Day trip to Prescott and wasn't quite sure what I wanted to eat. Prescott and PV have tons of options and I ended up by Court Square and had read the reviews so I took a gander. I was the only customer in the restaurant. I was greeted and given a menu (there is a menu board but I couldn't read it because my sunglasses are polarized...:/. There are several varieties of chicken and waffles but I chose the classic chicken and maple. The restaurant itself is nice sized with tables and that's about it. There is a coke machine and ketchup packets as condiments and straws but no utensils, which are brought out with the food. Food arrived hot with two generous sized chicken tenders, really nicely spiced and breaded. Fried just perfectly where the chicken was nice and tender and juicy. The waffle has bubbles throughout it and honestly reminded me of less sweet funnel cake. The maple syrup was perfect compliment to the spices on the chicken. All in all really good and a nice portion (could have finished it all but I would've been in a food coma and I still had to drive back to the verde valley!) (Twice delivered & twice in the restaurant) The quality was better when it was fresh in the restaurant, but great delivered...especially considering we live about 30min from the location. One of the most impressive things about this place is how immaculately they keep the restaurant. They're constantly cleaning and making sure everything is spotless. Service is 10/10 every time. Our orders have been fresh, delicious, and ACCURATE. They always provide sauce and utensils without us asking. When I ask my kids where they want to eat, it's always chick-in-waffle. The owner/operator answered all of my questions and made excellent suggestions. I had the chicken and bubble waffle with maple syrup, and some chicken tenders to go. The chicken is juicy and crispy and fried to perfection. The bubble waffle is light and airy and flavorful and a perfect complement to the crispy chicken. This place had some high ratings, and I was curious how it was compared to the one in the Mesa area. Well for starters this location was very clean! I felt like there were more options on the menu, and the staff was very polite and friendly. I ordered a chick-in queso, i was debating ordering a garlic Parmesan, but got the waffle one instead and it was amazing! I do wish it came with 4 or 5 more cuts of jalapeño, but it was still perfect. Eating the waffle covered in syrup afterwards was the perfect touch. I should have ordered desert to go, but people started to come in more and more. Next time I will definitely get a desert option. I got a sweet tea with it, it wasn't a traditional flavor, the flavor was different, I couldn't quite put my hand on it, but it's a flavor I've had before. It was still really good all the same! Chicken was cooked perfectly, crispy outside, juicy inside, bathed in the sauce. Both sauces were good...garlic parm a bit on the salty side. When we ordered, he paused to let the kichen know I ordered bone-in wings as they take a bit longer and get them started. We also had the buffalo chicken cheese fries. Excellent. Could have had a little bigger pile of those seasoned fries under the chicken and those sauces. We followed up with the Oreo Bubble Waffle dessert. Very YUMMY! It was interesting to note that the place was very clean, in fact, when not busy and no customers at the counter, one or two of the staff were cleaning and restocking, emptying trash, etc. You never see that these days at fast food places.
