Not good service. Tons of employees running around and it took over 20 minutes to get my order.

Loved this place so much I came back two weekends in a row! I first came last weekend with my…read moregirlfriends and had a great experience. The food was delicious and our waitress, Olivia, gave us excellent service. I enjoyed it so much that I brought my husband back this weekend, and once again, everything was great. Our server Sarah was so sweet, attentive, and accommodating. Great food and consistently great service. We'll definitely be back!

My husband discovered Wade's Landing by chance. He happened to be driving by and noticed the new…read morerestaurant. It was the valet service that caught his eye and peaked his interest that it might be a place we would enjoy. The inside of the restaurant is decorated simply, yet nicely, in warm, welcoming colors. The staff is primarily made up of respectful young people who have been trained well in customer service. They were a bit understaffed on a Sunday afternoon, which made service a little slow, but we were in no hurry and I completely know what it's like to work with not enough people, so I have no complaints about that, although there were several tables near us that weren't happy about the slow service. We got cocktails to start and they were good. I wanted the cocktail with the peanut butter tequila, but they ran out of the tequila, which was a little off putting, but The Grind and Day Drinking were suitable options. We ordered the deviled eggs appetizer and the presentation was lovely. I appreciated the smooth texture of the yolked stuffing, but there was absolutely no flavor to it. No seasoning at all. It did have a tasty bacon jam garnish, which helped, but I definitely wouldn't order them again. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The food looked tantalizing enough, the chicken was fried well with a good crispy batter and a moist center. But again, the flavor was lacking. A little seasoning would've made all the difference. The waffle was okay. My husband had the French toast, which was a little soggy, but he said it was good. We will give it a little time, let them work out the kinks, and we may try Wade's Landing again...maybe for Happy Hour or dinner.

First time to have dinner here yesterday and it was a great experience. We went early and there…read morewere only a couple of other parties dining, which made it nice and NOT loud - a problem we often encounter in restaurants. We were greeted by a friendly young man who seemed to be filling both roles as host and waiter. So many menu items sounded wonderful that it was hard to make a choice. We started with the charcuterie board and escargot. The former was large but my husband would have probably preferred more cheese and meat. There was a huge clump of red grapes, which were plump and juicy and just the right sweetness that I enjoyed. My escargot was good - not the best I've had but enjoyable. The puffy bread that came with it was, however, to die for. Entrees: my husband got the coq au vin and said it was very good. The portion wasn't big but hey, it's a French restaurant. I ordered two sides as my main dish: the lobster risotto, which was delicious, and the sweet potato fries. Those were some of the best I've had. I also asked for some ranch dressing instead of ketchup with the fries and the waiter said it was homemade. It was thick and creamy and definitely not like the typical bottled dressing. For dessert, I had the Irish coffee and it was very good. The recipe was a little different from most: Bailey's, Kahlua, Tia Maria, and Frangelico. Everything tasted good, service was good, especially considering there was only one waiter in evidence, prices were comparable to other similar restaurants, and we will almost certainly be back again to try some of the other things on the menu. If you're used to huge American style portions and hurried service, you might be disappointed, but if you're used to European style slower, more relaxed dining and smaller portions that don't leave you feeling stuffed to the gills, you'll love it.

Okay... can we talk about Belle Vie Bistro for a minute?…read more The breakfast is amazing, the coffee is so good, and the atmosphere just makes you want to sit and enjoy your morning instead of rushing out the door. Needless to say... I'll be back. A lot.
