And just so we're clear, their chicken salad, served in many different ways, is absolutely FANTASTIC. You have lots to choose from, with chicken salad being the star of any show. If you fancy a sandwich, then you have plenty of options, ranging from croissant to toast and more. If you'd like your lunch as a scoop of chicken salad or other with some crackers, fruit, and/or veggies, then you're in luck. I'd suggest the Chicken Salad BLT (I did mine with fruit & nuts), served on toasted wheat and sidled up to a veggie cup. The sides are what you'd expect: mac 'n cheese, pasta salad, slaw, etc. or maybe a bag of chips. All of that is accompanied by a sugar cookie, and cookies make pretty much everything better. The freshness is there with everything. It doesn't have a pre-made taste, the fruit & veggies are crisp, and the sweet tea is just right. Even the service is first-rate, with someone actually asking to bus our table (it's so not expected) and we even got an extra cookie for a finicky kiddo. Make sure you double check your order before you leave! I placed an online order on June 28 and paid for a $3.50 side of grape salad that was completely missing when we got home. We called immediately, and instead of a simple refund, they told us we'd have to drive 30 minutes back to the store with the receipt just to get our money back. So you take my money, don't give me the item, and refuse to refund it unless I waste more gas than the item costs? That's not a policy. That's theft. To top it off, they were out of all chicken salads (at Chicken Salad Chick, seriously?), the bread was stale, and nobody ever followed up after promising the owner would reach out.There was no resolution offered to make it right. I went for the spicy pimento with lettuce and tomato on wheat berry bread and potato soup combo. I got it toasted but my sandwich was cold. My only critique. I know it was due to the pimento cheese being refrigerated. The tomato slices were a tad green but it was good otherwise. The potato soup was delicious. And I always love the mini buttercream cookie. I arrived at 6:30 and they were in preparation to close at 7. It's my fault for not knowing their hours (seems early!). I always recommend Chicken Salad Chick. I love this place. I usually get Fancy Nancy but it's frustrating because often there are only 2-3 grapes in an entire pound of chicken salad. Previously, they would give extra grapes if I pointed out that there were only 2-3 grapes. The last time I mentioned the grape issue, I was told that they could not give more grapes. This Chicken Salad Chick is located on Hillcrest Road in a convenient part of town - near Publix. They offer delicious and made from scratch chicken salad options. During my visit today, I got two scoops of chicken salad, broccoli cheese soup and all the crackers my heart desired. It was a great portion for lunch and I left satiated! The staff was polite. My wife loves this place. They have gotten more popular with us during covid since they have a drive through. I'm not a huge fan of chicken salad but the wife loves the the Jazzy Julie on Croissant. I have never before been to such a unique place. The variety of Chicken salads is so good. They do offer other sandwiches and salads. I was so thrilled to try something different and yummy in a chicken salad. Thank you. So today I placed an order over phone for pick up when I arrived I went through the drive thru to pick up. Bad move because when I get to voice box they advise me that I have to come inside for pick up they no longer do pick ups at window. So I waited 10 or so minutes in drive thru because there is no way to get out of the line then have to wait inside to pick up my order. Not a happy person about the delay since I ordered it so I would not have to wait. Also my order was not even waiting for me! They had to pull the order from the case get my drink etc. I called in so yes I was upset that I had to wait in to separate lines and then also wait for my food!
