After being stuck in nearby Riverside traffic, I was almost certain that I would miss my late evening flight. To make matters even worse, I was concerned that if I did not miss my flight, I wouldn't be able to eat dinner until I arrived home. Thankfully, I made it to my gate with 10 minutes to spare before boarding ending. I did a quick scan of my surroundings and saw a golden halo around the Chick-fil-A that was literally next to the gate. I probably looked like a frenzied mess as I approached the counter and was warmly greeted by an employee named Esau (I learned that this is a character in the Bible) who took my order. As I awaited the arrival of my order, Esau explained the meaning of his name and the role that Esau played in the Bible. Inadvertently, this conversation -paired with Esau's calm demeanor- really calmed my nerves. Next thing I know, my order was ready as my boarding group was being summoned. Have to absolutely review what happened. Was waiting for flight and decided on Chick-fil-A in airport. Ordered grilled nugget meal. Got order went to my terminal and they were fried instead. Took them back to fix order and they replaced No problem however they put the ones I gave me (that I opened and touched) back on the shelf with all the other food coming out. I stayed a bit and they loaded food up behind and next to it. I had to leave before it was handed to someone. In retrospect I should have said something but I can say I was not happy about the lack of care and will not be eating there again. read more

I was greeted by the cashier with no smile, and she acted like I was inconveniencing her. The service was slow to get my food and there were multiple people standing around waiting for their food as well, all of whom were very frustrated. I waited so long that my flight started boarding, and when I asked about my food, the young lady who was moving very slowly to fulfill the orders basically ignored me. It seems like there's only one person in the back, making the food, they call shares are unfriendly and me person who fulfills the orders has zero motivation. Corporate should make a few visits to this location as it does not reflect Chick-fil-a standards in any way. read more

Chick-fil-A has finally opened at ONT in Terminal 4 (Domestic) by Gate 405. So happy they opened a location here because between the Subway, Einstein Bagels, and Rock n Roll Brews (recently renamed to something else) this is by far the best food option they offer here (Wahoo's fish tacos has officially closed. Open 8am - 6pm Monday - Saturday. So if your flight's on a Sunday, you're outta luck. Food: Food is just as amazing as any of their other locations and offer the same menu. Service: Cashiers were very kind and service was amazing. Served us our drinks first and called our names to pick up the order shortly after. Ambiance: Seating area is quite small with a couple of tables/booths that can seat small groups. Cashier waiting line wraps around the seating area. Expected it to be a lot bigger from what it looked like during construction. Note: They do not accept the Chick-fil-A ONE App here/Chick-fil-A rewards unfortunately. ***Late post from my Oct 2023 East Coast trip*** After my 16 days East Coast trip, I have arrived back home at Ontario Int'l Airport. After deplaning, I was hungry and decided to get take-out from Chick-fil-A. Yes, there is a Chick-fil-A inside the airport. There were a few people in front of me. I guess everyone was thinking the same thing LOL. When I got up to order, the lady behind the register greeted me, but without a smile. I don't know... I'm a smiley kind of gal, but not everyone may be and that's okay. I got the deluxe Chick-fil-A sandwich. I may have gotten some waffle fries, too, but I don't remember at the moment. Anyway, sandwich was very good... big chunk of chicken with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. If I did get fries, it was good, too. I would have remembered if they were not good. Anyway, one observation I had was when I asked for water, the lady just ignored my initial request so I had to ask again. She gave me a look. Okay, I still want my water LOL. I eventually got my water. Also I didn't get my receipt so I had to ask for my receipt. The manager or shift lead person came over... also without a smile and I got a look from him, too. I've never had such a disappointing experience at Chick-fil-A until I interacted with Jenna. She was incredibly rude, pushy, and condescending from the start. She placed the wrong name on my order and didn't say a word as I stood there waiting, even though she clearly knew I was the customer. I ended up waiting longer than necessary because the order was being called under a completely incorrect name. When I finally asked about it, she shoved it into my handstand without any apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was shocking. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Don't go here! Paid $65 for 2 meals and a dozen nuggets. Got my food.. they forgot to give me my nuggets. Went back to retrieve the forgotten nuggets and asked for another box (to split the nuggets between my two kids to avoid any tantrums). Just want to give props to the manager here, who had no issues accepting American Airlines meal vouchers! Multiple restaurants in the American terminal denied the use of vouchers. I'm not sure if this was a training issue about split charges, or what. But the person at the register here had no problem, and the manager came over and talked to us to make sure it worked. The food here is what it is. But unsure why they are so resistant to accommodating a simple request. Went there Saturday morning at the airport location after an early morning flight. There was only one other person in the restaurant. I requested that they cook the tater tots well done. The young man at the counter asked the manager and she informed me that they don't do that. When I asked why I as told we don't cook things well done. Interesting that an organization that prides itself on customer service can't cook something 60 seconds longer. read more

Food didn't taste bad when I had it but the next day my sister and I both caught a stomach bug from our meal here. We know cuz she has a pretty consistent diet and didn't eat anything different except for her chick-fil-a breakfast sandwich. Two days after our breakfast here and we are both still sick.
