Checked Yelp to see if there were any Vietnamese restaurants in town and saw this new spot. I ordered the Summer rolls, beef Pho w/ steak and iced sweet jasmine tea. Everything was delicious. The Pho was especially wonderful. I ordered a large Pho and the portion was generous. I had to take my leftovers home. The only criticism I would have is that the steak was a little tough. I would expect a little better quality of meat, like maybe shaved ribeye. I'm going to give them 5 stars for the taste of the pho alone, because it was that good. Interior was clean with a good amount of seating. Menu is small, but in my option that is good, because it keeps food quality more consistent. I just discovered that Warrenton, VA finally has a dedicated Vietnamese restaurant - Pho Le! I have no idea how long it has been open. I visited on a cold Wednesday afternoon for lunch. After looking over the menu - which is not very large - I ordered a large Pho Ga (I specified white meat only - but am not sure whether one needs to do that or not). The bowl of Pho Ga came out in a few minutes steaming away, The plate of aromatics was a bit lacking in the quantity of bean sprouts - so I requested more bean sprouts - which they immediately delivered to my table, The Basil was slightly less than fresh. I tasted the broth before adding the aromatics, It smelled and tasted yummy! I added the Basil, bean sprouts, a few slices of Jalapeños, squeezed the lime wedge in - and went to town. The broth tasted delicious! Nice flavor and complexity! The noodles were not clumped, I destroyed the entire bowl - adding squirts of Sriracha sauce to many of the bites - as well as the broth. Tried the pho with steak, pork wontons, vermicelli noodles with pork bang mi. The pho was incredible, will come back for that! I've had better banh mi sandwiches in the area but still enjoyable. read more

New Pho restaurant in Warrenton that offers a tasty Vietnamese option. We had the summer and autumn rolls, chicken pho, and the combo (beef) pho. The service was ok, two young people that could use some additional wait service training. They brought us water to start, left us to review the menu, it was 15 minutes before the other male waiter returned to take our order. The male waiter was very friendly and well mannered, the female waitress seemed to be annoyed and I noticed her eating and licking her fingers behind the counter. I don't know if she washed her hands, but I'll move on... The menu includes Banh Mi sandwiches, but unfortunately they didn't have any Bahn Mi on our visit and they didn't inform us of that before we started to order. This could be a great place, but they don't seem to be paying attention to all the details of running a quality restaurant business for the prices they are charging. I'll go back and give it another try, but I'll be sure to reduce the tip if the service hasn't improved. read more

Pho Le - Vietnamese Near Me - Warrenton, Virginia

I stopped here because I wanted pho. The have 2 sizes. Large or small. I ordered large with extra bean sprouts. Their large is like a small in other places, which was ok honestly. I also got other things, so no big deal and even by its self its still a good sized meal. I wasnt able to finish half my broth. Additionally the small bowl made it pretty hard to put the sprouts in, especially the extras I ordered. So that was annoying. We ordered the autumn rolls, chicken skewers, and some mango sticky rice as well. Everything was... ok to good. It was fine, no real complaints but for 1 thing. It wasnt blow my mind fantastic but it didnt suck. Well... most of it didnt. The pho was ok. Portion small, price was... ok, they give lots of bean sprouts which I loved, and I got extra as well. The broth could use some work... it just didnt have much depth. The condiments helped but IMO those should be a bonus, not a necessity. Meat was good, tender, plentiful for the size bowl i feel... The autumn rolls were interesting! Ive never had rolls like that. There was a crispness inside... I think it was the meat, but im not sure how... with a toddler trying to grab everything i didnt like... take time to pick them apart. It was like chicken skin kind of crispy. Very delicious. That was the best thing out of the items we ordered IMO. The chicken skewers were tender, juicy, and good. Not fantastic, but good. A solid choice. I ordered them for my toddler and he loved them. They maybe could have been a bit bigger for the price, but the taste was good. $9.45 for 2 little skewers that probably didnt even equal 3 full oz of meat for both skewers i bet... He ate all of them and loved the sauce that came with them so whatever. It was a win. After he finished the chicken he used some of my bean sprouts to dip in the sauce. Frankly whatever gets you to eat veggies, im all for. ‍ We ordered the mango sticky rice. Now here's where the good went down hill. Im not a fan of the mango being served in the skin, but I could deal with that. Just take a spoon and scrape it iut no big deal, but the rice... and the coconut cream stuff... the cream was weirdly clumpy like it had separated a bit maybe? It tasted ok. My toddler liked it, I was meh about it. The rice... the rice was colored green, which ok... some places color their mango sticky rice so whatever. Not a fan of the COLOR pf green that it eas which was clearly artificial but im also not totally against artificial colors (maybe except reds?) But the rice its self i think they microwaved it to hest it up... the inside was way hot and almost fused together and dried out. Classic signs of microwaving. My question really is... why... just serve it cold at that point. Better texture than what they served honestly. My toddler was NOT a fan and he likes rice, and sweet things. He ate the mango and stuck his nose up at the rest. Also not a fan of the crushed peanuts on top, but ive seen other places do that as well. Now some other note worthy things that were more... inconvenience to me than anything else. They dont really have a kid friendly menu IMO. Just a very limited menu. They do have dishes that are served like grilled meat with white rice, and they do have kids pho, but most toddlers aroubd here arent feeding themselves pho at 2 yesrs old effectively unless maybe theyre closer to 3. Even then... so for our purposes that sucked. Id have known if I spent more tine researching but we had just come back in town from a long trip ao my research was....where can I get pho in Warrenton. I saw the name and knew there was another Pho Le in I think Manasassas with a much more extensive menu that has pho but also has other noodle dishes and fried rice. Overall, im wishing I had gone to Fang Thai who also has pho, though ive yet to try theirs... mainly for better options for my toddler, but im not like... horrified or anything. So... yeah. It was... ok. Im leaning more towards 2.3 stars than 3 but i can't half star something on here lol I do plan to go back one day and try their bahn mi, and the grilled meat on vermicelli to see how that compares to other places. I'll admit I was hesitant to try Pho Le Restaurant because the pictures online didn't look great and honestly seemed a little sketchy. But I'm a pho junkie, so I had to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did. The reviews really don't do this place justice. It's clean, cozy, and very tasty with a welcoming vibe. I love the simple menu that focuses on quality choices rather than an overwhelming list. The staff is friendly, helpful, and happy to answer questions. The pho itself is on point with rich broth, fresh toppings, and generous portions. For my personal taste, it had a bit more clove than I prefer, but I've had it that way at other places too. And for the record, I still ate the entire bowl. I love supporting small local businesses, and this one has definitely earned a spot on my weekly rotation. Give them a try and be sure to tell them Steve was wrong about the clove (haha). read more

We a got the Autumn Rolls - what a neat combination of spring rolls and summer rolls. Delicious. Then we got Chicken Pho Noodle Soup and Beef pho noodle soup with brisket and meatballs. Unbelievably flavorful broth! We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. read more
