Welcome to our Sunday, Funday, Food review everyone. Today I stopped at the Arby's in Scranton Pennsylvania, this is the last fast-food restaurant I managed years ago. It's great to be back, but this time I am trying their new pulled pork sandwich. They do have a new brisket sandwich; however, we will try that one at another time. Let's start by service, walked in and greeted right off the bat, very professional. My old GM was happy to see me; it's been a long time. I was not sure which one I wanted to try so I asked what one do they recommend, I was told the pulled pork was a great seller so that's what I went with. You have your choice of sauce; I did sweet over spice. Let me tell you for a fast-food place this was one of the most tender pulled pork sandwiches I have had in a long time. Very tender, that sauce, which comes on the side was delicious, a perfect combination. Now from what I am reading this is an Arby's exclusive BBQ sauce. Now you can't go to an Arby's and not get a classic roast beef, I got mine with red ranch, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and big eye Swiss. If you have never had an Arby's, you have to get one. Now I didn't stop there, I also got, and I do not know if it's limited or not, but they have on the menu their signature potato cakes. Just like I remembered. Now they offer a 3 spicy pepper sauce that just is a taste i cannot explain, all I can say is you have to try some. Until next time, be blessed and stay safe. Waiting for my order when two employees had asked Manager Paula about scheduling. Paula began yelling at the employees and when they calmly asked her why shes yelling at them she continued yelling about how they are coming after her so shes just responding the same way. I stepped in to say, no they aren't, and im still waiting for my order. Paula acknowledged that my order was coming and then stormed off leaving her employees flustered and confused. A minute or two later she returned and continued to yell at the employees when they asked a clarifying question about the same scheduling situation as before. The situation repeated itself and when Paula left a second time I had a brief interaction with an employee where I asked for the managers name and said that it was super unprofessional of the manager to yell at the team in front of customers like that. So PAULA, good luck with your team running efficiently when you treat them like that over simple questions. The actual employees were kind and helpful. They were doing the best they could in a hostile work environment thanks to Paula trying to humiliate them in front of customers. read more

They sold me a regular size shake for the price of the large, the sandwich I ordered only had half as much beef on it as that sandwich normally does and the staff were rude and unprofessional. read more

I am quite the foodie, so giving out 5 stars to a fast-food chain is honestly quite unthinkable. The five stars is for their excellent service, work ethic, and professional staff. I do not know who the manager is, but you can tell they run a tight ship and train their employees well. I go this location every so often around lunch and the drive-through is always packed. They team does a great job getting the customers through with ease. Keep up the good work. I hope you all see this! read more

Fries were so old and chewy. Was thinking about getting Arby's my whole road trip. Even the Coke was flat, very disappointed

Love my beef & cheddar sandwiches, but they almost ALWAYS forget my Arby's sauce. Plus one of the last times I went here, the drive thru was a complete nightmare. Love the food, but I hope the service has improved some. read more

I was very disappointed. My sandwich had so much pepper on it that's all I tasted. The wait was long and the drive up window was filthy.

Service is slow and manager is unprofessional. Newly remodeled but tables were dirty despite manager and staff sitting in dining room playing on phones. Chicken on sandwich was dry and obviously old despite having to wait for other family members chicken sliders to be made. I guess it was too much trouble to drop another piece. read more

Just ordered an Ultimate BLT, and was disappointed. I knew going in it would be on honey wheat bread, not my favorite white toast for a BLT, but I decided to make an exception. It really did have "enough bacon", as advertised, and the lettuce was fine. My disappointment was in the two very thin slices of tomato, one on each side of the sandwich. They were barely discernible, couldn't begin to hold their own next to all that bacon! For the price of the sandwich I would expect four slices of tomato so they at least cover the big bread. During the last two years of high school I came here in between my finals to grab quick bites. The curly fries were good and the sandwiches were decent. The nasty things that should be avoided is anything involving "au jus" or gravy. Why? Because they just put some soup powder in a bowl then pour hot water in it. Instant au jus can go to hell. Another thing to note is that the service here is terrible. The few times I've been there, the cashier was a white guy who was rude and messed up my order. AND he didn't even fix the mistake he made! This is THE slowest fast food ever. Every single time I come in wait in line at the drive through more than 10 minutes no joke. It's 8:30 at night and there was 1 car in front of me and like 2 ppl in the dining room. Why do I have to wait so long for my food all the time. This is like the third time in a row. read more

I recently went to this Arby's through the drive through, the person took my order as soon as I pulled up to the ordering section, they were polite, I ordered a double beef and cheddar sandwich meal, the girl at the window was very polite, my order was correct, and the food was very good. It was very fast and efficient just like fast food should be read more

Arby's are pretty much the same across the country - good, high end, fast food at reasonable prices. What separates them is the quality of management. I grab lunch from this location a few times every month and have always been pleased with the service. Once when they did mess up my order, the manager was quick to remake my order, let me keep the first one, and tossed in a turnover as a bonus. Service like that will keep me coming back and telling my friends. read more

I've gone through the drive-through a couple of times and ordered their roast beef and cheddar and fries and they were good. The girl in the drive-through was pleasant and I got my food right away. No complaints. read more
