Not bad. Ordered online and only waited a few minutes for the order to be prepped. The lady who worked there seemed nice and polite. The food was pretty good, considering I haven't had KFC in years - and we don't have one in town. This location was the closest. Those childhood memories of the smell of 11 herbs and spices came flooding back in a rush! Oh boy! The only recommendation is for The Colonel to dispatch a ground crew to maintain the parking lot. Wow, it's been a hot minute since I last had Kentucky Fried Chicken! It seems I've adapted "KFC" to stand for Korean Fried Chicken nowadays. Mostly for nostalgia, I was craving Colonel Sanders' "finger lickin' goodness" a couple weeks back and finally brought myself to order a big ol' bucket to satisfy the craving. Using the app, I ordered an online exclusive of 20 pieces + large fries + large gravy for $40. The deal was solid but the food was not. Seriously, what happened to their chicken?! I already set the bar so low because the only thing they ever had going for them was how deliciously salty and well-seasoned (but equally atrocious and unhealthy) their batter was. This time, the batter was bland and uninspiring. Coupled with the soggy skin (per usual, it ain't no Popeyes), the chicken was rather disappointing! I can say with certainty that my 10 year craving is now gone and it probably won't come back for another 20 years.. if not ever! Side note: the customer service at this location was great though. Don't usually go here cause I'm a vegetarian but when I heard they had a veggie burger, I had to try it! The veggie burger was really good! One of the best I actually had that had a meat-like texture as well! But it was definitely overpriced. It was almost $8 for a burger with just a little lettuce, the patty, and sauce. There were no other ingredients so I'm actually shocked that this cost quite of bit of money compared to the other burgers especially since it's veggie too. Service was great and not a busy place compared to the other vendors at the mall. Burger was good but not worth it for the price. read more

Yes, they recently got crispy back !! Been going here for the last 4-5 years. Service has always been friendly. 1 out of 10 times, they messed up the count in a bucket. But it has not happened again, this was a few years back. Toonie Tues is no longer $2, its $3.29 !! Yes, the interior is dated. I wish they had indoor seating. Someone just cut the line into the store and everyone was yelling at her, someone even started kicking the window. Never a fan of food court fast food establishments, but this KFC wasn't too terrible. Located inside the Express Eatery in Markville (let's be honest...this whole environmental craze has completely modernized the food courts to model the Urban Eatery), this KFC doesn't really stand out compared to other KFC restaurants I've eaten at, but at least I haven't had food poisoning yet? My most recent meal here consisted of a value box meal with popcorn chicken and an individual macaroni salad. I actually find the chicken to be quite juicy, but it somewhat lacked in quantity (the chicken drumstick I got was thin in actual meat). Overall not a bad KFC. I still prefer the KFC on 7 near Main Markham as it's a standalone joint. read more

This is a review based primarily on the service received at this particular takeaway KFC, or lack thereof. Ordered a feast pack + 2 double down waffle sandwiches on Good Friday. The feast pack was supposed to include a medium size popcorn chicken which was what my niece really wanted. The total amount came up to approximately $50. I was not provided a receipt and in hindsight should have insisted on one. Once we got home we noticed our order was missing the popcorn chicken, and had a very disappointed niece. As it is a 15 min drive each way, it was not worth driving back at that time. We decided to phone the restaurant and the phone kept on ringing and ringing and ringing until it went to a voice message that did not allow for voice mail. Several of us tried calling for the next 1 hour and got the same result. Having worked in fast food industry as a teenager, I get that orders will get messed up from time to time, but please pick up the phone when your customers call. Just remember to ask for your receipt before leaving the restaurant and be willing to drive back to the restaurant if your order gets messed up. read more

This is not the first time that the staff of this store often do not read the notes on the customer list. This is even more egregious. The manager of this store, the service attitude is outrageous! No wonder this store has such low reviews online! When I choose to place an order from this store on the kfc app, I always leave a note! KFC offered coupons for 2 can dine Colonels Original Sandwich for $10.69. I assumed it was a full chicken patty so i bought it. Turns out it's 2 chicken strips in the sandwich like really? You're going to charge that price for 2 chicken strips stuck in between a burger bun. KFC is a scammer, and if I could rate it a 0, i would. I ate KFC about 5:30 with another coworker here on May 5th and me and my coworker literally ended up throwing up about 2 hours later. There was something wrong with the chicken or fries because we both got chicken orders. I got the snack box with the popcorn chicken and fries while my friend got the Zinger Burger combo with fries and a juice. The good, the bad and the ugly: The good: Great tasting but it's kinda like cheating on your girl with a $10 hooker. You think you're getting a deal but you'll just feel dead inside after its over. Very small location only offering take out & delivery. They are consistent with service & quality and hardly any wait time even when there are 4-5 people waiting in line. 1 person out front and usually 2 in the back. I have never sent anything back. Never had cold fries. If i don't like certain pieces or like to have more thighs or wings, no hesitation. Just wish it wasn't so expensive for fast food, lol. Be careful if this location comes up for delivery option, there debit/credit card machine is faulty and will debit & credit your account for every attempt. When attempting to correct an issue with an order problem I got a belligerent manager who freaked out on me and demanded I show up at there establishment first thing in the morning (I don't drive and I work office hours). Probably the worst KFC ever. Every time I pick up a fries it's cold, not even tad warm. When I tell them to make fresh one they act like they have seen a ghost or something. Today I ordered Zinger sandwich and it looked like they pre heated the same meat again it tasted horrible. I asked her to redo both fries and sandwich. This location was one of the best in terms of crispness and well coating chicken. Over the past six years since moving to Markham this was to goto KFC! Something new has changed since approimately June 2015- the chicken is not coated enough with seasoning, is soggy with oil (including fries). If this is a new franchise owner i suggest they go back for training as sales will slowly decline as more and more get dissappointed. read more

On one visit the woman while taking my order realized she forgot to give the person ahead of me their medium salad. She had it in bag under her hand. Ppl make mistakes but it was her look and chuckle of "oh well" when she told me that really sucks. Shows how little she cared. Second time when I ordered a favorite bucket, all my popcorn chicken were burnt. If you are making this all day how could you not notice the chicken is a different colour and dried out?!
