The place is very military and first responder friendly and the decor show this with pictures of service members and others in uniform in action and it official portraits. I'm here for another month so after trying Super Chix I think I'll come back again. I tried the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and although it's not Prince's or Hattie B's (Nashville hot chicken institutions) it's a tasty enough sandwich! On your first visit you get a choice of free custard. My fave custard is Rita's so that's how i measure...the custard tastes more like ice cream. Definitely missing that mouthfeel i crave in custard. The chocolate is better than the vanilla in most custard places outside of Rita's and it's the same at Super Chix. Got a mintOreo fusion instead of a drink and it did remind me of McFlurry from way back. Cajun fries reminds me of the ones from Steak 'n Shake. I got it to go. It was slow coming out but the food was hot and fresh. There's also an impressive sauce station. Sauces were all pretty good. I'll update stars if necessary the next time as I'll try something different.

The concept and set up is actually pretty cool. Walk up window with outdoor picnic tables under a roof. Great for Florida. However, my husband, Son and I went to give them a try and we got our food in a sloppy manner. The teenage worker couldn't really answer any questions we had. Certain things weren't even available on the menu in this place is fairly new. The menu isn't even that big. The food wasn't terrible, but there was nothing that would bring me back either. The thing that turned me off, the most was as I was sitting at the picnic tables, homeless people were coming up to use their restrooms accessible from the street (since there's no indoor seating). This of course is not the restaurant's fault and it's very unfortunate but also un appetizing. This woman was in there, practically the whole time we were seated to eat. We also noticed people would just drive up and try to use the restroom and wasn't even patronizing the restaurant. I really hate it when I have to grab a key from a gas station when I'm on the road so I wouldn't want that to be happening at a restaurant where multiple people are touching keys after wiping their ass but something has to be done about people who are not customers using the restroom. I'd say a key code or something can be printed on every receipt. If the smartlock on my Airbnb's are changed with each new guest. Then the restaurant can come up with something like this as well. I wish them the best. I hope they figure things out as a newer restaurant with a cool concept, but I don't see myself going back.
