Had to pull up to wait for fries (hate that), lady comes out with the wrong order which whatever it happens. 5 min later, I just reversed to the window to where they didn't know what order I had. They figured it out but seriously, making people pull up and wait for someone to bring out the food is ridiculous. They get confused every time, no one's saving any time here. We are on a road trip and stopped at this Wendy's drive through to try their breakfast. As we pull back onto the highway and get into the bag not a single thing we ordered was correct. Biscuits instead of croissants, croissants instead of biscuits, a massive amount of some unknown sauce when we asked to have no sauce, Mayo, or ketchup added. Unfortunately, this is my first negative review on Yelp... but I felt it had to be said. During COVID-19, we know it's a privilege to be going out to get food from a restaurant. That being said, we expect a certain level of cleanliness and sanitation when we go out regardless, and even more so during a pandemic. Absolutely none of the workers at this property were wearing mask or gloves at the window, when exchanging money/food or prepping. We ended up tossing out our food because we figured there was no way it wasn't contaminated. Complete waste of time, money, and food. read more

Just stopped in for the newest sandwich, Big Bacon Cheddar. One word~~DISGUSTING. Nothing like the commercials, when is anything like the commercials. Dried out flavorless meat. Really bad smell to it. Just disgusting, took a few bites and threw them away. Worst $14.36 I ever spent. Worst idea to stop there. we never go there anyway because things are never good, cold buns, dried out meat, etc. but thought why not give it a try. I know, I know...I'm reviewing a Wendy's. My standards for fast food are admittedly pretty low. I'm usually hitting them up on a road trip and I just need something that will provide some sort of substance. The food here is exactly that, but everything else was so, so bad. First off, when ordering, they mentioned that they had a seasonal fruit cup option for kids meals...and I thought "Great!" Then I heard her telling the man in the back to make sure they took out all of the moldy strawberries. I quickly asked them to switch to french fries. I'd rather my kids eat french fries than moldy fruit. Second, after getting the kids set up at the table, I went to get the straws, napkins etc. When I got over to the supplies, it was covered in ketchup, there were no actual ketchup containers to use, nor any napkins. In addition, I also noticed that the garbage next to the station was literally overflowing. To top it all off, my 3 year old son announced he needed to go potty. As I brought him in, there was literally a pool of water around the toilet...and the soap dispenser had no soap. Luckily it had an air dryer, and not paper towels, as I'm sure they would've been out of those as well. I suppose if you're just using the drive thru, this place wouldn't be terrible as the food was your average fast food quality. However, I don't ever plan to step foot in this Wendy's again. read more

I usually go here for breakfast. Horrible service. I went through the drive thru and there was 2 cars in front of me. I was in line for 37 minutes before I reached the window. I finally got to the window and the woman screamed welcome to wendys how can I help you. First her English was horrible I said can I order a white milk and a biscuit with egg and bacon no cheese. This woman said our soda machine does not work. I said I want a white milk she said oh chocolate milk finally after about 3 minutes we got the milk situation taken care of. Now for the sandwich.....lord that took 5 minutes. Then I get to the window and she parked me. Please put someone in drive thru that speaks and understands English. read more

1 star, only because you have to rate with a star. In general, Wendy's isn't bad at all. But not the case for the Meriden location. EVERY SINGLE time you go through the drive thru- you're asked if you can wait a minute & a minute turns into several minutes. EVERY SINGLE TIME. This is the worst Wendy's I have been to. Today, with one car ahead of us we waited an extended period of time before even placing an order at the drive through. Then, we were not given our chicken wrap, a spoon for our frosty, a straw for our soda, or ketsup. We had to ask for all these things before driving away. Thankfully we checked our bag. Our sandwich was cold and I got a half carton full of cold fries with no taste. The service was unfriendly and disorganized. What a shame. My problem is not with the food so much, instead it's the service. If there are at least 3 cars in front of you in the drive-thru, then expect the be waiting for at least 10 minutes... this is the slowest location I have been too. Unfortunately there are not a lot of Wendy's in the area, but the staff at this location do not work efficiently or quickly at all... read more

Typical Meriden Wendy's. Just as I expected. They got my order wrong 6 times! Six! And not to mention they filled up my drinks only halfway, and forgot something I ordered. I walked inside and asked for what I actually ordered, and they still gave me something else. I gave up and asked for the sauce, spoon, napkins, and straws they forgot to place in my bag. Being an international franchise, the tastes are consistent. But mother of God, is the service different. Sat in a drive thru line for 20 minutes as EVERY car was asked to pull into a parking spot and wait. There were 7 of us parked waiting for our food... of course we already paid so we were a low priority. Everything I got ended up being stock too. My Dave's double wi5h NO pickles, had pickles. And my medium fry was put in the bag upside down...you are not 5 guys... Or maybe the employee dropped it carrying out 15 meals into the parking lot. Drive thru, I always eat french fries first. They were stone cold and not even done. Should have turned around and asked for cooked ones. Women at window asked if I ordered BLT burger, I said No. Got home, you guessed it Blt burger. WENDYS I'm done with you. Most if not all franchises are poorly managed and under staffed. Usually leave something out of the bag at this store. Today I picked up a taco salad, drove to my office to find no sour cream, no fork. Hence, dry salad, etc. Wendy's also cut down the size of the taco salad in the past two weeks, and gives a tiny 1/2 cup of chili now with the half salad. The cut up burgers in the chili (that's the 'meat') are often in large pieces (1/4 of a burger). They have very good, affordable salad choices if they would just be consistent, and make sure items are in the bag. There is never a receipt with the bag now, so there is no way to call them back to reference the order. I will start using McD's a few doors up the street. read more

hey y'all. wendy's is my homeboy. this wendys is my brotha, my cousin, my man. without this wendys I think I would have died years back. today I called and this supa friendly woman said that even though they don't deliver, my grandmother could go pick up my food. straight up made my day. only issue is that this phone call alone sent me into a mid life crisis. at the end of the call I ended it with a friendly "I. Love. You.", however no response. does wendy's woman not love me? if she doesn't, who does? granted, I hung up before she could answer. but, I feel as if the staff could be trained by a brotha, cousin, man (or a woman we don't discriminate on yelp) to call back and say "I.
