Store closed. Going past the old 'Scott's Chicken Villa' Kentucky Fried Chicken KFC location I noticed a STORE CLOSED sign out front and construction fencing surrounding the property. I tried calling the business line to confirm this but the phone line rings out. Could be that this Highway 7 KFC location has closed down. read more

KFC - Store closed sign - Fast Food Near Me - Markham, Ontario

Not bad. Ordered online and only waited a few minutes for the order to be prepped. The lady who worked there seemed nice and polite. The food was pretty good, considering I haven't had KFC in years - and we don't have one in town. This location was the closest. Those childhood memories of the smell of 11 herbs and spices came flooding back in a rush! Oh boy! The only recommendation is for The Colonel to dispatch a ground crew to maintain the parking lot. Those potholes have got to be patched up! read more

Wow, it's been a hot minute since I last had Kentucky Fried Chicken! It seems I've adapted "KFC" to stand for Korean Fried Chicken nowadays. Mostly for nostalgia, I was craving Colonel Sanders' "finger lickin' goodness" a couple weeks back and finally brought myself to order a big ol' bucket to satisfy the craving. Using the app, I ordered an online exclusive of 20 pieces + large fries + large gravy for $40. The deal was solid but the food was not. Seriously, what happened to their chicken?! I already set the bar so low because the only thing they ever had going for them was how deliciously salty and well-seasoned (but equally atrocious and unhealthy) their batter was. This time, the batter was bland and uninspiring. Coupled with the soggy skin (per usual, it ain't no Popeyes), the chicken was rather disappointing! I can say with certainty that my 10 year craving is now gone and it probably won't come back for another 20 years.. if not ever! Side note: the customer service at this location was great though. The two ladies working there that night were friendly, attentive, and efficient! Cheers to them! read more

Food felt very fresh and not very oily like other KFCs! Good service and communication. We tried the new Kentucky Scorcher Sandwich and it was delicious! Not that spicy but still good :) read more

Don't usually go here cause I'm a vegetarian but when I heard they had a veggie burger, I had to try it! The veggie burger was really good! One of the best I actually had that had a meat-like texture as well! But it was definitely overpriced. It was almost $8 for a burger with just a little lettuce, the patty, and sauce. There were no other ingredients so I'm actually shocked that this cost quite of bit of money compared to the other burgers especially since it's veggie too. Service was great and not a busy place compared to the other vendors at the mall. Burger was good but not worth it for the price. read more

Yes, they recently got crispy back !! Been going here for the last 4-5 years. Service has always been friendly. 1 out of 10 times, they messed up the count in a bucket. But it has not happened again, this was a few years back. Toonie Tues is no longer $2, its $3.29 !! Yes, the interior is dated. I wish they had indoor seating. Lots of parking, a couple in the front and side, and more in the back. Staff is friendly, which keeps me coming back.!! read more

Never a fan of food court fast food establishments, but this KFC wasn't too terrible. Located inside the Express Eatery in Markville (let's be honest...this whole environmental craze has completely modernized the food courts to model the Urban Eatery), this KFC doesn't really stand out compared to other KFC restaurants I've eaten at, but at least I haven't had food poisoning yet? My most recent meal here consisted of a value box meal with popcorn chicken and an individual macaroni salad. I actually find the chicken to be quite juicy, but it somewhat lacked in quantity (the chicken drumstick I got was thin in actual meat). Overall not a bad KFC. I still prefer the KFC on 7 near Main Markham as it's a standalone joint. read more

Ordered online at 1435, showed up at the store located at 5863 Hwy 7E Markham at 1445 and was told to line up. Now at 1535 and still nowhere close to picking up my order, can't even cancel the order! Someone just cut the line into the store and everyone was yelling at her, someone even started kicking the window. Yet the staff came out and tell everyone to shut up and they are not going to deal with the conflict! This is absolute bullshit, if you can't handle the volume then you should NOT charge your customer in advance! Probably the last time I'll have this burger, if I even get it before I starve to death! read more

This is a review based primarily on the service received at this particular takeaway KFC, or lack thereof. Ordered a feast pack + 2 double down waffle sandwiches on Good Friday. The feast pack was supposed to include a medium size popcorn chicken which was what my niece really wanted. The total amount came up to approximately $50. I was not provided a receipt and in hindsight should have insisted on one. Once we got home we noticed our order was missing the popcorn chicken, and had a very disappointed niece. As it is a 15 min drive each way, it was not worth driving back at that time. We decided to phone the restaurant and the phone kept on ringing and ringing and ringing until it went to a voice message that did not allow for voice mail. Several of us tried calling for the next 1 hour and got the same result. Having worked in fast food industry as a teenager, I get that orders will get messed up from time to time, but please pick up the phone when your customers call. Just remember to ask for your receipt before leaving the restaurant and be willing to drive back to the restaurant if your order gets messed up. read more

KFC offered coupons for 2 can dine Colonels Original Sandwich for $10.69. I assumed it was a full chicken patty so i bought it. Turns out it's 2 chicken strips in the sandwich like really? You're going to charge that price for 2 chicken strips stuck in between a burger bun. KFC is a scammer, and if I could rate it a 0, i would. I went to the Markville Mall Location in Markham and the service sucks. The cashier loves to grab the money or coupons out of your hands, very rude and unnecessary. They need to rehire employees, these existing ones need to go. From what I remember, they've always had rude employees who work at this location. read more

KFC - Really...? Colonel Sandwich - Fast Food Near Me - Markham, Ontario

I ate KFC about 5:30 with another coworker here on May 5th and me and my coworker literally ended up throwing up about 2 hours later. There was something wrong with the chicken or fries because we both got chicken orders. I got the snack box with the popcorn chicken and fries while my friend got the Zinger Burger combo with fries and a juice. Just bad food poisoning wouldn't recommend eating at this KFC joint at all ever unless you like throwing up then be my guest. read more

This is not the first time that the staff of this store often do not read the notes on the customer list. This is even more egregious. The manager of this store, the service attitude is outrageous! No wonder this store has such low reviews online! When I choose to place an order from this store on the kfc app, I always leave a note! This time was no different, but they still didn't read the notes on the order list! Every time I ordered 4pcs, they all gave chicken chunks, no even one chicken drumstick!Obviously, it is shown in the kfc menu picture that there will be a chicken drumstick within 4pcs, but I received 4 chicken chunks every time! Even if I had leave a note every time before i make an order,it still doesn't work! And there's still not a drumstick in the box! And this is the third time, I'm really angry, I just demand that what I ordered and what I got is the same as the picture in their store's menu! Again, all chunks! I don't know what is the meaning of kfc website asking customers to leave a note before placing an order! One mistake is okay, but every time it happens, it's really annoying! Especially when I came to the store to pick up my order today, they were not busy at all! Although the front desk service attitude was good, but the store manager attitude is extremely bad, is completely defiant! Instead of admitting to his own quality of service problems, he yelled at me! Ignored his problem, just give me press and trash talk! How can he be an manager in this store? It's totally insulting to customers! This guy call Shawn?who is really make me disgusting! This was worst experience I ever have in kfc! If anyone want to complain about him, you can only leave a message on kfc's official website to complain! kfc doesn't have customer service number at all! Anyone who wants to eat kfc, please take a detour to another store! This store is not worth people are paying to endure these sucks service! read more

Seems that changed ownership/management, got chicken on last Thursday, opened up when we got home and the pieces were small, was not coated properly, looks like they split a breast piece in half and sell it as 2 pieces. Coming here for years, but not again, rather go to Markville. read more

This kfc always, always shorts you on take out. If you have large take out orders they always seem to miss your items. And hope you don't notice it. Ordered 8 tonnie specials for coworkers at lunch. When i went back to the office, a 2 pc and fries order had only 1 piece. This also happened with a bucket order the month before. read more

Yes I know. It's dirty bird. What do you expect? Well apparently, even my low expectations were too high. The good, the bad and the ugly: The good: Great tasting but it's kinda like cheating on your girl with a $10 hooker. You think you're getting a deal but you'll just feel dead inside after its over. The bad: The food is cold and not fresh at all. The ugly: I asked if it was possible to order a bucket of chicken with no drumsticks. If it wasn't, then no problem. But they said 'sure'. She spoke to the "lady" in the back and she looked a little pissed and glared at me. I told her not to worry if she couldn't accommodate the request. The last thing I need is spit mixed in with the colonel's secret recipe afterall. But she said "fine". When I get home? You guessed it. Bucket FULL of drumsticks. In fact there was NOTHING but drumsticks. Now, I understand if they couldn't give me what I wanted despite being a paying customer and being a seemingly minor request. But to go out of their way to stick it to me? Never had a place do that to me before. Truly Ugly. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Very small location only offering take out & delivery. They are consistent with service & quality and hardly any wait time even when there are 4-5 people waiting in line. 1 person out front and usually 2 in the back. I have never sent anything back. Never had cold fries. If i don't like certain pieces or like to have more thighs or wings, no hesitation. Just wish it wasn't so expensive for fast food, lol. Thankfully, i only pick up from there once a month. read more

I'm a rare customer of this place. .. unfortunately I went and everything we received was old dried out and cold

they know you wont be bothered to come back so they give u the smallest shittest half cooked half raw pieces.

Be careful if this location comes up for delivery option, there debit/credit card machine is faulty and will debit & credit your account for every attempt. When attempting to correct an issue with an order problem I got a belligerent manager who freaked out on me and demanded I show up at there establishment first thing in the morning (I don't drive and I work office hours). Head Office just transfers you to the store and does not help. read more

This is a good location, only had 1 time where my bucket didn't have everything ( missing 1 or 2 pieces) I still go to this location ... just wish they wouldn't take the food out early ..... food needs to be cooked a bit longer ..... seems too soft ..... and the building needs to be updated .. looks really old and kinda gross inside read more

Probably the worst KFC ever. Every time I pick up a fries it's cold, not even tad warm. When I tell them to make fresh one they act like they have seen a ghost or something. Today I ordered Zinger sandwich and it looked like they pre heated the same meat again it tasted horrible. I asked her to redo both fries and sandwich. Sandwich was fresh but chicken was still raw and fries was still cold when I got home. I live about 3 min drive from there. Anyways never going back again. This place needs to shut down. read more

This was the worst KFC I've ever been to in terms of customer service they wouldn't adhere to my order after they've messed it up the day before. read more

This location was one of the best in terms of crispness and well coating chicken. Over the past six years since moving to Markham this was to goto KFC! Something new has changed since approimately June 2015- the chicken is not coated enough with seasoning, is soggy with oil (including fries). If this is a new franchise owner i suggest they go back for training as sales will slowly decline as more and more get dissappointed. read more

Been here a couple of times and while I really like the vintage look and feel, the service and chicken are not up to par. On one visit the woman while taking my order realized she forgot to give the person ahead of me their medium salad. She had it in bag under her hand. Ppl make mistakes but it was her look and chuckle of "oh well" when she told me that really sucks. Shows how little she cared. Second time when I ordered a favorite bucket, all my popcorn chicken were burnt. If you are making this all day how could you not notice the chicken is a different colour and dried out?! To serve it again shows how little they care. Im going to markville from now on for kfc in Thai area. Yes, I'd rather go into a mall than order here again! read more

Got delivery from this store the order came 1.5 hrs late called up the store no answer the first two times I called. Got through at 10:30 pm when the store closed and the store manager or owner was very rude, told her the matter and she hangs up on me. My first and last time ordering from KFC. read more
