Wings were cold when I got home and opened the box. My house is literally a 2-3 minute walk from the restaurant. It didn't help that I watched the guy put half of the wings in the to-go container on the counter then about 6 mins later throw some more in before handing it to me to take. I want freshly-fried, crunchy, and hot (temperature) wings! Shouldn't be so hard to do at a chicken place. Baldy's fried buffalo wings are definitely still our go-to. read more

Just spent a couple of days in Bend. This place is under new ownership. Everyone was very friendly, professional and helpful. The food is sooo good! The Bonz (wings) and Bonzless (tenders) are delicious! The many different dipping sauces, the fries and okra (amazing!) super yummy as well! They have a fresh salad bar which is awesome! Pretty good, First time coming here. About $9 for their combos. Food took about 10 minutes to be done. Honestly not any business and I was in there for about 30 minutes and it was only one guy doing the wing challenge but no other business. They have a few "arcade" games. A sauce island with hot sauces, fry sauce (just 1000 island) ketchup ranch and more. A salad bar with one time pass. I will be returning, just don't know when. read more

Love this place! We hit up "chicken bonzzz" every time we visit Bend. Excellent value, delicious sauces, and high quality, juicy white meat. Salad has good selection and dressing too. All white meat chicken - so juicy and delicious! My favorite sauce is the buffalo cilantro lime. Ask them to toss your chicken in the sauce - they don't come that way unless you ask. They come as sides standard which is good too, especially if you buy extra for leftovers like we always do. read more

Good place for chicken strips and wings. I was disappointed to see that everything is disposable... forks, knives, cups even if you're eating in. You'd think being in Bend they would try to be more eco friendly and not serve Styrofoam... I did like that they offer a salad bar in one of their combos.. but then no real plates! They give you a plastic throwaway dish to put your salad in. I thought the chicken strips would be doused in the sauce or seasoning but the sauces are served on the side. Likely 3.5stars. The bone in wings were average. Not quite meaty enough and sauces not quite special. 12 wings were $11.95. Didn't really feel like they were worth a dollar a piece. Yellow walls, steel top tables with paper towel rolls. You order at the counter and they give you a cute cut out chicken with a number to place on top of paper towel holder! There is a dipping sauce station with ranch, ketchup and fry sauce. There are a few arcade games, one that had all the oldies on it like Donkey Kong! Good outdoor seating for the upcoming warm weather. Staff is very friendly with good suggestions. I think the company has responded to some complaints about disposable items. The cups for soda were paper today. Our wings came in reusable plastic baskets with wax paper. The cutlery was still plastic, but some improvements. I think this seemed like a great family place. It's hard to not like a chicken strip, but this place did it. Ug. So dry it was kind of hard to understand. And the sauces were all just out of the bottle sauces (bbq, sweet chili, Frank's, etc.) And served in a STYROFOAM BOX! My god, this place is like the shittiest chicken shack from the 70s came back as a zombie. The staff had the air of a prison work crew. The chicken at the Shell station is considerably better. 7-11, better. Why? Surely there's something else you can do with your life than abuse food and encourage people to buy it. Maybe this is "chicken with attitude"? I didn't get at all what that meant ... their tagline ... the only attitude this chicken had was exasperation. At being violently overcooked. My family and I love this place. We have a large family. 2 teenage boys, 2 girls and us so we usually come with a crew of at least 6. We always order the picnic deal which comes with 20 boneless or wings (we love the boneless tenders), 4 drinks, 2 sides (we always go with 2 sides of fries) and it feeds the whole family. For $40. And $1 beers. Can't beat that. And we get a salad bar or 2 as well. So maybe we spend $50-60 but could get away with a $50 meal to feed 6 with tip and no salads. Where can you do that in this town with the same ambience, cheap beers, and awesome sauces that they offer? Nowhere. This place is great! The only wing place in Oregon I can really compare this to is Buffalo Wild Wings. Buffalo's wings are way overpriced and don't seem very fresh. Chicken Bonz's wings are a little overpriced but the combos are great for what you get, plus the shoestring fries are awesome! The bone wings are a little small but they are fresh, have the right amount of crisp, and satisfy a wing itch. Highly recommend the garlic parmesan bonz! This time I order the 1/2 lb Burger, so good. The fries were even better!! This is definitely a great place for large groups and families. Has a great vibe, and a fun atmosphere. I would say the service this time wasn't quite up to par. The young lady took a while to ask the gentlemen I was with, what they were ordering next for their All You Can Eat Wings. She seem to be a little more focused on conversing with her co workers. There was only two tables, our's and another one with a farther and his daughter. That saying it wasn't busy so there really wasn't a excuse to take so long to check back with the next orders. Let alone to next check up on us at all. This place is Meh. I got a combo Togo with honey bbq and hot. The hot wasn't spicy, Honey bbq wasn't bad but all of the wings had barely a drizzle of sauce on them, the fries weren't salted so they tasted weird. It's all plastic and styrofoam flatware, which seems like a lot of waste. They didn't have any napkins for me to take with me since my food is Togo, who does that? And they don't have wifi!
