    Hi-Hinata (honey garlic)

Came back again for the second time around while I was back in Toronto, and I gotta say this place hasn't failed me yet. My girlfriend and I ordered 2 new flavors this time and it was the "Hi-Hinata", "Sweet Girl" and of course their Jaffna Fries. The Hi-Hinata was the perfect combo of honey and garlic on a succulent wings--not too saucy, not dry either. The Sweet Girl was a mix of their bbq sauce (spicy) and Teriyaki sauce and wooo that combo was a good kick of mild and sweetness. Both were 10/10! And I well-recommend anyone to try their Jaffna fries. Again, it's to die for.

IF YOU EVER CRAVE WINGS...CRAVE.WINGS.FINNA MAKE YOU TRULY, MADLY, DEEPLY, CRAVE.WINGS. they be satisfying OD though. i dont even know where to start. OK SO, next to their flavours being elite. wings crispy. onion rings crispier. perfect crunch. juicy chicken. fried to perfection. lawdd. id give them 7 out of 5 stars if i could. they got flavours OD - but our fave is most definitely "where's sasuke?!?!" K I CANT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME WE WENT TO A PLACE WHERE BOTH THEIR FRIES AND ONION RINGS SLAP YET HERE WE ARE. honestly, i cant choose a fave. as a fries lover, that says a loottt. their jafna topping on either though (more than symbol x7384929) oh not to mention super cool graphics and a lot of seating OH AND VVV CLEAN BATHROOM. ONLYYY thing id flag is their times - closed on Mondays?! opening @ 3pm on from tues to thurs?! YALL BUGGIN.

I noticed that the old Chinese Food Gallery restaurant has closed and has been replaced by CraveWings. It is very disappointing since I been eating takeout from Chinese Food Gallery restaurant for many years. I dropped by for some some takeout when CraveWings opened. The decor hasn't changed much from the Chinese Food Gallery except they put up some Naruto pictures. I got the menu and they have 150 flavours of chicken wings! They also had quesadillas, salads, wraps, and burgers. I ordered the Honey Mustard wings with some french fries. The wings were delicious when I got home. Would I go back? Sure since I like eating chicken wings and I like to explore some of the other flavours.

    Super cool deco!

Had and opportunity to revisit for a reunion with friends. Like going backwards in a Time Machine. Same decor tables Wow. The other thing that hadn't changed was the wings. Those award winning wing sauces were just as good as I remember. It was 1/2 price night place was lined up, but nobody was trying push us out to turn tables. We all agreed that we thought the wings were even better than we remembered. Service, even packed was friendly and timely. Want to try an independent wing place rather than a chain. Find your way to this place. Right on Yonge str so subway easy to get there. Do it.

The wings came out extremely quickly, but somehow weren't as piping hot as you would expect. The quality of meat was just ok, and the wings are pretty average in size - the sauces were also solid but nothing to write home about. The fries were pretty greasy and didn't taste fresh at all, and the veggies had some dirt / residue on them. The dill sauce was very nice. Overall, I think there is a lot of room for improvement but also a lot of potential.

Stopped by Wingstop after playing at a local park. Having heard much about Wingstop on social…read moremedia, my friends and I decided to check it out. Upon entering, the mix of greens, woods, and spacious seating was very inviting. However, the service was just decent. Now, let's talk about the food. I was disappointed with the size of the chicken wings compared to other places I've been to. The fries were okay but lacked a punch in flavour. As for the wings, I tried the BBQ bases, KBBQ, and Hickory Smoked BBQ. Despite being advertised with a bit of 'heat,' I could hardly taste any. The dipping sauce was also quite runny compared to the thicker consistency I prefer. Overall, I was a bit let down after all the hype on social media. Many say the U.S. locations are better. It doesn't hurt to try, but there are other wing places that I'd prefer.

Wingstop is a USA chain. This Danforth location is their third in Canada (all 3 are currently in…read moreToronto). They do plan to expand across Canada. The soft opening was 2022-11-17 and grand opening will be on 2022-11-26. On grand opening day, the first 100 customers will get a 6-piece wing combo (worth $14.99). There were 4 of us for dinner. We ordered the following (combos come with fries and a drink). Most wings come with a choice of 2 flavours (except the Tenders only have 1 flavour choice) ranging from not spicy up to 5 flames. 1. Tenders Combo ($12.99) with Honey Garlic. 2. Classic Wings Combo ($14.99) with Spicy Korean Q and Hawaiian. 3. Boneless Wings Combo ($14.99) with Hickory Smoked BBQ and Lemon Pepper. 4. Mixed Wings Combo ($14.99) with Mango Habanero and Louisiana Rub. 5. Cajun Fried Corn ($6.99). 6. Triple Chunk Brownie ($2.99) x 2. With the 4 combos, we chose the following fries and drinks: - Fries: regular, Cajun, parmesan, voodoo. - Drinks: Iced Tea, Root Beer, Fanta x 2. The wings are regular-sized, not the larger buffalo-sized. All the flavours we chose were delicious. We were surprised that the fries were full-sized with the combo, not a smaller amount that I would expect with a combo. I loved the voodoo fries. The 4 combos were more than enough for 4 of us; we had to take home the equivalent of 2 fries and 2 Brownies. The corn was nice - I could have eaten a lot more! I heated a Brownie in a microwave and it was delicious. The staff is so courteous and helpful. There is plenty of indoor seating. The restaurant is clean. The interior is tastefully decorated. I like the lit-up circular centerpiece saying "Danforth". There is no free WiFi (but there will be in the future). The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms but they are not wheelchair accessible. There are high chairs for young kids. There is paid and free neighbourhood parking. Review 2022-128

Saw this place online and as a HUGE korean fried chicken fan, I had to check it out :)…read more Here's what I ordered: Golden lava platter for 1: 9.5/10 This tasted exactly how I wanted it to taste! A very strong, rich salted egg yolk flavour, with an extremely crispy breading. The seasoning reminded me so much of my favourite Irvin's salted egg yolk potato chips I get from Asian grocery stores. The chicken inside was juicy, opted for the bone-in chicken for both platters and it was definitely a good choice! Sweet as Platter for 1: Whenever I go to korean fried chicken spots I always have to get a sweet & spicy one as a benchmark! This one was pretty solid, good flavour and crispy. I ordered level 2/3 spice, next time I would pick 3 as it didn't have that much of a kick to me (I have a high spicey tolerance to be fair). Cheesy kimchi fried rice: 7.5/10 Great flavour, a bit on the greasy side though! Tempura shrimp: 8/10 Classic tempura, bouncy shrimp and fried well. This spot is halal, and sensory-friendly. They have a sensory room as well as sensory tools for those who need them. I also noticed that they had special ramadan deals going on. They also operate on a no tipping policy. I went on a Wednesday at 6PM, and while it wasn't too busy, I imagine that the place will fill up fast on weekends. This is one of my new favorite fried chicken spots, I'll be back for sure!
