I really do enjoy Chik-fil-a , and I have had many items there with no disapointment, but I recently stopped for breakfast and had the Hash bowl with sausage, and a fruit cup, and my order came to $9.75. $4.99 for the hash bowl with sausage , eggs and cheese, and $4.09 for the fruit cup. Now If you've ever had the hash bowl It's small, and not only that they dont even fill It up. It's probably one scrambled egg and a few tots with some cut up sausage. Now to sell this they either need to fill It correctly or upsize the bowl for the price. Otherwise all else Is good read more

Good but overpriced. My grands always need double meals as the nugget portion is small for hungry, sport players

Spent the better part of an hour waiting in line once you are in that two lane merging to one there's no escaping it.If you are going to subject us to this the very least you can do is get the order right! Unfortunatly what was read off to me was not in the bag and I didn't realize it till I was home.At that point you couldn't pay me to go back through that process .Should have gone somewhere else for the time it took could have had a sit down served meal at chili's at a lesser price will remember that in the future read more

"Friendly Drive-thru Service" I made a quick run into Lowes, which is behind Chick-Fil-A. Then I went to the drive-thru before heading back to work. The woman working in the drive-thru was so friendly and courteous, she actually caught me by surprise. I partially forgot what I was going to order after her friendly greeting. But we managed to get through it. I had the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich with a small superfood side dish. The chicken was super tender and juicy with a well seasoned crispy fried coating. It was on a fresh bun and topped with crispy lettuce, red ripe tomates, pickle chips, and a slice of pepper jack cheese. The superfood side is a healthy alternative to fries. It's a broccolini and kale salad with dried sour cherries, roasted mixed nuts, and a maple vinaigrette. Excellent little side dish. I didn't expect everything to be so fresh and delicious from a chain restaurant, but apparently, Chick-Fil-A is making it happen. read more

The food is always good. That said, have ordered the Market Salad to be delivered (by DD) 3 times in 20 days, 2 out of 3 times no dressing. They remember the granola, but no dressing. Unacceptable. Train your people better Chic F. Never had a problem when picking up. So must be something with delivery orders. BTW, this just happened 20 minutes ago. read more

This is a typical Chic-fil-A, not that I'm an expert. I tend to avoid fast food unless on a road trip. We stopped in here for just that, on our road trip from Boston to NYC for a quick bite. I looked up the secret menu for Chic-fil-A on the way... You can tell I starving! I ordered the fried chicken club which subs in the fried chicken for the grilled on the club sandwich. It was pretty good and the staff was very accommodating, and even a bit excited by my order. If you eat in, they bring you your order and not only that, the owner himself bussed our table. He wouldn't even let us take our tray away and this was late on Friday night. We heard him asking a customer how his meal was, and the customer asked him if he was the manager, and he said, he's the manager, the owner, the busser, the dishwasher, the janitor, etc. Now that's dedication to your staff and really sets the example for your team! I was really impressed. Even the other customer asked if the pay was high since all the staff members seemed happy to be there, which they did. The customer service here is really impressive! read more

The line wasn't too long so I stopped for a late lunch grilled chicken sandwich. The service was good with the person taking the money close by in a little shelter. He was friendly and quick. The grilled chicken sandwich was not good. The chicken was cold so the sandwich was like individual items propped on top of each other. The chicken by itself tasted good but the bun was weird with a weird crumbly texture and no taste. I also ordered chicken nuggets for my son. They were horrible horrible horrible. It looked like little tiny chunks you might find in a fried rice dish. Not big enough to be called chicken nuggets. They tasted bad too. Not a good value. For what I got it was kind of expensive too. read more

Look, politics aside, this is the best fast food chicken I've had period. This stop is pretty easy on and off back on trips down the Merritt. I even adore the small ice cubes for the way they cool. Nuggets or gtfo. read more

We tried Chik-fil-a for the first time after hearing so much about it, for so long. We weren't disappointed! We went through the drive-thru, the person who took our order was incredibly nice. We really liked that once we arrived at the window, our order was repeated by another upbeat employee. We made a very large order and we received everything- and everything was delicious. Crispy chicken sandwiches, fresh toppings and the buns were on point. We'll definitely make the half hour drive again! read more

Pricey for KFC. It's very disappointing that I have to type extra words for Yelp but tasted exactly like KFC, was pricier than KFC. Had a far longer wait than KFC. All in all, this place could do better lowering its prices and shortening its wait times. I won't bother waiting for a KFC knockoff again. read more

This was my first experience at a Chick-fil-a and I will definitely be back. We knew it would be busy as this is only the 2nd or 3rd location in the state and the grand opening was earlier this week. That being said I still couldn't believe how many cars were in line for the drive through! They certainly were prepared, a police officer directing traffic and several staff members taking orders from the cars. We opted to try our luck inside and I was glad we did. The line moved quickly and the staff inside was extremely friendly and welcoming. They are very kid friendly and helped us find a table and set up a high chair in no time. Even with a full line out the door our order was ready within 15 minutes. We ordered chicken nuggets, waffle fries, a chicken and bacon sandwich and milkshake. The Nuggets are bite size and much smaller than BK or McDonalds. In this case bigger is not better, these little nuggets were crunchy and much more flavorful than the typical fast food joint. Their honey mustard sauce was my favorite, I was not a fan of the BBQ sauce it was a little too sweet for me. Their chicken sandwich was even better, quality white meat and exceeded expectations. Mid way through the meal a staff member even came over to refresh my soda! The only problems I had was with the ketchup and milk shake. They have these fancy containers that you can rip and squeeze or dip the waffle fries into. I couldn't get the squeeze side to rip and resorted to dipping instead. The milk shake was fantastic however it was too thick and couldn't get it through the straw. Halfway home after melting it became easier to consume. Bottom line I am a fan, and will "Eat more chicken!" read more

Chick-fil-A - Eat more chicken - Fast Food Near Me - Wallingford, Connecticut

This Chick-Fil-A is my favorite. The food is typical for the chain. The menus are detailed with price and calorie count for items. The not only have delicious, great quality fried and grilled chicken, but also some great salads. What sticks out for me is the fast and friendly service. The staff is very helpful in any way possible. I watched the store manager/owner(?) carry a man's tray for him to the table because the customer had a cast on his arm. They really go above and beyond here. Closed on Sundays. read more

4/4/18 After this, my second, and last ever visit to any Chick Fa Lay, I've learned my lesson. I went through the drive thru today and ordered a spicy chicken deluxe and a Chick fil A deluxe sandwich. I opted for the fruit cup upgrade over the waffle fries that are standard fare. The young woman that filled my order was as pleasant as you've heard they are at any of these franchises. She also spent more time correcting, and politely apologizing for all the errors in my order than it took to fill it to begin with. She read the items I ordered OUT LOUD from the computer screen as she put the wrong items in the bag, THREE times. She forgot the fruit cup that I ordered in place of the fries, she put the fries in anyway, and forgot the cookie I ordered. Stoned or stupid - your choice. RME (Rolling My Eyes) I'm really glad I checked the bag before leaving the window. Ok, I finally got the order straightened out, and when I got home and opened the paper box containing the spicy deluxe sandwich, I found it with no top half of the roll. How the heck can anyone not notice the roll isn't there when putting it in the container? JEEZ! It also looked like it had been tanning under the heat lamp for several hours. The cheese was translucent, and the chicken was long since dried out, having suffered from third degree sunburn. Anyway, this experience has completely and permanently soured me on Chick Fa Lay. Good bye Chick Fa Lay! Maybe next time I'll try a Chick Fa Eat..... read more

Great customer service as they bring the food to you either as an eat in or a take away customer. The place is always clean and it doesn't have that gross odor when you walk in compared to other fast food places. I can't comment on the drive through, but it looks like it goes by quickly! read more

Love ChickFilA, but this franchise is not on their A game. Worker forgot to give us straws in the bag. Then we had to come back because they forgot a peach shake too. Food quality was good but errors persisted. MD fries needed a topper. Ordered a no pickle sandwich and they put pickles on it. Even had the no pickles sticker on it. Relatively harmless this time but next time it could be an allergy. read more

I usually come to chick fil a and tell them I have celiac and they make sure my food is not around gluten. Today when I went I told the lady in the drive through please make sure it's not around gluten I have an allergy and she acted as if it didn't matter. She paused and said yes fries are gluten free. Come to find out an hour later I have a gluten allergy. They should be more careful for people who have allergies. Don't think I'll be going back. read more

Fix your long lines in the cold problem & make sauces more accessible. Once you do that, I'd happily make the long drive to come here. Despite the long line in the cold weather, it did actually move in a timely fashion and the staff was really friendly (as is typical of a Chick-Fil-A). It took what felt like ages to get my sauce & the girl behind the counter was confused when I presented my calendar card to get my November mystery offer so perhaps a little more training may be needed but the experience so far was fine. Why is it that they don't set out sauces here with other utensils like they do at the Chick-Fil-A restaurants in NC? That would have made it easier or for that matter, the girl behind the counter could have asked me what kind of sauce I wanted for my nuggets & put it with my order instead of making me have to ask some poor employee to go on a Polynesian sauce hunt (because I can't eat the nuggets without their awesome, renowned Polynesian sauce). read more

I love Chick Fil-a, and now it's the only place I can even enjoy a fried chicken sandwich. Try the original #1 sandwich dipped in Polynesian sauce. Thank me later! This location serves it up fast and fresh. I don't go with any of the grilled chicken sandwiches or the salads. I consider myself a fairly healthy eater but just do yourself a favor and stick with the fried if you're coming all the way here! read more

Chick-fil-A - Couldn't wait to dig in! - Fast Food Near Me - Wallingford, Connecticut

Nice new location. CFA is investing its resources to deal with the huge business of the opening. The line was long but it moved very quickly and the food was delivered lightning fast. Because it's new it is very clean. The staff are seemingly well trained and for a business that's been open less than a week, they have clearly gotten their staff on the right page. I heard no complaints from any guest during our visit. read more

Unfortunately it hurts to put this so low but this has to be said. The last couple of times I have gone to this Chick fil a have been less than ideal. My meals have continuously been delayed, it's taken been mistaken, and I don't know if it's just me but the portions have felt slightly smaller. Our last straw was December 17, I got a grilled chicken sandwich meal and my girlfriend ordered a mac and cheese, we asked the worker if we could get it extra baked with the crust hardened. After a 10 minute wait in the drive through, we got home and we're deeply disappointed with our order. Unfortunately the grilled sandwich was a bit cold (6 min car ride home) and the mac and cheese was in less than ideal condition. It wasn't even baked. The cheese seemed like liquid and it felt almost lazily thrown together. I don't usually write reviews but it was almost saddening to see. I really liked this place but this and a few other less than ideal visits make me lose hope. read more

I've been here about 5 times now, and I think the food is pretty good. It's a little more expensive that most other fast food places, but the quality seems better. The drive thru is usually slower than I expect, but they make up for it in friendliness. read more

This location used to be good, now they seem to always get an order wrong, and they must be having staffing or management problems, since the lines never seems to move anymore. Twice, I've given up, backed out, and ordered food down the road at Five Guys. The "chicken wars" are such these days, you can get a great sandwich at Popeyes, Wendy's, and a host of other places now...if Chck-fil-a doesn't get a handle on service, people will just get into a habit to drive by... read more

This location consistently has the best service & freshest food. The service factor is huge the manager routinely comes by and asks if you need anything and if you're food is to you're liking. In the nicer weather the drive thru is staffed outside (as in they stand next to the two ordering kiosks and outside the pickup window) with super friendly fast service. I live in another town that has a Chick-fil-A but prefer to drive further to have food from this location because simply it's better. Fresh flowers at the tables is also a nice touch. read more

Easily the best Chick-Fil-A in the area. The staff are always so friendly (and not just because of the company's customer service trainings) and hard working. They never have a back up in the drive thru because they're just so quick. And the food is always cooked to perfection. This place has it down to a science and it's always a pleasure to pull through. read more

The location is good. The food is yummy! I appreciate the fact that Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sundays, it shows that the owner and employees honor Sunday as Reflection Day and that they are religious! Not once have I ever had any issues with the Wallingford location. All the employees and the bosses are kind, empathetic, and they truly appreciate their customers! You never have to worry about being ignored. The employees always greet you with a smile and a warm welcome! I enjoy eating at Chick-Fil-A, and will continue to be a loyal customer of theirs! You get your money's worth - the prices are reasonable. I suggest you go to Chick-Fil-A; you will not regret it! read more

Chick-fil-a was a special place that my family and I visited whenever we traveled down south. Now they opened more stores it's not as special anymore but it's great that we can enjoy it anytime we want. The food is awesome, the staff at this location is great, the kid play area is fun for the little ones, and they have a nice outdoor seating area. If only the pricing was a little less but if you ever tasted their chicken nuggets or chicken sandwich you taste buds will thank you and beg for more. read more

I do not miss living in Connecticut, but what I do miss is living 5 minutes down the street from this glorious Chick-Fil-A location. I was in Wallingford this weekend for a friend's stag party and knew I needed to get my fix. I pulled up in the afternoon and instead or ordering at the regular drive through they had employees taking orders and then handing you the receipt. Chick-Fil-A has always gone above and behind to make the customers happy and today was no difference. I was in and out in under 3 minutes and that was during a rush. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with those delicious waffle fries and both got an A+ rating from my mouth. I will continue devouring as much Chick-Fil-A as possible anytime I'm in a 30 minute radius of one. read more

I have been to this location a few times, and really it's the only Chick I have been to. The staff are very friendly but I find their food sub par. I had a chicken club on Saturday night and I received a chicken patty between a bun. They were very attentive to dress up my club. The chicken didn't seam fresh, or maybe overcooked but lacked that juicy flavor. Not much meat to their chicken nuggets and they let people stand in line without shoes on?? Kudos to having a stool in the bathroom for small kids and my daughter does love receiving books instead of a toy here (Plus the small play area.) read more

Not all Chick-Fil-A's are created equally. In the North, CFA come few and far between. The service here was sub par. Was at the drive through for awhile, and would've been there longer had I not "Is anyone there???" Into the speaker. Then, when got to the window, she was inattentive, looked confused when we asked whether our soup was in the bag. And the final straw was after saying Thank You, we didn't get a "My pleasure". *clutches pearls* But for the consistent goodness that is the divine poultry of CFA, I would've thought this was a McDowell (CTA) version of Chick Fil A. read more

I don't get the hype. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and some of my wife's fried spicy chicken deluxe. I heard good things about their chicken and we all know how bad grilled chicken is at other fast food places and I must say this was the same as the others. A little dry and rubbery. The spicy chicken was good but no better than Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich. Waffle fries tasted like every other French fry and if you get a woody because it is waffle cut than so be it. Service is friendly, place is clean (it's also only a couple of months old) food was just standard fast food no complaints other than I thought the chicken would be better than the other fast food and I didn't see it. read more

What... is... all... the... FUSS ABOUT?! It's a chicken sandwich. A bun, a piece of pretty decent chicken, and two pickle slices. The waffle fries are different than regular fries because they are shaped like waffles. Mind blown... This is the new America, where people go absolutely gaga over a brand spanking new way to have the same mediocre, nutritionally-bereft crap food at reasonable prices. It also happened when Sonic had its own Central Connecticut honeymoon a few years back. People went insane with anticipation, the lines were impossibly long, and the reviews were such that you would think they were for Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. By now you already hate this review, because it is as grumpy as it is contrarian by its very nature. But I assure you that the public will eventually return to its usual sensibilities. I'm sure I'll have Chick-fil-A again, though probably no less than a year from now, because it's just not worth the wait. "You just don't get it." No, I get it. It's a solid sandwich. But I'd much rather go to a local fried chicken place and get my fix there... for a similar price too. read more

I used to go to Chick-fil-A quite a bit when I was in Philly. The Northeast is a bit of an unconquered territory for Chick-fil-A. Imagine my delight when one opened up close to home. Unbelievably friendly service is a bit of a trademark with Chick-fil-A. I am so used to terrible service at fast food joints that it is almost a bit odd to be smiled at from the cashier's counter from Chick-fil-A. Overall there was great service, very fast and efficient. The fresh flowers on the table were a nice touch. The workers were walking around every few minutes to wipe down tables to keep the place very clean. They would come by to ask customers how the food was and if they needed anymore sauce. Such attentiveness is unique among fast food places. After I ordered, they delivered our order to the table. Also I am Asian and cheap and asked for less ice with my softdrink. They were quick to remind me that though it is not self serve, there are free refills on drinks. They did it in friendly tone that didn't quite say "I see through your Asian cheapness with the less ice trick, so chillax woman, there be free refills, you can have coldness and value" The food is typical Chick-fil-A, which means it's rather good. The chicken nuggets are made with real pieces of chicken, not process chicken skin fried to beef tallow like many other fast food places. I go crazy on the dipping sauce and pretty much ask for 2 packs of everything. The spicy deluxe chicken sandwich is good as always. Overall this is a solid addition to the neighborhood. Still wish they were open on Sundays. read more

Usually I have very good experiences with Chick Fil-A but I was highly disappointed this morning. My husband arrived at 10:05 in the drive-thru line with about 5 or 6 cars in front of him. The line moved so slowly that it took him 25 minutes to get to where he could order and then at 10:30 on the dot he went to order breakfast and they told him they would not let him order since it was 10:30 and told him he should go to Southington instead. Very very disappointed in this place and the customer service. read more

Chick-Fil-A has quickly become my favorite fast food restaurant, and for good reason. First off, the service is top rate. I have NEVER had someone who wasn't friendly, smiling, and a pleasure to talk to. Its a breath of fresh air considering most other fast food places have intimidating or just unfriendly staff. Second, the food is great. The chicken is juicy and the right amount of crispy, they have waffle fries, and the shakes are great! Third, the atmosphere is lovely. Each table has a vase of flowers, it's well kept and clean, and the decour doesn't look dated. I've enjoyed this place every time I've come before today, and know I will continue to love it every time after! Highly recommend. read more
