My go to place if I want a good chicken sandwich. I always order the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich. Usually I get the waffle fries but this time I got the Mac and cheese with bacon. Stopped at the Wallingford, CT CFA while driving from MA to PA and got some chicken nuggets and a Diet Sunjoy (1/2 unsweetened iced tea and diet Lemonade). This is the first time I have had a negative experience here and I am questioning if I will go back again. The gig taking the orders was new and said he was in training yet there was no one actually training him. He had to get someone twice to help him with the order and they did not stay and watch him to make sure order was correct. My husband and I went to the table and sat down. The order did not come and finally after a while my husband went to check at the counter. They stated they had no idea what happened to the order and had to make it again. The sandwiches were supposed to have no pickles. One was correct and the other was wrong. They made a new sandwich and I went to put mayonnaise on it. The first pack of mayo was ok but the second shot out a bunch of oil. When asked we were told they are all like that. No, the first pack was fine. Then after looking at the paper with the food order it had two drinks and a water. The water was never ordered or received. We asked for ranch and the house sauce and there were also two buffalo sauces which we never asked for. When we paid for the meal the guy told us oh the register is out of paper so I can't give you a receipt. This was a complete cluster f.., and not a good experience. After always passing Chick-fil-A locations, and seeing two long lines of cars wrap around the building it was time to see what the hype was all about. I ordered a Chick-fil-A deluxe sandwich that came with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickle chips. I added bacon to it. I also ordered a medium side of waffle fries. When my order arrived at my table, they included a free breakfast sample sandwich which consisted of a scrambled egg on a delicious crunchy biscuit. Chick-Fil-A are known for being a well run franchise with exceptional customer service. I did find that to be true. It's chick fil a. But this location is slower than every other location. I put in a mobile order and it took 29 mins to come out. The manager wasn't even sorry. I used the mobile because the drive thru will keep you stuck for 20 mins. I missed 2 innings of my daughter's game because they can't get it together here. This place was amazing. The staff was A++. The food, breakfast was perfect. Portions were good, not too much. And the quality on par.

I was there when this location was drive thru only in July 2022. Based on the signage, the dining room should be open by now. The drive thru process was quick and a well oiled machine - it took longer to pull into a parking spot and sort out the food. They even gave us an extra sauce, very kind! The chicken itself was good, although a little stringy personally. Definitely real as opposed to over processed chicken you may find at other chains. read more

Ordered a simple meal and waited 50 minutes for my food to arrive expecting the app to tell me my food was delivered. It was sitting on my doorstep getting cold while the app was still saying its arriving. Not only was my food getting cold but the bag was ripped open at the bottom and thrown on my doorstep. Chick-fil-a is my favorite fast food joint due to the taste of their food along with friendly efficient service. This location is no exception. They know how to keep the lines moving without skimping on quality or service. You should download their app because you can earn points to use towards free food plus it saves your orders so it makes it easy if you want to order the same items each time. My favorite is the original chicken sandwich and waffle fires (with a diet Dr Pepper!) but sometimes when I am watching carbs I will get the grilled chicken nuggets and side salad. I've tried most of the items on their menu and none have disappointed. It's nice to know there are big companies out there that help young employees develop and understand the importance of good customer service. read more

I'm a big fan if the Spicy Chicken Deluxe. Each time, it delivers. It's cooked perfectly, has a good amount of spice and it's not oily or greasy. Delicious! Minor gripe: the fries were a tad underdone for my liking last time. When they first opened, it was extremely busy here. Most likely because there aren't many in the area.
