Everything at Soup n Fresh is what was Souplantation. There's the clam chowder, chicken noodle soup, same fresh salad ingredients with most of the same dressings. The muffins taste the same but they're all rectangular shaped like how the chocolate ones were. There are baked potatoes and sweet potatoes next to the muffins, pizzas, and cornbread Desserts are still boring (jello, pineapple, pudding). Soft serve is ice milk which isn't our fave and we don't usually eat it. The soup selection is good and some different types (posole, bone broth chicken noodle soup to name a couple) . Service is great. When we were paying, we had seniors for senior pricing and coupons. The cashier was super smart in dividing our bill to give us the opportunity to get senior pricing and also use our coupons. (Thank you!!) The workers are constantly stopping by your table to remove the dishes off your table. I like that as it consistently gave our table room to go for 2nds or 3rds! The restaurant itself is pretty much set up exactly like how Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes used to be. It is clean and super busy environment. Parent with kids letting them run wile, please watch your kids. I saw one child who almost ran into a parent w/a tray that had 4-5 bowls of soup. Another child walked out of the restaurant and someone brought that child back in to find her parents! As for drinks? When it came time to go pick up my order, the parking lot was kind of busy, but manageable. The place was actually really busy and they were handing out orders in a timely matter. There's dining in options inside--and outside with cute little umbrella tables and chairs. I was greeted upon entering and gave them my name for pickup. They were still finishing my order so I waited briefly. Their menu is pretty extensive and they have a lot of drink and chip options. I ordered the Roasted Garlic Steak Chop which had romaine, garlic steak, celery, fresh beets, tomato, pickled onions and seasoned croutons. I also added feta crumbles. No fries, tater tots, sweet potato fries, Brussels sprouts, or even the mozzarella sticks are actually vegetarian-safe because they're all cooked in beef fat--which is just wild for things like cheese sticks and veggies. Yes, they offer Impossible patties, but most people expect to pair a burger with potato sides, and that simply wasn't possible here. Your only real options are pasta, mac and cheese, or salads. I completely respect restaurants having their own cooking style, but it would've been nice to have at least a few genuinely vegetarian-friendly comfort sides available. The staff were not overtly friendly. They were just very matter of fact, asking you whether you want rice or salad. The line was very long when we arrived around 6:30 pm but it seemed to move pretty efficiently. I was happy to see that none of the items I wanted were "all out" which often is the case when you go to a Chipotle or custom pizza place like Blaze. The only thing I noticed was that there was litter all throughout the restaurant since the workers appeared to be tied up serving and making food. We got a kids build your own and a bowl. They packed it in with everything we wanted. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Dinner was so refreshing. One of my fave items at Cava is their pita chips. I can't wait to go back!!
