Customer service is terrible spoke to a female manager (victoria or something along those lines) for her not to offer a solution. Went through the drive-thru waited 15minutes and by the time I had to order breakfast was over..breakfast is over at 10:30 and I pulled up to the window at 10:32 and the guy taking order said they cannot take an order for breakfast because it was over..they could have at least honored all the people waiting to order we can't rush the person in front of us or maybe next time they should have their employees outside taking orders like they usually do for lunch. When I did call and spoke to the manager she put me on hold. I rather drive down to Rancho where their customer service is so much better. Quite frankly, this particular Chick-fil-A (Upland) is the most frustrating location for me personally. The staff is nice but they constantly get my orders wrong! Occasionally, my order centers around a customer's food allergy issues yet they cannot seem to get the simplest request right. The most recent mistake was today (November 10th). Honestly, I simply walked out in frustration not wanting to wait for them to correct it. How many times I've arrived home to find they got the order incorrect only have to drive back to get the right item(s) and returned to a cold meal! Too many... I've only come to this restaurant a handful of times and EVERY TIME I come weather it's the drive-thru or ordering inside it takes on average 10-15 minutes to get my food. Every time. On my most recent visit in the morning the drive thru took 27 minutes and it was not crowded. read more

I recently moved to Nevada, were Chick-fil-a's are non-existent. On a recent drive back to California I spotted one and just had to stop. The Chick-fil-a in Upland was clean, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious as expected. The chicken strips are my favorite, tender, lightly battered, and full of flavor. The variety of sauces is also a big plus as I'm a dipper. Overall for a "fast food joint" this is as good as they come, and I will return. read more

This was my first visit to Chick-Fil-A. After hearing and reading so many positive reviews about it, I knew I had to try it while I was in California visiting family. Fortunately, this location was just off the freeway near the same exit that my relatives' home is. We were greeting the moment we walked inside. I love how simplistic their menu is. They have a good amount of choices, but not too many that it takes half an hour to decide on what to order (it's happened to me before, much to my embarrassment). I got the Spicy Chicken meal while the rest of my family got the regular Chicken Sandwich meal, a couple of chicken wraps, and a side salad. All with waffle fries and Chick-Fil-A sauce, of course. The food came out quickly. I didn't even leave to grab my usual two handfuls and ketchup and mayo! All of it was really good. The chicken sandwiches were juicy. I even noticed chicken juicy goodness dropping from my sandwich. The fries were crunchy and evenly cooked. The girl working at the front desk was very accommodating to my aunt from the UK, who kept asking for tea. The girl explained that they only have sweet tea and iced tea, but she'd be willing to dilute the iced tea with hot water if my aunt preferred. I kept trying to explain to my aunt that in fast food restaurants in the USA, tea isn't typically served. This ain't England! Even though it wasn't an ideal choice for my aunt (who ferociously abstains from soda and other sugared drinks), she got the hot diluted tea, the next best thing. That young girl knew what she was doing. All in all, I'd make Chick-Fil-A another go-to fast food spot. It's not as great as the reviews make them seem to be, but it is pretty good. We've never had a reason to complain about nor criticize any Chick location. The ones in Orange County and the San Fernando Valley are well run and serve great food. However, we visited the Upland location this morning and fan into a very nasty, incompetent and snarky woman named Patricia. She has some problems with English and got 2 (we ate sandwiches and came back a second time for shakes) orders wrong. She obviously wasn't listening and had a awful attitude right from the get go. Even when we called the botched order to her attention she never said she was sorry or that she'd fix what she did wrong. Instead, and to our surprise, she just turned her back and walked off. We were stunned to say the least. Hollie finally took charge of the situation and corrected the problem. Don't bother coming to this location - else you'll run into the single meanest and nastiest order clerk in Southern California (Patricia) ... travel on down to the Azusa store - they care about their customers there and have very kind and friendly workers. Took my grandson to eat and play. While he was in the play area I noticed a little girl who wore a diaper that was overly saturated and urine was leaking out onto her pants bottom and legs. Reported it to the manager and she had an employee check to see if any urine was on the the play equipment. The employee didn't see any and therefore didn't clean. I as an manager would have cleaned the equipment as it was brought to her attention by a customer. She said the cleaning solution was strong. Needless to say; I didn't let my grandson return to the play area. I am very disappointed. read more

I literally never go to Chick-fil-A, maybe one time the whole time this location has been there. My daughter and I sat at this Upland location yesterday (around 3:15pm) while waiting for our ride. One of the employees (I wish I got her name) was cleaning the lobby, when she saw my daughter practicing how to snap her fingers. So the female employee stops and plays along, asking my daughter to "teach her how to snap". The girl snaps and acts so excited and "thanks my daughter for teaching her how to snap". She asks if my daughter is allowed ice cream (very respectful considering most people don't ask the parent first) and brings out an ice cream cone for her. I've heard about how important customer service is to Chick-fil-A but I never really witnessed it myself, due to the fact I don't go out to fast food very often. So I'm not sure what the issue is with this location but they never meet the mark of every single other chick fil a my family and I have gone to. First when I order several kids meals with nuggets and several adult nuggets and you ask me what sauce I would like and I say chick fil a and there's probably 30 nuggets and several fries in the order... I might want more than 2 sauces guys! I mean man I am used to McDonald's being tightwads about their crappy sauce-but literally EVERY other chick fil a location gives you sauces in mounds compared this this location. Second thing why is it your nuggets never seem to be breaded fully, the fries are always soggy and when we went recently for my kids dine out it all tasted bad. I don't get it. I can't say I have been satisfied with my recent visits to this location. On Wednesday night, I came and ordered a 4 piece chicken strip entree for here. And when I received my food there was only 3 strips to be found. I decided not to make it a big deal and didn't say anything. Then on Thursday night, I came here again with some other people and ordered a 12 piece chicken nugget meal to go. Come to find out when I get home they never included my food in the bags. I'm from Vegas and stop by SoCal about two to three times a month.... I grew up with Chick-fil-a in the South and I miss it sooo much!!! They don't have any in Vegas!?!? So I make it a point to visit them just about everytime I'm in SoCal. This Chick-fil-a is run very well, it's always very clean and the food always comes out fast and fresh! I love the fact that they offer wheat buns and the fruit and other healthy options. But the simple fact is that I don't get to eat it as much so I usually go all out with a Large Sweet Tea and Large Fries with my Original Chicken Sandwich!!! I also love the nuggets and the fact that they have all the sauces out for you to choose. And if you get a chance to try the breakfast try the Chicken Mini's, they are defiantely worth it!
