It helped as we were just stopping by for a quick bite My parents loved Long John Silvers from their past experiences with trips so they ordered food from there. I knew I was driving soon so having fried battered fish and chicken was not the greatest idea. I was right as it was not that enjoyable. My parents really held on to past memories of it being what they needed in the past. It just didn't land. I passed on that and sought after the A&W. I've had it once before and enjoyed it then, there's not many of them near where I live so I was excited for it. I ordered a burger, coleslaw and milkshake. The burger satisfied my urges for food and didn't make me feel bad. The large fries were only filled half way up.. so much for large order. The double quarter pounder had cheese on it... and one quarter size ketchup spot and 3 small slices of onion that's it. The other piece of meat had another slice of cheese on it and nothing else. After taking off the cheese the meat was so dry and lukewarm .... So much for dinner and spending over $12.00's. I thought the heat was going to come from the drizzle I could see in some people's photos but it comes from a dusting over the crust - which was a nice surprise. Hot, juicy, full of flavor with a heat level that did not disappoint. One of us would not opt for a hotter flavor and one of us thought this was enough heat Nice job - worth the money. Let's start by service, walked in and greeted right off the bat, very professional. My old GM was happy to see me; it's been a long time. I was not sure which one I wanted to try so I asked what one do they recommend, I was told the pulled pork was a great seller so that's what I went with. You have your choice of sauce; I did sweet over spice. Let me tell you for a fast-food place this was one of the most tender pulled pork sandwiches I have had in a long time. Very tender, that sauce, which comes on the side was delicious, a perfect combination. Now from what I am reading this is an Arby's exclusive BBQ sauce. Now you can't go to an Arby's and not get a classic roast beef, I got mine with red ranch, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and big eye Swiss. If you have never had an Arby's, you have to get one. Now I didn't stop there, I also got, and I do not know if it's limited or not, but they have on the menu their signature potato cakes. Just like I remembered. Waiting for my order when two employees had asked Manager Paula about scheduling. Paula began…read moreyelling at the employees and when they calmly asked her why shes yelling at them she continued yelling about how they are coming after her so shes just responding the same way. I stepped in to say, no they aren't, and im still waiting for my order. Paula acknowledged that my order was coming and then stormed off leaving her employees flustered and confused. A minute or two later she returned and continued to yell at the employees when they asked a clarifying question about the same scheduling situation as before. The situation repeated itself and when Paula left a second time I had a brief interaction with an employee where I asked for the managers name and said that it was super unprofessional of the manager to yell at the team in front of customers like that. So PAULA, good luck with your team running efficiently when you treat them like that over simple questions. The actual employees were kind and helpful. They were doing the best they could in a hostile work environment thanks to Paula trying to humiliate them in front of customers.
