    The Shack Stack

Shake Shack was running a promotion selling BOGO double stack burgers and my husband and I tried it for lunch one day. We were not disappointed in the deliciousness of the burger. The ingredients were fresh and the mobile order was made just as ordered. The order was also ready at the pick up time and simply tasted so juicy.

I stopped into shake shack before my drive home. The parking in this location is not pretty. High traffic area. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The fries are always crispy. The burger was good. I just wish Shake Shack would add more seasoning.

Lots of indoor seating, easy ordering experience and quick service. Went around 9pm and food came out fast. It's exactly what I expected of a Shake Shack. Yummy fast food. Fries were crispy, which I loved. Burger was nothing amazing but hit the spot (it was $10 with bacon for a single patty cheese burger). Chocolate shake was super-- rich and not too thick! Great place for a quick bite.

Before Christmas, I stopped in to satisfy my sweet tooth with one of their seasonal holiday milkshakes. This location and shake selection did not disappoint! I ordered online, walked in and my shake was ready within minutes. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the Chocolate Yule Log Shake was delectable! Bonus that there's multiple EV chargers in the shopping center.

I've visited a few times through the years and I'm not a big fan of this chain in general, the value isn't there for me. The taste of the burgers are slightly elevated for a fast food place, but the patty is still cheap and flavorless to me. The Chipotle Avocado Bacon Burger was tasty, good kick, but messy to eat. For the cost of a burger and fries for $15, you can go to a real restaurant and order takeout for a better burger. Service is typical of fast food places. Ambiance is ok depending on the crowd, there's indoor and outdoor seating. Shakes are thick since it's frozen custard, it's a workout to drink, might need a spoon. Chocolate salted caramel shake was very sweet but good.

Was in the area and looking for a quick place to grab lunch. Located in a cute, very new looking shopping center with a few other options to choose from. My daughter and I chose Shake Shack because who doesn't love crinkle fries? We both ordered burgers and it came out fairly quickly. We ordered bacon cheese fries and I appreciated that the toppings were put into separate containers otherwise the fries would've been soggy. Service was great!

First time going to any Shake Shack. I would probably pass on a 2nd visit. This is basically self service ordering at a kiosk. Luckily one of the associates walked up to the counter when I started ordering because I had a question regarding the spicy chicken, which he was considerate and answered my inquiry. We placed the order; however kiosk asked for table #; but there were no instructions where to get the #, nothing on the tables. After waiting for a few minutes someone else came up to front and noticed I was looking around. They asked if I my needed help & I mentioned not knowing how to put a table # in. Come to find out, the number signs weren't anywhere to be found. He went and got some. Meal came fairly quickly, place was clean and modest. They did have self service for filtered water and sodas and limited condiments, just ketchup. The presentation of our sandwiches was lovely. We both ordered the Avocado Bacon chicken sandwich. Delicious but I expected a larger piece of chicken for the price. Crinkle fries were ok, but again felt portion size for the price was lacking. My husband left saying he was still hungry. We were surprised that with "Shake" as part of the name there wasn't any Shake that I was tempted or enticed to try.

Fiancée and I came here for a cheap date night dinner. I had just come from swim lessons at OneLife Fitness and was pretty hungry. This Cabin John shopping mall has been renovated over time and looks very nice, especially at night. There are good restaurants and places to shop. Before eating we sat outside and talked on a patio behind Colony grill. Once hungry we went to order our food; it was within 30 minutes of closing. The servers were pleasant and our food was well prepared. Shake Shack always does a good job on presentation. That's true of every location I've visited. This location is one of the best! Thanks for a tasty dinner and I'll definitely be back.

Avocado Bacon Burger and the Chicken Shack

I got the Avocado Bacon Burger and the Chicken Shack. The Chicken Shack came for free, as for the month of April you can use the code "chickensunday" at checkout with an order of more than $10 and receive a free chicken sandwich, which is nice! The Avocado bacon burger was good but heavily seasoned, which is a good or bad thing depending on your taste, but in my opinion it was a bit TOO salty, the quality of the ingredients was pretty good as per Shake Shack's usual standard. The Chicken Shack had a nice crispy fry on the outside, good texture, but the inside was a bit dry and overcooked. Seasoned heavily as well, but not as salty as the burger. Overall I do enjoy the occasional Shake Shack burger, I just prefer the burgers over the chicken sandwiches. The self service kiosks were also convenient.

Updating cause I've had a couple visits since the previous review. Customer service team reached out to make things better, but today's visit prompted me to update. Thank you to the manager, Mario Hernandez, for making today's visit great. Friendly from start to finish. My order was well packaged and correct. Order was ready when I came back from a couple other stops I made in the shopping center. Mario offered me all the sauces I wanted since I was taking my order home. Still really like the shroom burger. I did get a shack burger for my dad, and he enjoyed it! Fries were great! And I may need to get large quantities of the shack sauce cause that's good on everything!

I have always had a good experience at this location. However, today I stopped there at 11:30 am and placed an order on the kiosk for a single Shake Shack burger with fries and a drink. At 11:45, I went to the window to ask about my order and was told, "We are working on orders and you will have to wait like everyone else." I told the manager who was at the pick up counter I had already waited 15 minutes and he walked away with no comment or answer. I finally got my meal at 12:00 noon. The fries were cold and the burger was undercooked and cold. I understand when a restaurant is busy but when I placed my order, it was me and one other family. There were only 4 tables occupied in the dining area. There should have been a minimal wait. The wait was bad enough but the attitude of the manager was rude and unacceptable.

    Fries. For $5. Crazy
    James D.

Just ordered some fries from Shake Shack. The picture is attached of how many fries you get for $5. ARE YOU KIDDING? I asked the person working if this is really how many fries you get at $5 an order, and she simply said yes. Unreal

    Eddie K.

Service has been better than in the past. I still recommend ordering through their app or you will be waiting for awhile. I usually order before I leave my house so it will be ready by the time I get there. They do have outdoor dining space but bundle up! The Korean Fried Chicken sandwich was crispy but I really didn't taste the gochujang. It wasn't that spicy at all, so I slathered gochujang I had at home. For their burgers I usually request the patty to be cooked well done as some of the burgers I had was more medium rare.

The truffle Mac & cheese was great! My burger also had potential, but was slightly undercooked for my taste. Taken with liberty was ok, but was just missing something, maybe a side of au jus or crisp lettuce instead of arugula. Fries were hot & fresh, nice and crispy. I ordered the Fonz Italian Sausage layered with pastrami (seemed like lunch meat) and melted cheese on top. I think it was provolone. Served on a toasted bun. Filling and satisfying, good flavor. The hot fries was a regular order of fries served with an imbalanced sprinkle sort of dumped on the top layer of fries and not distributed all the way through, which had an extra cost of $2 for the sprinkle of spices, which was an annoying difference in price in my opinion. Solid options for beer and a few ciders. Full bar as well. TVs on the walls only showing sports. You get a table number, order at the counter, pay, and they bring it out to the table number. Casual spot. My immediate thoughts...this place is overpriced. My sausage dog, fries and cider came to $26, plus tax, so about $31 bucks. I repeat, $31 bucks. I honestly felt as though the place was price gauaging. A few other people at my table mentioned the prices and thought they were overpriced. Not much service received, just them bringing the order out. Food was yummy, but I'm not convinced about the value. I have had sausage dogs, hot dogs, fries and beer around the world and I feel this place was overpriced. I like the atmosphere because its a perfect place for casual dining and decent for groups.

Unfortunately, what should have been a special celebration turned into a very disappointing experience due to the service we received upon arrival. We had a reservation for 4:00 p.m. When we arrived, the gentleman at the host stand was not welcoming or friendly. He simply told us to "step to the side" and that someone would assist us in a few minutes. As the minutes passed, we continued to wait without any communication. During that time, a white family of five walked in without a reservation and was seated immediately. At that point, I approached the host stand to ask what had happened and why we had not been seated despite having a reservation. The host searched for our reservation, asked what time it was scheduled for, and then casually stated, "I think someone stole your table." I was shocked by this response. I asked how that could happen if he was responsible for managing the seating. He had no explanation and, more importantly, never offered an apology for the mistake or the inconvenience. A manager later came over and asked what had happened. After I explained the situation, he appeared genuinely surprised and concerned by what had occurred. Once we were finally seated, our server acknowledged the delay and kindly offered us an appetizer because of the long wait at the front. We appreciated that gesture, but it did not change how unwelcome we had been made to feel upon arrival. I am writing this letter not because I am looking for compensation or anything in return. My purpose is simply to ensure that no other family has a similar experience, especially on a day meant to celebrate loved ones. Every guest deserves to be treated with fairness, courtesy, and respect. A sincere apology from the host at the time of the incident would have gone a long way. I hope you will use this feedback as an opportunity to coach your front-of-house staff on the importance of customer service, communication, and accountability. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. Sincerely, Ms. Deas

Service got off to a slow start this time. It took long enough that my daughter eventually got up to find our server so we could get water. There was also some initial confusion about how we wanted the check split, but once that was sorted out, our server was attentive, friendly, and did an excellent job. We have no complaints about the service after that point. We ordered several of the same appetizers as our previous visit: the Artichoke & Spinach Dip and the Crispy Thai Brussels. We also tried the Crabby Fries, which weren't on the menu during our last visit. All three appetizers were fantastic and just as memorable as before. Three of us ordered drinks. I had a Bloody Mary, and while it wasn't quite as impressive as the one I had during my previous visit, it was still enjoyable. As for the food, I'll start with the few disappointments. My wife ordered a fish dish and upgraded to the crispy potatoes, which are excellent when prepared properly. Unfortunately, the fish was placed directly on top of the potatoes, leaving them soggy rather than crispy by the time the dish reached the table. That was especially disappointing considering the additional charge for the upgrade. On our last visit, two Steak Frites orders were overcooked. This time, my daughter ordered the same dish and requested medium-rare, assuming it might come out a little over. Instead, it arrived rare. Fortunately, she was fine with it. My parents both ordered the Black & Bleu Penne, and while the filet tips in both dishes were overcooked, they remained surprisingly juicy. Another member of our party ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and was disappointed by the soggy bread and somewhat lackluster flavor. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, and it was very good. It wasn't a traditional Chicken Marsala as I'm accustomed to, but it was flavorful, unique, and ultimately satisfying. After two visits, here's my overall impression: the service has been consistently good, though not exceptional. The flavors, however, have been outstanding every time. The kitchen clearly knows how to develop great flavors, and that consistency keeps us coming back. If you're ordering a steak dish, just be aware that the final temperature may not always be exactly as requested. That said, we've visited with large groups both times--eight people on our first visit and seven on our second--so it's possible some dishes spend extra time waiting in the window while the rest of the order is completed. Overall, this is a solid 4.5-star restaurant in our opinion. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't allow half-star ratings, so I'm giving it 4 stars. Despite a few execution issues, the food quality and flavor are strong enough that we'd gladly return again.
