By far the best fast food chicken I have ever had. I'm a Louisiana native and Cane's has always been a favorite of mine, but Cane's is nothing even close to Foos! One of my favorite things about this place is that they have a uniquely delicious variety of homemade sauces. My personal favorites were the ranch and honey mustard, but the kung foo sauce was tasty surprise as well. The breading on their chicken is so so good and crispy. Probably the best thing about this place is that it's incredibly cheap for what you get! My box meal with an extra sauce was between $6-7. That's so insane to me because Cane's charges more than that for the 3 finger combo when Foo's gives you 5 tenders for $5-$6! The staff was incredibly friendly and their service was quick! My boyfriend, sisters, and I stopped on our way to New Orleans. When I saw the menu I immediately thought, look at this knockoff Cane's! We came in and were helped immediately. The employees are nice, the place is clean, and the prices are cheap. The Foo sauce is their original sauce (yummy) but they also offer other more traditional sauces as well. The tenders are good size, the batter is thin so it's crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. We placed 2 orders and both orders were well made. They also gave us extra tenders for both orders! The have queso and bacon fries were yummy. They use crinkle fries which I don't usually care for, but theirs was well cooked so it was crispy the way I like it. The queso they use is a little bit salty but it was good, and the bacon was crunchy and delicious! They also have toast which is just regular sliced bread toasted with butter. And, while Abners (Mississippi), Raising Canes (based in LA) and Bojangles (based in NC) are some of our favorites our first trip to Foosackly's didn't disappoint. In fact, it raised the bar to new heights. How anyone could ever eat Church's, KFC or Popeyes after coming here - I haven't a clue. While Foosackley's menu is small they do the few items they have exceptionally well. In fact, I'd say it's slightly better than Raising Canes (which is located down the street). The chicken tenders come hand breaded, with quality, fresh chicken and remain juicy and grease free. That's impressive. Their house sauce is top-notch, too. Our favorite thing about coming here, however, is the peach sweet tea. Yum! When in the mood for chicken tenders, and fries, you can't go wrong here. And, the price is right.
