Great burger every time. They have never messed up my families order. I recommend getting the fries well done.

Melissa did an awful job in the drive through and was very difficult to understand and abrupt. She didn't use complete sentences - I don't go to in and out a lot so when she said "car" I handed her my card.. no turns out she was asking if I wanted to eat in my car. Words matter. She also didn't know what was on the burger and made no effort to find out. I said I didn't want lettuce and tomato and asked her what else was on the burger and she said just lettuce and tomato. She seemed very frazzled and this wasn't even a busy drive through. The manager redeemed the experience, I brought my burger in and explained the problems with Melissa and the manager immediately got me a new burger and gave me a complementary meal for the next time I come in. So it does get three stars. They just need to look at who they are employing (also this was during school hours- so this was not a high school teenager, this was an adult working in job requiring communication, unable to communicate to customers). read more

We decided to come to this location last night because frankly it's one of the few places still open late at night. We ordered 4 burgers and 5 fries. The staff at In In Outs are always super friendly but I don't know what happened yesterday. When we received our food we double checked the bags for the items and we were missing a fry. We asked the lady at the window and she pushed back three times. She asked us to check all the bags which we kept telling her that we did. She annoyed finally went back in and grabbed the 5th fry and handed it to us. We checked the bag to realized it was thrown in and filled with half a serving. Then we got home we realized that there was a HAIR in my son's burger. This is not acceptable and we definitely won't be returning here. Coming home from mom's house, this In-N-Out is perfectly situated for a quick stop that makes the whole family happy. I had a grilled cheese animal style and Robin had a cheeseburger animal style. So fresh and filling their food never disapoints. The fries are amazing, and they are even better in the car on the way home. The dogs got burger parties with no salt, which the scarfed down quickly at home. The service is friendly and always willing to help and the restaurant is clean and inviting. 1 minute read: On our way to San Bernardino, this particular In&Out has become a habit. It's on the North side of the Foothill FWY using the "CAMPUS" off ramp in Upland. When we first began eating there, it, along with a Shell gas station, was the only building there. Now it's surrounded by other buildings. If you drive by at night, IN&OUT building is all lit up like a Vegas Casina (SIC). Now, THE BURGER: Nothing fancy but I WILL tell you this ~ it'll beat that foolishly boxed Big-Mac. Don't get me wrong, about the BIG-MAC. I enjoy one now and then. I just don't like my burger in a box. I was an Upland resident for many years ago. I usually go to the In-N-Out on Foothill Blvd between Benson Ave and Central Ave, but they are always busy and the getting in line situation is horrendous. Since this In-N-Out has opened up near the Colonies Crossroads, it is now my go-to In-N-Out when I'm in the Upland area. It is conveniently located off the 210 Fwy so it's easy access. There's plenty of parking. Funny, I don't recall ever going through their drive-thru yet... I will have to do that one of these days... things I find fun to do LOL. Since I stopped eating beef back in 2018, I usually just get their fries and shakes. However, I have recently found out that they have a Grilled Cheese (thank you to my Yelpie friend... you know who you are!)... basically, it's a beefless hamburger... that's right no meat patty, but with everything else... sweet! Grilled Cheese, fries, and chocolate shake is my standard In-N-Out meal. Food and drink are delicious and always on point! Staff and service are great, too. Exterior usually looks pretty well kept. One great thing is that they open until 1 AM or 1:30 AM in the morning depending on the day. In-N-Out is still one of my favorite burger experiences. It's always a go to burger option for us. It's always crowded but there's no wonder why. The menu is simple- burgers, fries, drinks, that's it. They don't copy everybody else when everybody else does salads, chicken, kids meals, Nope! They stick to what they know how to do best and that's burgers. Period! My go to is always a double double animal style. They got a lot of great options that are not on the menu you just gotta Google the In-N-Out secret menu. This is still one of my favorite fast food burger joints. It never gets old. read more

It's a family tradition to hit In-N-Out after we return from traveling. The fact they're open late really helps since we were returning from LAX last night. I wanted to stop closer to home and this location was the perfect option for us. They were busy, but not as busy as the typical lunch or dinner rush. It's hard to complain about In-N-Out although I have. Lol. But seriously what a great company. I really think the key to their success is the limited menu. Yes I know there's a "not so secret menu" but I truly think focusing on a few items really makes them one of the best burger joints around. Plus they stay affordable in comparison to other fast food locations. Today we had a group tour. The staff working this morning were amazing! So friendly and so informative! I appreciate the time they took out of their prep before opening to explain and show us the In-N-Out way. They work crazy hard!!! They prep everything from the onions, to the lettuce, tomatoes and potatoes in the morning prior to opening, around noon and evening. By the way, they have some of the largest onions, tomatoes and potatoes I've ever seen! Nothing like you see in the stores. I don't know if they're rushing too much but I've gotten completely wrong orders, missing items, and messing up orders. So I hit the drive thru because I was in the area after a waxing appointment. So I decided to try this In N Out. The line was long but it went pretty fast. I ordered my usual grilled cheese no onion, and a animal style French fry, with a drink. Everything was great. It was really fresh and tasted yummy. Definitely hit the spot. There usually is a long line but they really know how to move the line whether it's the drive-through or inside the store. If you want to go inside to sit down and eat it's pretty noisy. The wait times for drive-thru and sit down are pretty long, but the food is worth it. I am 70 years old, I have been going to In n Out since I could ride a bike there and loved every bite since then, at least until now. The below story happened twice now, about two weeks i ago I picked up In n Out for my wife and I from the In n Out at the 210 freeway and Campus. I did the drive thru, a Number 2 for my wife and a Number three for me. I drove straight home from there, we live two off ramps away at Archibald and the 210 Freeway. I walked in the door placed the food on the table and we sat and ate. The french fries were cold, almost like they had been sitting and the burgers were room temperature. I thought, it somehow must have been a mistake. In the past the french fries were still piping hot when I got home along with the hamburgers! Today, returned to the same location at the 210 freeway and Campus, I went back for lunch for my wife and I, this time I went inside. I ordered the same thing, paid for it and was given a number. I went and sat down while my order for my meal to be prepared. After a few minutes I found out our grandkids were coming over, so I went back to the counter to order them lunch also, I waited for one person in line ahead of me, I placed my order and paid for it. Just as I finished paying for my second order, they called my first order out and brought it to the counter. I picked up the order and the associate behind the counter said thank you, I told him I had placed a second order was waiting for that, he asked what number it was and I told him. He walked back and brought that order up, WOW, that was fast. Again, I drove straight home, when we sat down at the table to eat, again the french fries were room temperature and hard, the hamburgers were also room temperature. I am not just a customer, I am a fan, a big fan of In n Out, I wear your t-shirts, I wear the In n Out apron when I BBQ, I have read Lynsi Snyders book, The In n Outs of In n Out, I take my out of town company there when they come to visit, my grandchildren buy me In n Out gift cards for my birthday and Christmas. If this particular location is preparing food prior to being ordered (which may be the cause of room temperature fries and hamburgers, I am not sure), if that's what is happening, there plenty of other locations. Preparing food before it is ordered makes you just another hamburger stand in a chain of many, I apologize if that sounds harsh, but my experiences we not the same as the decades before. read more

My family and I, love In-n-Out Burger. The flying Dutchmen with whole grilled onions is my husband and my go to meal...the staff always greets you with a smile and very politely ask for your order.
