Customer Service is poor here. I went through the long drive through and got cold food!! The bun was upside down and the cheese was not melted. I called the store and spoke with the "Assistant Director" Stephanie. She was rude and laughing the whole time and didn't once address my concerns. Got a chance to visit this last week. We live a bit far from the store so we are out of their delivery area. We were in town so we wanted to visit the store. These folks have their act together big time! Traffic directors out front very quickly had us in line and moving forward. Orders were taken by staff quickly and accurately and we were funneled into the delivery line without effort. The line moved quickly around the building and and our food was waiting and hot. Oh, and by the way, it was SO good after all this time! The chicken was perfect, the Mac and cheese was excellent and the drinks were cold and iced. It made our trip into town so much fun. Their drive-thru system is so confusing 7 employees outside taking/giving out orders and standing around with no direction on a slow Monday night for what? No hate on their customer service, the drive-thru process just seemed inefficient compared to other locations I've been to. So overall, this particular establishment does a good job of navigating their VERY busy drive thru. It was seemingly moving at a decent pace. There isn't always someone to guide traffic, but when there is it is definitely more efficient and fair. However, today we went to order and I had asked if they had a military discount (because my fiancé is active duty). They responded only if you are in uniform. This is a disappointing rule because the corporation doesn't realize being in uniform all the time for one isn't realistic, two it can be dangerous for active military to be in their uniform in public, and lastly do retired military deserve nothing because they no longer wear a uniform. I think it's a disheartening rule that they don't seem to know enough about. While I didn't explain all of this to who helped us today because frankly, I know that it's not her rule, but the establishments rule. However, if whoever is in charge happens to see this can maybe see it from a different perspective they'll change it to show military ID. I'm not sure if every chick fil a location is doing this or if it is just the Oxnard location but for the first time in my life I am leaving dissatisfied with chick fil a's service. I'm surprised to myself, but for the first time ever they tried charging me extra for sauce! I had ordered a number 1 with large fries and large drink, a number 2 with large fries and large drink, an 8 count of nuggets, a spicy chicken sandwich (just the sandwich), and also an order medium fries on the side. When they asked how many sauces I wanted I said 4 chick fil a and 4 buffalo. I thought it over again and just to be sure I asked if I could have 2 more of each and they told me that they couldn't!! I understood at first thinking maybe I was ordering to many so then I tried to reason with them and ask if I could get them 6 chick fil a and only 2 buffalo sauces they still told me no that I would need to purchase a 2 OZ sauce instead. The breakfast menu (served till 10:30 AM) includes biscuit sandwiches, chick-n-minis, breakfast burritos, yogurt parfaits and hash browns. * Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuit breakfast meal ($4.19): You can choose a fruit cup or hash browns. It comes with coffee too. Oh, my, the chicken biscuit is a perfect way to start the day. The fluffy, tender buttermilk biscuit is the best I've had from a fast food place. And the chicken, wow, it makes most chicken seem bland in comparison. It's juicy, hot and tender inside, with a thin layer of slightly crunchy seasoned batter on the outside. I like how it doesn't have a heavy breading. Fast food chicken isn't supposed to be that good. The hash browns were okay - pretty golden discs. I guess second time is a charm for me... I wasn't completely impressed the first time I was here. I had the chicken nuggets and the whole meal itself was somewhat lackluster. Then the other day I was hungry and wanted something fast and just was not in the mood for Del Taco next door so I decided to give Chick-fil-A another chance. I ended up getting an order of 4 chicken strips with the waffle fries. They brought my order out to my table a few minutes later and wow...totally yummy. Hot and tasty fries to boot. And one thing impressed me more than anything. One of the workers there actually came over and asked me if everything was going ok and offered to go get me a refill on my drink. I dont know if they do that all the time but wow...I have never had a fast food place do that for me. Totally impressed. While I was here I noticed that there were a big number of CHP and Oxnard PD eating here. I guess maybe they are on to something. Conveniently located close to my work. Makes an easy and fast lunch when you are in a rush. Their drive thru lane moves so quickly. It's helpful that the employees can take your order and process your order at the same time ( if paying by credit card). Also, they move along as you do- keeping lanes moving. They've added a lane for the drive thru. I think it's rather complicated. Hope they go back to the single lane. I usually get the nugget meal. The wrap is good if you fancy a healthier choice. I have also tried the Cobb salad My favorite sauce is the chick-fil- A sauce. Need some caffeine? Try their iced coffee. Everyone is really polite and friendly. Chick-fil-a replaced over Krispy Kreme. I was introduced to a Chick-fil-a out in LA & was even happier they stuck one out in Oxnard. I love their service, it's so polite & they're always nice. There's a public parking lot, drive thru, & you can't miss it if you're on the way to the 101 South fwy. They sometimes have deals & if you're lucky, you can catch their cow out their advertising! :) Closed Sundays! As said, its your day to rest up & spend it with family. My suggestions? Breakfast: Chick-n-Minis! I wish they gave more than just 4?! Might as well buy more, it's worth it with their sauces. Same goes for their hash browns! It has the right crispy taste. Lunch or Dinner: Chicken Deluxe Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich, or Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Be specific if you want to add lettuce, tomatoes, & pickles. This place is wonderful, clean and friendly from the time you walk in the door. Look around. Everyone is happy. That's a sign of good management taking care of employees. A friendly employee by the name of Danny who works there, always checking if you need refills and brings you mints. Always cleaning tables and asking how was the food. Now that's top customer service. Food is always warm and perfect. My family enjoys eating here once a week, or sometimes twice. The wraps are great. Nothing beats the number 2 for lunch. Management has done a great job leading the employees. Cooks always look clean and that's important. One thing I did notice is every cook is always washing theirs hands and putting on gloves. Only thing I miss is the watermelon mint lemonade. Can't wait for it to come back. Chicken noodle soup is the best besides homemade from my mom. Keep up the good job! read more

One name to remember...Adam Herrera. I think he was the shift manager from the look of his uniform. I just went in to get some dinner(9pm pac time). Ordered a couple of sandwiches and he looked at me and said, "You fighting a cold?", I said yes and he put a bowl of chicken noodle soup in my bag on the house. He said that he just got over it : P If that's not epic customer service, not to mention extraordinary human decency to a complete stranger, I'm not sure what is. Well done. I've had several conversations that go like this (from when I lived in Westlake Village): Them--"You drive all the way to Oxnard for FAST FOOD??" Me--"You don't understand, it's Chick-fil-A!" Then eventually that person will go, and come back saying it really was amazing. I've exposed many of my friends to the Original Chicken sandwich with waffle fries, and no one has been dissatisfied. When I go, I get the spicy chicken sandwich and an original chicken sandwich, for variety. Extra pickles on both. The waffle fries are really good, always fresh and hot, slightly salted. I like every sauce except Polynesian and Honey mustard. The buffalo sauce is good with the spicy chicken sandwich especially, and the chick-fil-a sauce is good on anything. They have good lemonade here, and sweet tea as well. I really like how even though this is a fast food place, the staff is attentive and takes care of you. The service is unbeatable in the fast food realm. One time they forgot to put in a sandwich to a to-go order I was bringing back for my family. After I called them up to let them know, I was sent two free sandwich coupons in the mail. They really know how to take care of their patrons here. Never been for breakfast, but eagerly awating. Yes, being closed on Sundays sucks, but it just makes me want to go even more on the following Monday. read more

Even though I am married now, I was so happy when I ran into Chik-fil-A in Oxnard. I introduced my husband to Chik-fil-A but I didn't tell him about our past. Occasionally, Chik-fil-A and I get together after work. We are trying to keep things platonic, but the Chik gets me every time with those perfectly crisp waffle fries. My opinion of Chick-fil-a just went up, at first it was the food quality that keeps me coming back, now I find out they have Heinz ketchup packages that dip or squeeze, they have 3 times the amount of ketchup as the small packets you find everywhere else. Thank you for putting a little extra money toward the convenience for your customers. But that's not all, during this visit I noticed a woman dressed in office attire. She was delivering the food to the customers inside the restaurant and I stopped her asking if she was an owner because I wanted to compliment the ketchup packages. She said she is not an owner but works in the marketing department at corporate in California. She said she was here as part of their training program. I am elated to know that Chick-fil-a sends corporate employees to work in the restaurants. I believe that is one of the reasons the quality here is so good. Whoever is running things is doing an excellent job. Thank you Chick-Fil-a for operating like a real restaurant and not another fast food joint.
