Half size tender counting as one? Wow.
Jennifer B.

Love foo's but what is going on with the tenders? Just popped in to grab lunch to go... got the 3 piece bigger snack box. Two of the tenders are tiny. Like single bite tiny. It's actually small enough for the entire thing to fit inside the sauce cup. Who put that in the box and thought it was acceptable? Come on, we have to do better than that.

Atmosphere: The drive-thru line at Foosackly's seems to always be ridiculously long, but the wait isn't as long as it seems! Ordering inside the store is also a relatively smooth and quick process. Service: The servers are always friendly and prompt. We've never had any problems with the service at Foosackly's. Food: We ordered a bigger box with Kung Fu sauce, BBQ sauce, and Foo sauce, subbing coleslaw for an extra slice of toast. The chicken is always delicious, crunchy, and tender. The Kung Fu sauce had a great balance of sweet and spicy, and Foo sauce complemented the salty chicken well. The BBQ sauce surely packed a punch and was on the more concentrated side, so beware! The fries were crispy and light, and were above average in terms of fast food fries. The toast also is a great vessel for dipping in sauces and enjoying with the chicken. Overall: Foosackly's is understandably one of Mobile's most-loved dining options. They are known for their great service, wide variety of options, and consistent quality. Their food is delicious, filling, and at a great price point, making them our go-to place for chicken fingers.

First time here and trying this chicken restaurant. This restaurant is old but the food was great. They were very busy and all the help was great. Didn't wait long for the food and it was hot. Thanks for the great visit. Will come back again. Give it a try for yourself.

Great place for chicken tenders cooked perfect, seriously they're chicken tenders done right. No matter the location, you can count on consistent, terrific customer service, fresh hot tenders and long lines. It's definitely worth the wait. I recommend devouring them immediately or pop the top so when you get to your destination, they just as delicious. I usually get the salad or just fingers and Kung foo. You can't go wrong with any item they're all foo-bulous.

Can't Fake the FOO!! First time I ever ate there - was with my son and his friends...one walked up and said - "I'll have BOX"..and I have been hooked ever since. GREAT prices. Simple fresh chicken fingers and fries with the Best ranch dressing you will ever eat. Love the small flakes of ice and foam cups they use - so your drinks last all day...no trash cans inside - the staff clean up after you. you can always leave a tip for them! We do! Son has moved away from Mobile and this is always the 1st place he wants to eat at when he comes home. We favor the one on University Blvd.

I've never been to Raising Canes or Zaxby's so I can only rate Foosackly's on my experience there alone. We ordered a couple of 3 piece snack boxes, which included 3 chicken fingers, fries, and a piece of Texas toast. We also chose honey mustard and Foosackly's as our sauces. The chicken fingers were kind of measly. I hope it's because we ordered snack size. There was barely any meat there. I'd hate to think that the boxes were just more of the same. The Foosackly's sauce was odd to me - way too peppery. The food did its job though and kept us satiated until we had snacks at a reception a few hours later. P.S. - the name doesn't exactly slip off the tongue, does it?

The fingers that came with a "snack"--ridiculously small compared to a few years ago.

I've been a fan of Foosack's since the beginning--I'd even skip class in high school to get lunch from their Dauphin St. location. I look forward to indulging whenever I'm in town from New Orleans on holidays. That being said, the quality in terms of portion size has gone down tremendously. A few years ago, a "box" would be stuffed with delicious, crinkly fries and the tenders would be huge and meaty. The last box I ordered had a pitiful smattering of fries at the bottom and a few shriveled fingers that were more crust than meat. Please see my attached photos for evidence of this. The taste is still good but I feel like it really goes against the funky local business and branding of Foosackly's. I'll still eat here because it is delicious but I'm probably going to side-eye them just a little bit. I'm not a fan of the coleslaw. I normally sub an extra foo sauce (it's crack, I swear) in lieu of the slaw. If you order the toast eat it right away--it gets soggy in the steamy heat of the styrofoam to-go container.

Don't even try to go to this location for lunch during the week you will have at least a 30 minute wait time in the Drive-Thru minimum

Because this spot is not pretending to be anything. This is full-on, unapologetic dive. And I mean that in the best possible way. You walk in and it's like the '70s, '80s, and a little bit of someone's '90s basement bar all got together and said, "Let's not change a thing." Old banquet-style tables, a bar top that feels like it's hosted a thousand stories, and walls that have clearly seen some things. I loved it immediately. Now let's talk food. The folks next to me were deep into the chicken and dumplings and talking about it like it was a life event. You know that kind of table chatter where you start reconsidering your order mid-bite? Yeah, that. I went shrimp po' boy... and no regrets. Shrimp fried just right. Crispy, flavorful, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Solid sandwich. The fries... eh, they showed up a little tired. Not terrible, just kind of there. A little cold, a little soggy, like they'd already had a long day. But here's the twist. You don't come to Judy's for perfection. You come for personality. For the feeling that you just discovered a place that doesn't care about trends, doesn't need a remodel, and definitely isn't chasing Instagram. It just is what it is... and somehow that works. Fold this into your expectations. If you need polished, keep driving. If you want real, pull up a chair. It's fun. It's different. It's got character for days. Four stars. And honestly, half the star is just for staying exactly the same all these years.

And just so we're clear, their chicken salad, served in many different ways, is absolutely FANTASTIC. You have lots to choose from, with chicken salad being the star of any show. If you fancy a sandwich, then you have plenty of options, ranging from croissant to toast and more. If you'd like your lunch as a scoop of chicken salad or other with some crackers, fruit, and/or veggies, then you're in luck. I'd suggest the Chicken Salad BLT (I did mine with fruit & nuts), served on toasted wheat and sidled up to a veggie cup. The sides are what you'd expect: mac 'n cheese, pasta salad, slaw, etc. or maybe a bag of chips. All of that is accompanied by a sugar cookie, and cookies make pretty much everything better. The freshness is there with everything. It doesn't have a pre-made taste, the fruit & veggies are crisp, and the sweet tea is just right. Even the service is first-rate, with someone actually asking to bus our table (it's so not expected) and we even got an extra cookie for a finicky kiddo. It feels and tastes like home, from a clean dining room (and restrooms!) and the service to boot. Great spot!

To top it off, they were out of all chicken salads (at Chicken Salad Chick, seriously?), the bread was stale, and nobody ever followed up after promising the owner would reach out. There was no resolution offered to make it right. Just a weak apology and a ridiculous demand that I drive back. After how I was treated, I won't be back.
