The interior colour of the store catches your eye (strong contrast of red and white) and the store is spotlessly clean. My favs are the black pepper beef burger and liangpi with sesame sauce. The black pepper beef has a great salty-sweet flavour and the tender meat contrasts nicely in texture with the crispy burger bun. The liangpi is starch noodles topped with wheat gluten chunks (nice and bouncy), mixed with spicy, nutty sesame paste. The smooth texture of the noodles make em perfect for slurping. From the price point to the quality of food to the service, literally nothing to complain about here! Only good things to say :)

Burgers: Black pepper beef, signature beef, BBQ mushrooms. The patty pastry was a lot thinner than what we see on the pictures, so I guess it's one of those, don't be deceived by the picture. We basically agreed that the black pepper was the most flavorful, and you can really taste the black pepper. The mushroom was really good, that if this is the type of vegetarian meals I'd get, it'll make me convert without missing my beef. Ironically, the signature one was our least fave. It just didn't have that much flavor compared to the other two. It just felt meh. We also got the chicken nuggets and chili oil wonton. Chicken nuggets, were literally chicken nuggets. I thought it would be crispy chicken, like the Korean style, it was not. It was just nuggets. It was still good, but meh. Chili oil wonton, flavor bomb! There's just an ingredient in there in not quite fond of, not sure what. It's a little bit spicy if you eat a lot of it, that's it you have somewhat of a low heat tolerance. My friend got the peach lychee drink and she didn't like it. She said it tasted like just drinking the syrup, so fountain style, not like tea. My other friend got the cornmilk. She said it's sweet, like eating those sweetcorn snack. Overall, I'm really glad I got to try this place. I'd say people's pictures looks so much better than what it actually is. Good to try, but not something I'd crave for again.

They have lunch specials so decided to give it a try. They had an option of BBQ chicken, jerk chicken or fried chicken on rice and peas and coleslaw. I ordered the jerk chicken with gravy and it was super delicious. The gravy was tasty, however, there wasn't enough sauce on my rice and it tasted a bit dry. Will def ask for more sauce next time. My meal only costed $5 -- what a steal of a deal, can never find lunch for this price anymore! Will def be coming back when I'm in the neighbourhood.

The coconut milk gravy reminds me of Indonesian flavours (the Philippines is close by which would make sense). The batter is like none other. I wonder if they use corn flour? Thin off/white, but perfectly cooked. The Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich have a very large crunchy breaded chicken breast, lettuce, tomato and large slices of fresh jalapeño to make it spicy. Then it has a liberal amount of a sauce that seems to be Thousand Island dressing. Over all it was a very filling sandwich and very tasty. Chicken was crispy and veg was very fresh.
