But that's not why we're here, Marcos and the team make our visits especially exceptional. Marcos always has a smile on his face and makes eating here feel like home. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, wasn't crazy busy but WAITED over 25 mins for 2 plates. I waited Patiently for 25 mins, stood their waited until someone ask can i help you? I seen guests came and went, Also ordered after me and got their order quicker. I inquired about my order and they said it next, i told them nicely that i was here for over 25 mins. Once i got my order i requested another tzatziki, same guy i told him that i was waiting... wanted to charge me for another tzatziki sauce. I told him REALLY!!?? I waited 25 mins and you want to charge me for it? I love Mediterranean food and for the price point I figured I'd get quality but it was lacking. NO SUPPORT. The food is amazing at Luna Grill! I hope a few locations open up in Vegas! While my family and I were visiting Legoland for a few days, we ended up stopping by Luna Grill for dinner after our second night! It was only a few minutes away from the Legoland Castle hotel. Google maps originally brought us to the main entrance to the Carlsbad mall and shops. We ended up going through the mall area and found that the restaurant was located on the other side. It was really busy inside Luna Grill when we had stopped by around 7:30 P.M. Luna grill's menu has a wide range of Mediterranean options. You can get falafel, chicken, steak, salads and so much more like Plate options, bowls ,salads, pitas, kabobs, and a lot of different options. Since it was our first time here, we did end up ordering an appetizer, the Lunatic Sampler. This had falafel, stuffed grape leaves, couscous, hummus, and pita bread. I really enjoyed the couscous. It was delicious with the cucumbers and tomatoes. It was one of my favorite part of the meals. For the entrees, we ended up ordering the follow Chicken Pita Wrap The Steak Kabobs The Lemon Chicken (This was delicious !!) I did customize the chicken pita wrap to have hummus with just the chicken, lettuce, cucumbers, and feta cheese. It was soo yummy. I enjoyed Luna Grill so much that when I was near Disneyland, I ended up going back to Luna Grill at their Anaheim location, ordering the same thing! My family enjoyed the steak kabobs and the lemon chicken as well. It did take some time for our entrees, about 30 minutes, but it was so busy inside during the evening. Every table was in use! I ordered a to go meal for an event. The food was good and packed nicely. This location can have rough parking sometimes. It was helpful there was a sign posted that parking was allowed for 15 minutes. (I believe.) That was very helpful as it's a spot that doesn't look like one is allowed to park there. Tried this place a month ago and loved it. I keep thinking of it so I got the app, kids eat free Monday - Thursday and went with my daughter, she wanted steak so I added that to my falafel plate. She got chicken for her kids meal. Workers were beyond nice and accommodating. Helped me choose and we loved everything except for the steak. It was chewy, so chewy we could chew it. They went above and beyond and offered a refund, instead we got a kids meal since steak was $9 add on and kids meal is around $7. Know that they would have refunded me the $9 which is so nice but we opted for getting the kids meal because my daughter loved their fried n pita. I love their chicken. Not a fan of the hummus or pita personally but the falafel are so yummy and chicken is incredible quality for the US (it's so difficult to find good chicken in the US). Rice was fluffy and light and good and Mediterranean Salad was so great I didn't even need to use the dressing that came with it. For dipping I chose the cilantro one. They have plenty to choose from. I chose carrots instead of pita. Tastes great dipped in cilantro dip. I appreciate they have this option. This place was 5 stars month ago and 5 stars today too! I come here every couple of months when I get that kabob craving. The staff working here is amazing - you can always hear them greeting everyone as they come in. They are efficient and courteous despite being so busy. Norma, Andrew and Diana helped me today. I had some questions about their new to me menu and they answered them with a smile. I love Luna Grill but normally wouldn't be inclined to write a review for them. However, this location is somehow better than a lot of the other locations I've had. The chicken kabob was so tender and juicy, I was shocked that the difference could be so apparent. When I order the chicken kabob at the Bressi Ranch location (my go to location) it's much drier and I find myself relying on the sauce. I don't want to make the drive out to this location all the time but it is so much better than the other Luna Grill. read more
