It's probably best to come here when it's not a Monday or Friday. Sadly, Friday was my only available day, so I spent 1.5 hours to get my driver's licence renewed. Specifically, it was time to get my photo retaken. After It was done, I needed to fetch lunch. It was just after noon. I haven't been to this plaza for a while. The Indian restaurant next door looked like it had shuttered for good, which was sad. My original thought was to hit the bakery. An even better discovery was The Wing Spot between the bakery and Service Ontario. Perfect! I walked in. There was a mom-daughter duo having lunch. I was greeted by the nicest woman. I went with the special that got me a pound of wings, chili onion fries, and pop for $19 before taxes. I got honey garlic wings. She said that I could grab any canned pop from the fridge. I liked the variety. I saw peach, pineapple, and strawberry Crush. What got my attention was blackberry Dr Pepper. I got it. I paid with my credit card. I tapped and was good. I took my can of pop and waited at a table. Ten minutes later, my food was ready. She asked whether I needed cutlery and napkins. I said yes. She put everything in a plastic bag. I thanked her and happily left with my lunch. I put my lunch in an insulated bag. I then drove home, feeling accomplished that I got my driver's licence renewed and had grub to devour. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. I loved my honey garlic wings. I'd say that I got more drums than flats. I like them both, so all was great. They were large and meaty. The honey garlic sauce was the perfect amount that coated each wing. So good! I have never had chili onion fries. They were excellent. It had slight heat, but not enough to do any damage. I don't think I can get regular fries. I loved how tasty the onion, chili, green onions, and sauce were on the fries. I loved my blackberry Dr Pepper. It was refreshing and yummy. I wish it came in zero, but it was a nice change. This eatery was a wonderful discovery. I look forward to returning for more wings. This place has over a hundred flavours and the wings are halal. Wing flavors are personal, but the Mango Habanero dry rub is a standout favorite of mine with its perfect sweet-heat balance. Can be a little dry but good. With the sauce, it made it great. Received 9 wings for the pound. Fries - very good. Crispy on the outside and tender inside. 1/2 slab ribs dinner: should be 6 ribs - received 8 (a small size). Whoop! The meat was tender and good flavour. Cold slaw: on the sweet side but good. Basically fall off the bone no issues good smoke flavor through the entire thing. Overall, really good experience would come back and try the brisket in the future at the table. There was loud music video playing on the tv. Seats 36 normally - extra chairs available. For our cans of pop, it was shared out into cups which was fill right to the rim, instead of giving us the can and we share as we go alone. Weird. Wings: All were fried perfectly with the right crispness. Sweet and sour spicy wings: yummy also. Not too spicy. Spicy jerk - Doesn't taste like jerk but good. Spicy garlic parm wings were good. Creamy. Poutine was cheesy. The carrot and celery sticks served with the wings were crisp. Washrooms was old - from the last restaurant? I will definitely return.

3.5 STARS Came here…read moreduring their soft opening, newly renovated. Store looked fairly clean other than the chairs having crumbs of breaded wings, or fries. Their soft opening had a 20% off entire menu, and I ordered 5LB wings with 3 flavours (honey garlic, spicy thai, and devils ranch); I also got haddock and fries to try too. Wings were decently sized and flavours were not too bad, if you don't like overly saucy wings, then king of wings is for you. Haddock was a huge let down. It was super dry and overall not good, it didn't have any flavour and batter wasn't seasoned. Tartar sauce provided tasted off. Fries were okay. Only coming back for wings as they're considerably way cheaper compared to other wing establishments.

Their app sucks though and is super slow, doesn't really load on the payment page so I suggest using their website. The chicken was pretty good and they make it on the spot when you order. Their biscuits through are super dry. The staff was really kind though and helped answer questions and event helped with their website. They have a good amount of seats and large tables so you can definitely eat in if you want to.

After paying and taking a seat, it dawned on me that my order was oddly expensive as it costed me $12 extra to make my sandwich a combo, whereas it costed my buddy only $2.50 to do the same to his. After inquiring about the discrepancy to the worker, she tried to pass it off as something that's in the system. Not willing to take it as it is, I finally got her to get a hold of a manager who over the phone conceded that there is a problem with the prices in the system. In the end, the worker was directed to issue an $8 refund which I accepted without fuss, even though that still equates to $4 to make the combo which is more than $2.50. The way they're running this place is comically inept. Prices aren't clearly posted, the online ordering portal doesn't function, and the food prep time is extremely slow. I really hope they get things together, because the chicken however is actually quite good.

This Korean fried chicken place used to be much better. They get 2.5 stars…read more Korean seasoned mild was on the dry side, probably due to a combination of halal chicken & it being air fried. It was crispy but there was a piece of cartilage. The sauce was below average & almost not spicy at all - just sweet & sour. It was lacking something & not just spiciness. Most of my honey butter fries were varying degrees of undercooked inside & they should've been crispier outside. The flavouring was the usual honey butter powder. I like that they poked holes in the takeout boxes so the food didn't get too soggy.

We went for the lunch special and tried Original, Soy Garlic, and Spicy Butter Chicken, with fries tossed in Honey Butter seasoning for one of the sets. I had no idea what to expect walking in, and was honestly surprised to learn they use air fryers here. Now, taste-wise, let's be real. I've had better fried chicken elsewhere and yes, there are spots that push a bit more in quality. But here's the catch: at this price point, it's rather impossible to complain. Sure, the sauce toss was lazy, and a few bites were a bit on the funky-smelling side, but it all somehow landed within the range of "worth it." Fries were a lot crispier than expected, and so was the batter. Air fried or not, the texture really surprised me. It's weirdly satisfying. Getting into the place was also a bit awkward for a first-timer, but I'll chalk that up to the building's layout, not the restaurant's fault. Overall, it's one of those spots that feels like a random find, and turns out a lot better than you gave it credit for at first. No complaints here, and honestly hope they stick around. I wouldn't mind coming back when craving something easy and affordable that still hits the spot!

I recently introduced some friends to this place and they're already planning to go back. We ordered mostly from their Combo menu - 6 dishes for only $77.50, including soup and rice.
