I'm sorry we slept on this location based on horrible experiences at the drive through location near Victoria Gardens. This location is a night and day difference! The fish tacos were great - hot, crispy, and huge! The drive through location for some reason seems to have fish pieces half the size, always messes up modifications for toppings, and never gives chilis without having to specifically ask. We decided to give the location near vineyard a shot bases on much higher Yelp reviews and being done with Rubio's from too many bad experiences. You would think this is a totally different company based on the service and quality. They should just close down the other store and stop wasting everyone's time! Even though we are farther away from this location, the tacos traveled better taking it to go than they do when the drive through location is about a mile from my house. I don't know why it's been getting harder to find good fish tacos. Like I said Rubio's is dead to us, La Bufadora has gone so far downhill it's not worth the drive out to South Ontario, and the drive through Senor Bajas seemed like a last resort as the best of the worst. We only go to places that serve tilapia, so it's sad they don't even seem to like the "T" word here. Honestly, tilapia is way better than mahi mahi and "polck" anyway. Mind you, they want $11.29 just for 2 mahi mahi tacos. Then, if you want a side of canned beans, some rice, and a super small drink, it's an extra $5.99. You're looking at $17 to $20 for two skimpy tacos, two mediocre canned sides, and a single, solitary delicious pepper that's salted and peppered. No thank you. We will not be returning. read more

Everytime I'm in town I always stop by, quality has not faltered. The staff is always friendly and the food tastes fresh. I ordered the fish taco plate and it came out piping hot. My husband and I have been coming here for many years. Yes, they're related to Taco Nazo. There are no tables outside but there's plenty of seating indoors. It's a casual place where you order first, put your number at your table and they bring your food out to you. You can also order online or cal ahead as well. Last year we used them to cater our family get together. We had ceviche and all kinds of tacos. Everyone loved the food. My fave is their fish tacos and I usually get the 2 taco combo which comes with rice, beans and chips. I got one fish taco and one chicken taco with an horchata for my drink. My husband ordered two fish tacos for himself. He's never been to Senor Baja before and he said he liked the food! Now I will say that their tacos are a lot bigger than I remember and they use a different taco compared to their past. But overall the food is still delicious! I have no complaints other than the price skyrocketing. It's $4.50 per taco now! A bit pricey, but at least you get a decent sized taco for that price. I had made an order through Uber Eats and the order was taking long to deliver. Called the driver and they make some excuse about not being able to find the restaurant. Found out later that it was not their first time picking up from that restaurant I called Señor Baja directly and they said my order was ready but no one was there to pick it up. They ended up remaking my order to make sure it was fresh. I canceled that Uber Eats order. And paid the restaurant directly. The fried fish filets are a good size and cooked with a balanced amount of batter; just enough for crunch and not overly breaded or soggy by the time they make it home.
