Chicken 4U in Warrenton is incredible. Their tenders are honestly some of the best I've had. Meaty and crispy in some bites, it's so good. The fries are that perfect thick crispy style I love, reminds me of carnival fries. Service was awesome too, super friendly and fast. Both our server and the other person behind the counter were great. It's a nice, modern interior, spacious, so tables aren't so close, fans going to keep everything nice and cool and the air moving, and some K-Pop playing on a couple TV's. Only small thing: they've got a brown sugar latte listed under milk teas, and the word "latte" can throw people off since it usually makes you think coffee. Not a big deal, I think just a wording thing. The server was really accommodating and replaced it with one of their Korean Iced Coffee's which was really nice. Other than that, five stars all day. Give Chicken4U a try last night and it was a good experience. Positives: 1. Taking into context how expensive all restaurants have gotten, it's a decent value. We got a decent amount of food for three people for $55 for a sit-down dinner, not including tip. We came home with leftovers. 2. It is not just a fried chicken place. There are other things on the menu, including sushi. 3. Everyone working there seemed very nice. 4. The restaurant is very clean and new inside. Depends on the Person: 1. The chicken without sauce on it was very bland, which my wife and son prefer, anyway. I didn't really notice anything different about Korean Fried Chicken than any other unspiced fried chicken. It's all about the sauces. 2. Things are seemingly made to order, which is great. But you've got to factor that into your expectation for your wait time. It took the same amount of time as a fancier sit-down restaurant as to get our food, which was fine, because we knew that going in, based on what we'd read. 3. They use the battered fries, which we love, but maybe some people don't. Negatives (for me, anyway): 1. They had two big TVs on, one muted with sports and one with the volume on with a channel that seemed to be all Korean boy bands. I have a thing about really disliking TVs in a sit-down restaurant, and having the volume on escalates the dislike to another level. It wasn't super-loud, but it still really makes the sit-down dining experience ghetto to have a TV playing in your ear. (And, yes, I did try moving to the other side of the restaurant, but it didn't really help.) This took the four stars down to three. We'll probably go back at some point. Hopefully, the TV's will be off, or at least muted. read more

Food was delicious! The yangnyum chicken is one of the best I've had. The our table got 2 whole chickens divided into 4 different flavors. They were all so good. Host was incredibly kind and efficient. This was the best Korean fried chicken I've ever had! Chicken was juicy and so so so crispy. The soy glaze was very flavorful. We ordered Popcorn Chicken Soy Glaze and Chicken Wing with Soy Glaze and Spicy Garlic. The spicy garlic was not very spicy but could still feel some heat. Also ordered the Cole slaw which was very good and crunchy. We ordered the corn hush puppies which were delicious. Also ordered curly fries which were nice and crispy!! Great portion size. I ordered 16 pieces of whole chicken. The 16 pieces came in 2 boxes that measured 3 inches by 6 inches and was 2 inches tall. There was 1 wing and 1 drumstick in each box. The other pieces were so small and heavily breaded. There were neck and back pieces that had no meat on them. I have bought chicken from many different places and could recognize each piece. Not this chicken from Chicken 4U. There were bone shards in the pieces and the meat at the bone was black. We could not eat it! $50. in the trash. This was first time we ordered from them and will never again. I will tell everyone that will listen how horrible this chicken was. read more

Love this place! The restaurant is always very clean, the owners and staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. I'm thrilled that they have expanded their menu to include more Korean entrees and banchan. Everything I have tried so far has tasted fresh and yummy. While the bibimbap is a personal favorite, I can also recommend the tteokbokki and the chicken. They also have a great selection of Korean drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks. So happy we got a KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) spot in Warrenton. The co-owner waited on us and was very friendly and informative. Had the wings and chicken strips. Both were on point and delicious.. Great flavors and crispy texture like you'd expect from KFC. The hottest flavor they have starts at a medium and builds its way hotter. It still was a good balance of hot and flavorful. Highly recommend eating it there as it is never the same when you take it home. Still good but the sauces will always take most of the crunch that you will love away. Was excited to try this place out and finally got the chance today. Wasn't busy when we went in. The inside still looks very similar to the way it was with the previous restaurant. It was a little confusing on if we were supposed to sit down and order or order then sit down. Anyways we went to the counter and were asked if we were dining in or getting it to go. We said we were dining in and the lady took us to a table. We ordered our food and were told it would be about 20 minutes. After waiting awhile the waitress came out with our food but took it to the table next to us. The wife started eating some fries off the plate when the husband told her to stop because it wasn't what they ordered. The waitress walked the food back into the kitchen and a minute or so later came back out with the same food. I asked her if it was fresh food since the lady next to us had eaten fries off the plate. She said it was but I know it wasn't. She asked if we wanted them to remake it but it would be about 20 minutes. I said no and chose not to eat the fries. The chicken was pretty good. We went with the four wings fries and salad. I guess the salad was coleslaw but it tasted pretty good. Overall the food was decent but the service needs a lot of improvement. read more

Tried Chicken 4U for the first time tonight via take-out. Called in our order and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. Got there at 25 minutes on the dot and had to wait in line for a bit. I was impressed by the inside of the restaurant, it was very accommodating with several tables and very clean. The cashier at the register was giving out a variety of sauce samples to the people at the front of the line and was a little oblivious that there was a line of people waiting to place an order or pick-up their order. Once I got home with our order, we checked it all out. Chicken was nice and crispy as well as the onion rings. Curly fries were limp and wet but still tasty. The cole slaw was great. The chicken aside from being crispy was okay. We were a little put off by all of the tiny chicken bones in the breast pieces. Every bite had a tiny bone in it that made eating somewhat treacherous and my children gave up pretty quickly. We will likely give it another try after they've been open a while and work out all the kinks. Happy there's another place in town to eat. read more
