The problem is the place is always so packed, it hardly meets the criteria for fast food. I probably wait on average 15 minutes for my order, but it's always worth the wait. I'm not sure the drive thru would be any faster. There are about 7-10 outdoor tables. This location is co-located with Chick-Fil-A so that probably adds to the chaos.

It took a second to get someone to help us with ordering food at the counter but they were pretty busy. We got their Beef Loaded Nachos ($2.99) and their iconic Grilled Beefy Melt Burrito ($4.99). The sauces are available right at the counter. We got our food fairly quick, the nachos were incredible, love it every time and it's never a miss. I'd definitely share this with someone! As for the grilled cheese burrito, pretty disappointing, they burnt the cheese a bit and it wasn't cheesy, it blended more on the tortilla. However, the inside was pretty good but felt like it was more tortilla bites then the rice, meat, etc inside. Overall, I'll definitely come back and get the nachos again! I'm giving this five stars for her, not for the location. Most times I come here I'm close to leaving a negative review because of the attitude and lack of effort from other staff, especially management. It often feels careless and inconsistent. That's why she stood out so much. She felt genuine and just did her job right without any attitude. Managers here could learn a lot from employees like her. Kudos to her for setting the standard. Also, respect to the cooks. I know they probably don't get the recognition they deserve.

Now I'm back and it's Vallarta express. Look at my pictures. When I was in HS in 1993, a carne asada burrito was $2.75. A bean and cheese burrito was $1.75 (when we were broke we would buy that and split it between three HS football players, it weighed 2.5lbs, we called it a "wet sock") These prices are insane. A carne asada burrito is now $13.90. A SINGLE TACO IS $7.00! It's the same fast food drive through! Compared to today: $2.75 in 1993 has the same buying power as approximately $6.17 today (late 2025) I realize that I moved to the free state of Florida. But dang. The cost differential for everything here is totally lopsided.
