Wow....this location is Amazing!!!! The decor is festive, service is quick and attentive and the food is (as always) well done and prepared with love and handled with card. While my kids are in their 20s, it was such a joy celebrating my nephew and nieces birthdays here at Chick-fil-A. I wasn't sure what to expect but the staff at every level were fun, attentive, and an absolute joy to share the morning with. This place gets PACKED at lunchtime so if you're not ordering off the app you're definitely not doing yourself any favors. Unless it is that you like wasting precious time, then by all means keep ordering the "old fashioned" way, just do me a favor and step aside as I glide right past you all, Lol. Plus they source smaller breeds of chickens in order to avoid any health concerns which are consistently found in the larger [steroid injected] birds. Plus absolutely no antibiotics are ever used in any of their animals raised for human consumption.    So now that we know all of that it's no wonder why Everything that comes outta this place always tastes so juicy, tender, moist, and flavorful. I ordered my food online when I arrived. I put in my spot number. I waited 30 minutes for my food. It was cold then upon the employee bringing the food out she proceeds to go to other cars to ask them if they're me when she got to me I asked her before you come out don't they tell you the vehicle in the spot number and I advised her that I didn't appreciate her walking around in the parking lot looking for a car which she should know where the food goes. She pretends to say whatever you'll be OK, which pissed me off cause I was already upset that I had to wait 30 minutes and now you can't even find my car with the correct food so I proceed to go inside ask for a manager, which she whispered in the managers ear, not sure what she said, but I know it was about me then what came out her mouth was I didn't get smart with you. She did and yes, I did get rude because I'm asking you, you're going to the wrong place you're carrying my food. Customer service was horrible . I advise her manager of her actions. Her manager and coworkers thought her actions were OK. This was awful for what she did and thought it was OK. I was very upset. This review is for the curb side. Food is good duh it's chickfila lol. However, curbside is soooo slow. Second time ordering curb side and it's always a long wait 20+ minutes (ok first world problem but when you know it doesn't take that long to prepare an order of food already made, it's a long time. When you attempt to call them to see what's going on, you can't get through to an store representative only a VM. Anyway, the only reason the review sits at 4 stars and not 3 is because whomever brought my food out had a 6th sense and anticipated I would be hangry. So he proactively decided to put extra hash browns in my bag and a chickfila card for something else. Great customer service!! Turned that frown into a smile LOL. Now if only they could correct the wait time for curbside that would be excellent. So happy it's finally here!! I've eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner at least once since their opening in early December. I haven't been disappointed once. Food is always fresh and they always get my order correct. Definitely try their milkshakes if you haven't ever had one - the cookies and cream is my favorite. Every Chick-fil-A location I've been to has always been busy. You can either wait in line, or order through the app on your phone. The key is to order your food on the app instead of waiting in line. Looked like the young man who took my order did not want to be at work. I placed my order for the 12-piece chicken nuggets for to-go and paid. It took a while for my order to be ready. I received my order, left the restuarant. Halfway down the parking lot, realized I wasn't given any sauce. My guy did not ask me what sauce I wanted and I completely forgot to ask for one. But I shouldn't have to ask since sauce comes with the nuggets. I went back in the store and the young lady was quick to give me the sauce. Other than that, this location is nice. It's only been a few years since I first tried it. Before that there were none in my area. It's SO DELICIOUS!!! Today I had the spicy breaded chicken sandwich with pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. It was epic!!! I would have preferred a grilled chicken knowing it's much better for me but they didn't have any. What's up with that? I didn't even get to try the food! I went to their opening event which was listed on Facebook as having a start time of 5pm. When I arrived at 5:30pm, I was told that The line had already been cut off at 5pm and that I had to show up before then in order to be eligible for the promotion. This is the 4th time I've ordered from Chick-fil-A in Wayne and every time I've been disappointed. I understand that during COVID things are definitely much different but their lack of communication is unbelievable. Case in point - I ordered today for my son and I off the app to pick up. The app gave me my pick up time. I showed up to pick up and waited outside with a few other people as there was a huge sign at the door that said no entry. 10 mins later still no food. It's now 15 mins after my pick up time. Finally someone went into the store - all of our orders were waiting there getting cold (no heat lamps). We got our food which at this point was barely warm. Finally a Chick-fil-A in this area! This location is a good as any other I've been to serving quality chicken with a smile. I went a couple weeks after opening and am always surprised at their efficiency and ability to get people out the door without making you feel rushed. Everyone I interacted with took the time to make sure my order was correct, and they did so in the most pleasant way imaginable. Be advised, I'm writing this in a state of suppressed rage. I don't even know if people look at Chick-fil-a reviews. Ok, I get it's a busy location. I can easily forgive missing or incorrect items. I can forgive waiting a long time for even a pickup order. What really got me on this last pickup was being blatantly ignored. So I pickup my order which was faster than usual. I noticed my drink was missing. I returned to the pickup line to find No one behind that counter (which is separate and not visible from the main counter). I wait for someone working pickup to come. Another customer (Class III Karen) comes and we wait together. She tried calling out to a male employee in a blue shirt who walked by. He glanced over at us (rookie move) and quickly averts his eyes. He does what he was doing and quickly scurries around the wall to the back so we couldn't see where he went. A red shirt female employee comes over to a nearby sink and starts to wash her hands (good). She shamelessly looks over at us to which Lesser Karen calls out to her (pretty sure she flagged her down too). THE GIRL LOOKS US DEAD IN THE EYES and walks away. The kid who originally gave me my order walks by to which I call out to him. He reluctantly comes over and I tell him what we were missing. He tells Lesser Karen that she could get her dressing from the main counter and runs off before helping me. After 10 minutes of just standing there letting my food get cold another female employee finally shows up apologizing left and right. She immediately starts calling out pick up order names at which point I have to interject myself and tell her I'm missing my drink. ( I'm standing here with a bag of cold food lady). Really excited that we finally have a Chick-fil-A in the immediate area! They opened right in between CAVA and Shake Shack and have the perfect crispy chicken that you have come to love from the other Chick-fil-A chain restaurants. Since they just opened they do have a long wait time that I expect will improve over time. Mobile order sucks, gave them 2 shots, lunch and breakfast. Placed lunch order last week well enough in advace for them to be prepared. They have you check-in on the app when you arrive. Stood inside for roughly 7 minutes waiting, medium traffic inside. Ordered breakfast today and instead tried the feature where it automaticly reconizes when you are arriving, and they pre-prepare your order. Same wait time, im the only person waiting, quiet inside no lines, one girl out of the 2 preparing orders was on her phone, sandwich was not hot, but tater tots were. My sister used to be a great fan of chick-fil-a so the morning of her birthday I decided to surprise her by bringing her there. I was very disappointed to witness how slow the service was and practically waiting half an hour for 2 sandwiches. Mind you it was not busy what so ever and there were many people that came in after us that received their food first. Just to top it off the workers worked slower than sloths and could not care less. They messed up on three orders including ours. My husband and I were very excited for this Chick-Fil-A to open up in Wayne . I have been a long time patron of Chick-Fil-A since I was a young child and my parents would buy us , my brother and I Dinner or lunch at Chick Fil A at there Woodbridge mall location and we would also by there employees lunch or dinner too, for all if there hard work . When I live in Georgia I was blessed to see so many chains available. Once I came back to New Jersey Woodbridge was to fat away to travel to get my favorite meals . Morristown and now the Wayne establishments are close by and by the looks of are thankfully very successful. Wayne location is excellent, exceptional, clean & very friendly. The atmosphere and decor are very nice . My favorite meal to get is 12 piece chicken nuggets and fries with a soda . The Wayne location is very convenient for me as I am in Wayne a few times a month and will definitely stop by each time I'm in town . The nuggets were done perfectly as I like them . The staff is friendly and by the look of the crowds waiting to come in all seemed satisfied. We will definitely be back .
