2.28.25 Based on the high reviews, I was very excited to try this new restaurant which opened on December 18. I ordered a small soy garlic, boneless wings. I was surprised to learn that it was $15.95 (discounted price for cash payment) and that does not even include any sides except for pickled daikon. I did order a side of jasmine rice. I thought the serving for the small was generous and hearty. The chicken was crispy and the wings were huge. The downside was there was barely any coating of the sauce. When I go to Bonchon or other Korean restaurants, the chicken is coated in the sauce to the point where you need napkins to wipe your hands. That is not the case here. If you ask for additional sauce, there is a $2 charge. I really enjoyed their jasmine rice and the daikon. The rice was chewy and moist, one of the best that I've had anywhere. Given that other restaurants include sides with the chicken for roughly the same price, I am inclined to go to other restaurants. The chicken upset my tummy after I ate it, but my hubby says I generally have issues after I eat Asian cuisine.

Combo B: 5 wings, mashed potatoes, corn cheese balls, 2 fried dumplings, and small side salad.

Don Chicken was the meal I never knew I was missing out, on until today! First time customer, I tried the Combo B selection. Upon each first bite of every item, my mouth kept watering from the delicious flavors. The penultimate was their chicken wings (I had them plain-no sauce). I wish I had ordered more. I was sad when I looked down and my all food had disappeared (into my belly)! Truly make a point to visit this restaurant and try many options. There are convenient self serve order tablets at the counter when you walk in. The woman working front of house was so helpful and gave me suggestions on customer favorites to start with! There is more than just fried delectables. They have salads, ramen, rice bowls, and vegan menu items! You will be making plans for weekly return visits.

So glad we came! The staff was super nice and patient with us. The chicken itself was super crispy and HOT! We ordered spicy soy and galbi. The flavors were great and chicken itself was super juicy. 2 large orders fed us 5 people perfectly.

We got take out today. A small order of soy garlic wings, a small order of sweet and spicy wings and a side of baby octopus. The portions were generous and the food was delicious!

Delicious Korean style chicken wings! It's made fresh so consider placing order ahead if you want to just walk in and walk out. Support a new business in the area, it was delicious.

Stop by the shop, which is very nice and clean in a nice neighborhood. The staff were super friendly, and walk through the menu with me. I got a small garlic chicken (whole), was impressed with the portion (contain wing, thighs, legs and chests). The chicken was juicy inside with light crispy skin. The garlic sauce was flavorful and delicious too . Definitely the best Korean fried chicken I had in a while.

Had to try this new spot. The food is very flavorful. Cost more if using credit vs. cash.

This self service Korean fried chicken restaurant is located in the town square of Kings Farm. Previous restaurants in this location has been disappointing so I am super thrilled that DON Chicken just opened! We tried the original, soy garlic, sweet and spicy and the Tteokboki. Soy garlic was definitely my favorite sauce and the Tteokboki was excellent. I usually don't like sauce on my fried chicken as most places smother it with sauce which takes away the crunch, however, it was lightly covered in this sweet and savory sauce. I will definitely come back!

Good food, a bit overpriced. Menu offers a good variety of options and the quality was fine.

Boo-hoo, look around and you'll find a spot unless you're driving a yacht. Now, to the setting and the food...the setting is the way I like it. Rustic, clean, unassuming, not fancied up. Wooden privacy screens are set in between tables. (Perhaps because of Covid? Not sure.) This to me was really comfortable, didn't feel like I was stuck in a cattle car. I'm sure there's Korean BBQ here but we weren't at such a table. In fact it looked like grills had been removed from some tables and replaced with wooden covers. So nice to have that extra space because... Ordered bibimbap, bulgogi, steamed dumplings, etc. The extra side dishes I enjoy (kimchi, sprouts, etc.) were there as well. Ice tea, yadda yadda. Korean music was playing but it wasn't loud, on another screen by the kitchen I could see Family Guy. Again, not loud or intrusive. Didn't feel like they skimped on portions, there was plenty. Almost too much, wasn't sure I'd manage to finish the bulgogi but I did...mmm. Overall, this place is a nice break from other places. If you want to take someone out and just enjoy yourselves, this would be it. Perhaps a bit different when full, but still. Btw, it's been 13 years since I first went here. This week was only the second time. I totally forgot where it was or whether it was still around. So glad it is.

Speaking of videos, the only reason I found this place was through a TikTok, which offered a rave review and showed a packed restaurant. I guess this is how I know FoodTok has officially reached the mainstream, because I'm seeing more and more staged scenarios and dubious opinions. The only thing anybody had anything positive to say about was the rice, which was technically perfect. There is an old adage that goes, "you can judge a restaurant based on how well they cook their rice."
