I used to think it was good but... $5 for a sorry chicken sandwich??? The buns are plain school cafeteria buns and it's soggy 9/10 times because it's just having a spa day in the aluminum foil bag. The chicken isn't even crispy because it also decided to find a groupon deal for spa day like why?? No thank you. The waffle fries.. a controversial item in the culinary world. I'm very critical with my reviews, so believe me when I say that this place has got to be the best fast food joint I have ever been to. I come here quite often and I consistently get A+ service as if I were in a Michelin star restaurant. The food is also consistently very good, in fact the new honey pepper pimento sandwich was probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. My family and I found a new place for our stopover when we travel. I have not tried all of the available items here but it is not too late to do it. We enjoyed having breakfast here. The portions are small to my daily intake, I guess it is time to make some changes. Lol.The place is clean and organized. You can easily tell that it is managed properly. The coffee here is really good it comes with free refill. We sat here for awhile but did not feel rushed compare to other places we've been to. I frequent the Santa Barbara, Ventura, and this Oxnard location, and the Oxnard location's food is far inferior. It's weird. The food is just not nearly as good as the other two locations. There's a range of reason but one example is: a couple days ago, I got a sausage, egg, cheese, biscuit at the Ventura location. It was hot and fresh tasting--it actually looked like the menu picture--it was delicious. Amazing, actually. This morning, at this Oxnard location, I got one and it was barely warm, the biscuit was hard, the egg was sparse and bad looking. And it tasted how it looked: not very good. Another example is a spicy chicken deluxe that was so spicy (over seasoned), it made me ill (I like spicy, I usually add Tabasco to spicy chicken sandwiches b/c they are not spicy to me). Generally, though the food is not terrible--it's just never nearly as good as the high Chick-fil-A standards I am used to. The service is always nice, the staff are friendly and always working hard, and the place is clean--which really keeps this place solidly at 3 starts instead of creating towards 2 stars. read more

Please, please, please work on improving your drive thru service. It's in desperate need of process improvement. Customers shouldn't have to wait 15 min in line just to order. There are employees standing all over the place. 5 people at the drive thru window - 2 inside/3 outside - isn't working. I realize the parking lot isn't large but many other CFAs across the country don't have huge parking lots and they are far more efficient in getting people through the drive through lane. The food is tasty, employees are friendly but that drive through is a nightmare. read more

Spotless restaurant. Very clean and they have a wonderful breakfast menu. Love the egg white, chicken and cheese on a whole wheat muffin. Very good. Love the fresh flowers (yes! Fresh flowers, NOT plastic) on ALL of the tables. It adds a very nice touch. Plus used my free drink coupon that is on the Yelp app is always a plus. The people that work here really love their job. I love Chic Fil A so I'll never stop coming here, although I cannot come to this particular location anymore. When I say that they have messed up my order 4 times in a row via drive thru, and the other times delivery I just can't take the chance anymore of someone in my family ( especially my toddler) not getting their meal anymore. They are always very kind about it and take my name so that I can be inconvenienced to go to the front counter and give my name for a free meal but when is the real problem going to be fixed? On Friday I ordered food for the office and someone didn't get a sandwich. So what does that mean? That means someone doesn't get lunch. So I called and someone was supposed to send a meal and whatever else for the inconvenience back to my rewards and it was supposed to be there Saturday. Here it is Monday and I have to take time out of my day again to call and ask them to correct a mistake they made. Maybe I'll see it in my rewards tomorrow. If not I have to take time out of my day and call again. Save yourself the headache and just drive the extra miles to the Ventura location. read more

It's not often that I visit a Chick-fil-A restaurant, but when I do, I'm nothing but impressed with the quality of the fast food, the genuinely helpful & hard working staff, and the speed of service. The only reason that I don't visit Chick-fil-A often is because they're so popular and busy at all hours of the day. My most recent order included the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (with extra pickles) and Waffle Fries. The chicken was very moist, actually spicy as advertised, and the fries superior to their competitors. The sandwich is packaged in a bag with interior foil keeping it hot for the 15 minutes that it took me to drive to my lunch location in Channel Islands Harbor. One of my biggest complaints is getting fast food takeout and it's cold when I finally get to eat the meal. That's an issue that Chick-fil-A has solved to my satisfaction. read more

I bought a semi-large order last weekend and only ordered the chick fil a sauce which should've been about 15-20 given the size of our order. Get home and come to find they only gave us 5 and a lot of honey roasted BBQ. Great food and great customer service BUT they gotta crack down on how the drive-thru flows. On busy days there are 3 lines forming to enter the main line. Ive had cars cut the lines many times by them slicing through the parking lot instead of waiting in the lines like the rest of us. I understand the parking lot gets packed but some signs saying "Respect the Lines" or "Take turns entering main line" scattered around would be good. read more

We stopped in for dinner last night and the food was tasty as always. Staff was extra friendly and one of the things I love about Chick Fil A is how employees move through the dining area and offer to take your trays when you're done or get you a drink refill. It's this kind of extra service that makes this restaurant really comfortable to eat at. Last night I saw they had some coloring pages for kids too. The restaurant is clean, the restroom is kept well stocked and tidy, and the atmosphere is friendly. I definitely recommend this place for fast food chicken! One last thing - why are they still using Styrofoam cups? My waste hauler can't recycle those... I recycle my paper cups from other fast food joints, also the plastic lids. These cups I have to throw away and they go in landfill. :( Seems outdated. read more

Placed an order before 10:30AM for breakfast couple days ago, PART of the order was rewards. When arriving to location I was given the response "their system canceled the order." First of all as soon as we walked in we were greeted by one of the owners who was not only very friendly but he was wearing an eclectic breakfast attire which set the tone! Visiting from out of town, my dad said this is the perfect place to get breakfast before you hit the beach and he was 100% right! We had a five minute wait while they put the tables together to accommodate 8 plus a baby. The waitress was a total professional from her service to her upbeat and happy demeanor. My sister and I split the homemade corn beef and hash and banana walnut chocolate chip pancakes so we got a little bit of savory and sweet. The corn beef and hash was home made goodness, not to salty like some hash can be. I really enjoyed of the banana Walnut pancakes too. They were sweet and no syrup was needed. Not too heavy and well balanced between the bananas walnuts and chocolate chips. I am definitely looking forward to going back the next time I am in Daytona!! read more

I would recommend them to everyone. There salads, sandwiches, crisscross fries and there teas/lemonade are great. For me I like to get the Chicken nugget salad with avocados dressing, whereas my daughter loves there southwest style and we both get either tea or lemonade as it taste great. Might be on the pricey side but for me the salad is two meals most of the time and when you look at cost to buy all products to make your own, sometimes it is cheaper to have it pre-made and fresh. This is the best chick-Fil-a there is. They have girls outside taking the orders and moving the traffic very fast. We got through a Friday night line in less than 5 minutes. Everything was hot and perfect. Excellent customer service. It was such a smooth operation that I felt inspired. Whoever is managing this location needs to be training other managers how to run their locations. This was just excellent. I had taken my family to the Santa Clarita location on our last trip to SoCal. No one became a fan. I persuaded them to try it again last night- now that's where everyone wants to eat today. Stopped in this Chick-fil-A last night and they were extremely efficient. I got my food to go and shortly after as I was getting condiments on the side of the register, my food was handed to me. The staff genuinely seem to like what they do and they have great customer service here. I got the #1 deluxe combo and also got some nuggets. I don't frequent too many Chick-fil-As because I don't have too many near me so I never know what sauces to get. There's a bunch of different choices depending on what mood you're feeling. read more
