They recently were purchased by corporate. Ever since then they become very very slow. I miss the previous owner, it was an amazing store.

I took my daughter and toddler age son here last night - my daughter was craving their lemonade and it was her "date night" with me, so there we went! The parking lot at this chick-fil-a is a mess. It's huge and new but the drive thru snakes through it a few times and if you try to go into the little lot right by the building and there are no spaces you have to go back out onto Geoirgia Ave and loop around again. So we learned the first time to just park a little farther and walk. It makes the most sense and involves less driving around. When we got there (at 6:30 on a Wednesday night) the place was packed. It turned out they were having spirit night for a local school. I dreaded the time the line would take, and the thought of finding a table. It turned out the line was really fast and a table opened up right as we finished paying. The only downside I would say about the spirit night is that people need to teach their middle school aged kids to hold doors for others! I saw one kid drop a door on a pregnant lady with a toddler on her hip, and another dropped one on the three of us as we were coming in. But that's certainly no fault of chick-fil-a's!! The food was good, up to regular standards for semi-fast food. I had their chef salad for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at the freshness and quality of it. My kids ate nuggets and a fruit cup. The fruit cup cost more to substitute for fries, and it left a little to be desired. My very astute daughter surmised that the cup had been frozen and then thawed. The berries had squishy outsides and the color of the apples was off. So that was a bummer but not an enormous problem. If it happens again I will probably mention it to someone there. I like this chick-fil-a; it's clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful and friendly. And the lemonade did not disappoint!! read more

I love the Chick-fil-A food but I had the worst experience at this Olney, MD location. Placed a mobile order, got in the drive through line and the staff confirmed my order. Then came the wait... it took 20+ minutes to get to the window even though there were less than 7cars waiting in line. When I got to the window, my order wasn't even ready and seemed like they couldn't even find my order. so, had to wait another 5 minutes to get my order handed to me. this place used to have very efficlient, fast, friendly customer service but since the new owner took over, the location went down the hill. I will avoid this location at all cost and utilize other Chick-fil-A location going forward. read more

Great restaurant! And great service! I have always loved Chic-fil-A for their chicken! And I always enjoy their waffle fries and salax.

Fast, friendly service. The drive thru is always on point. The only thing I don't love is that they are not a fan of dogs outside. We live near by so we stopped over one time for breakfast while we were walking our dog. My boyfriend stayed outside with the dog while I ordered. The server brought us our food and sweetly advised us of the policy. I get it, they can't say no to some dogs and yes to little fur balls like our bischon. Oh well! read more

Would like to do a 4 just because I need them to be open on Sundays LOL but they are more than deserving of a 5. Food is consistently great and is what you have come to expect from the franchise. This Olney location is particularly great due to its staff. Always friendly and their service is above and beyond. They can have three drive thru lines backed up to Georgia and you will still be in and out of the drive thru is 5-10 mins every time. It's truly amazing how they work. read more

They always get something wrong with my order every time I go. If you're going to put a limit on how many sauces you can get on the app at least give me the ones i ask for when i select them. Employees never check on my mobile order for when i say no tomatoes or pickles and just put them on regardless. Always leave feeling disappointed by the service.. save yourself the headache and go to another location. read more

Not as kid friendly as I would expect for this specific location. I got kicked out of the kids area by the cleaning lady because i was holding my toddler's shake while he was playing. He is very anxious so i could not watch from a table from the outside. Leaving early upset him. I understand rules are rules but the lady was very grumpy and rushed us out. Not only is the restaurant clean but the bathrooms are clean, which is huge!!!!! I hate rate a Chick-fil-a 3 but this one just doesn't do it for me. First off aren't all employees of Chick-fil-A supposed to say my pleasure? Well they don't here and the kind of act like you're a burden not a pleasure. Second I always order a large fry but the amount of fries they put in there might as well be a medium. I hate it when people stiff me on fries. I always order a gluten free bun and most of the time it's either cold or stilL frozen. Not cool. The parking lot is a nightmare! Which most Chick-fil-A parking lots are, but I feel like this one doesn't try and make a strategy for less traffic jams. Their food is average Chick-fil-A food not the best not the worst. I will say they do not stiff you on sauces, which some Chick-fil-A do. If you haven't tried Chick-fil-A sauces you're crazy! The best in my opinion is Polynesian and Chick-fil-A sauce. I was very disappointed with my service. The manager who greeted me had a very fake smile and attitude. She just seemed very fed up with customers. I was explaining my food was wrong and when she went to fix it the employee who was bagging argued with her and said he hadn't bagged anything wrong and I was lying. When I had the food and the receipt to prove it. A lot of their employees were standing around doing nothing and talking. I was trying to wait patiently but the situation really bugged me because I got the wrong food and had to drive halfway back to the store to fix it only for the employee to say I was lying. The staff is so nice :) there are some time a we wait a long time for our food when we order carry out but it's ok, we don't mind that much. We usually order through the app for the office and it's fine. The drive in can take about 10 mins. read more

Very slow. Some workers aren't that nice like what someone would expect of a chick fil a worker. They will literally say the food is ready and is being brought out to you, but will leave you sitting waiting for your food from that point for at least 10 minutes. It doesn't take 10 minutes to walk from the door to the front of the store parking. Management should be more responsive about complaints or hire better workers. Everytime I come to this chick-fil-a the fries are not crispy at all and soggy. I go to UMBC and would much rather drive 40 mins for the fries on campus than this chick-fil-a. The milkshakes are decent but nowhere near the quality of cheeburger cheeburger that closed down a year ago. I also got the new peppercorn salad and the quality of the ingredients are mediocre. I really like how they have a drive through but the food doesn't do it for me. I would much prefer the McDonald's that's down Georgia ave. or spending the extra $5 for good quality chipotle. I don't understand how the food is always subpar at this location. At least McDonald's has cheaper and crispier fries and $1 large drinks. Chick-fil-a is a fast food restaurant so it doesn't deserve a 1 star rating but it definitely doesn't deserve a 5 star rating. If you want good fast food I would go to McDonald's. Wow. As an ambulance driver who frequents Montgomery Medical Center often I have been anxiously awaiting this chick-fil-a's opening. Since it is Chick-fil-A obviously the food was wonderful and service was excellent. What was amazing however was how streamlined this location already is for being open for such a short time. They are running as if they have been in operations for months. A+ to the staff and training crew. Watch out going around the parking lot however.
