A different experience from our previous visits. A young man greeted us when he came back to the host station, was all smiles and happy and eager to help get us the right table. Great service, off to a great start, now our waitress came over Kaylynn a very bubbly and friendly young lady also eager to help. There are many empty tables on a Wednesday night at around 6 PM. Still the crowd noise level was up due to some games on. We ordered drinks and when she came back, we were ready to order. She had the Parmesan Garlic Wings, and I had Hot wings, yes, they brought the heat but great flavor as well. The fries were tasty and my wife had the potato wedges, and they were very tasty (sorry no picture and they came late to the table). She enjoyed her wings as well. This was a successful experience. The mozzarella sticks were amazing and the cheese stretched for miles when we tried to break the stick in half. I am in UTTER DISGUST right now. I'm on a seizure medication that prevents me from eating a lot in one setting. When we were seated...Neveah our waitress was kind and the conversation got off to a great start. She'd mentioned she's pulling a double, there was wrestling later tonight and she was pulling a double tomorrow (Sunday). When we began to order...everything began to go downhill. In the worst of ways. My best friend had his 19yr old son who's Autistic and bless his heart he got slightly upset asking toward the end if he was going to be ok and his eyes looked pretty worried...and THAT was absolutely NOT ok. Now on to what happened. My friend and his son ordered. When I went to ordered; I clearly explained to Naveah I was on a seizure medication preventing me the ability to eat a lot in one sitting, that I didn't want to waste food to please let me order the kids cheeseburger. I expressed everything clearly. She blatantly said I no....but here's where it gets interesting...she said the manager was hard and all she was allowed to do is take the kid's patty put it on an adult bun. To which I replied so if I don't do that I can't eat. She said yes ma'am. That's all I'm allowed to do. I was in total shock. I was embarrassed. I felt ashamed. I felt degraded. It was demoralizing. Sitting there in shock, my buddy got up and went to ask speak to the manager. I sat with the 19yr old autistic boy trying to collect my emotions and process what had happened. I had to excuse myself and told my buddy I'd handle it to go sit with his son. The manager said she'd make the kids burger for me. Of course you will...realizing what you just did. My appetite was gone. I was mortified and in shock. I was sad and made to feel ashamed. Overall things were discreetly handled. I sat down up front away from the autistic 19yr old so as to not upset him and to try and keep any conversations away from him to not upset him. I sat there with my head held low and just had a little bit of a good cry. Who in the world would tell someone you can't eat in a special manner because of a medical condition? AND Absolute epitome of embarrassment, shame...I'm still shaking my head wondering what is wrong with people....all for the almighty dollar... I can eat a kids burger patty on an adult bun and you're going to charge me adult prices but I can't just order a kids meal because of my medical condition...Got It. Ok. We were a party of 3- sat immediately with a nice greeting and smile. Our server , Amanda " was absolutely horrible! My beer was brought to the table after our appetizers hit the table and my husband had to remind her, that I'd still haven't received my drink and there was no head on the beer and the glass was warm- it was sitting at the bar awhile. My second beer was dropped off with the empty dirty glass on the table. Finally my 14 year old son asked her to remove the dirty glass. Appetiters were good, cheese curds and sampler. Had to ask a different server for plates and cutlery. Order 3 burgers- over cooked and dry. Our burgers were dropped off while our dirty and empty appetizer plates were still on the table. We decided to Pre bus the table ourselves and put it on a nearby empty table. That sat there for well over 30 minutes as various servers all walked by it and left it there. We had to ask a different server for knives and napkins. Our bill was dropped off with all the dirty soon the table and never asking if we wanted dessert or anything else. Ok, so when we first walked in we were thinking "hmmm, not sure how this is going to go...the girl at the front didn't look up at us at all, kept her head down writing on a piece of paper, asked "how many" still didn't look at us (rude) but just about that time this little blonde gal came over with a big smile and greeted us then showed us to our table so we were thankful that got turned around. Rule number one in customer service, always make eye contact and greet your customers. Now, all I can say is we will definitely be back!!!! Hostess (guy) was totally lackadaisical. He mumbled, I mumbled and we were seated. Also, there was a weird musty smell when we walked in, maybe that's why the hostess (guy) was grumpy.
