5 stars for service if you get Erica, 2 otherwise, 4 stars for food (great food, slow kitchen), 5 stars for atmosphere. Good value for the price. We're regular's here. My wife always gets the strawberry date salad (sub feta for gorgonzola, add grilled chicken) and i often get the spicy prawn linguine (delicious! 4 jumbo prawns, really spicy, you can ask for mild, mushrooms, marinara cream sauce, bread triangles for sopping the sauce). The grilled chicken is the best I've ever had - just the right amount of char and a great marinade with a signature yellow tint and savory crust (pureed yellow onions and fresh lemon juice as tenderizer; salt, black pepper, saffron cumin, coriander, turmeric), and that's saying a lot because I usually get beef. Most other dishes I've had are good - salads, soup, paninis, wraps. Lamb kabobs are rare unless you ask for well done. A special shout out to server Erica - a real professional. That means she recognizes and acknowledges regulars, gets drink orders to the table quickly after you sit down, takes the order right after you close the menu, if you're a regular, remembers your typical order, notices the need for refills right away, gets the check to you quickly after you're done. In other words, she pays close attention to customers, a skill central to being a server, but it seems to be a lost art these days in most cases. She always does her job well, if even the restaurant is short server staff and all the tables are busy. Plenty of free parking behind the restaurant. Wheelchair accessible. The not so good: Kitchen is slow, even when the restaurant is not busy, also at the Del Mar location. The Bressi Ranch location is near a large business park, so during lunchtime on weekdays, the kitchen often gets behind from large takeout orders. Lots of takeout by non-business customers as well. With the exception of Erica, the servers are not particularly attentive - they seems to spend most time at the order terminals next to the kitchen instead of watching customer tables, so don't often do the things I mention above for Erica. The runners also don't pay attention to customer tables they're not taking food to, so don't tell the servers when a customer needs something. No Wi-Fi, which is really needed if you're a Verizon customer (1 bar signal). read more

Was in the area, the husband wanted me to pick some up. They have to go menu online that offers a little more than dine in. Like the Ka boxes that come with all in one appetizer and entree in a nice to go box. Choice of rice and spread. We got the combo ka box, came with chicken, ground beef and veggies. It came with pita and supposed to come with hummus and a yogurt sauce. Somehow we got 2 yogurt sauces and no hummus. My husband was really upset because there was nothing to dip the pita. Clean, seemed busy. Enjoyed the vegetarian options of the tofu kabob but not much of it - a little disappointing for the price. Large plates but wish there was more substance to the tofu- more of it- only small 4-5 thin pieces. Salad was pretty normal and not the typical Mediterranean salad lemon type dressing. Tonight February 18, I waited 15 minutes I sat at a table and no one waited on me. They had one waiter for the whole restaurant. They saw me come in then I went to the counter and asked for help and the owner, I believe was rude. The waiter was with the same people for 20 minutes. I left !Unfortunately they used to be one of the best go to restaurants. A few years ago, it went under new management and they took away the reward system. It seems the care for their customers was not there anymore just profit. The waiters and waitresses are still great and the food is still great but the new owners need a lot to learn. We dine here often and the food has always been very consistent in the quality which is a Must for us that keeps us coming back! The prices are decent, and the customer service has always also been outstanding. I love getting their flat iron steak medium rare (super tender) with the strawberry date salad and bulgar. I've also tried their pasta, chicken soup, and chicken wraps - all are very tasty! Their house-made tiramisu is such a treat. I appreciate a true scratch kitchen. Customizing certain items can be a bit tricky due to their system, but they try to make it work for you. Relaxing ambiance that can get pretty busy during lunch and weekends but the servers are on top of it. Outdoor seating is nice, with heat lamps on cold days and blinds when it's too sunny out. Fabian & Erika are a couple of our favorite servers but everyone is always super efficient and nice! Every time I have come here since January 2026 (7 times) it has taken 5-10 minutes after I was sat for a waiter or waitress to even come to our table to say hi. From working in the food industry and training in many restaurants this is unacceptable in every way. Unless they hire more servers I do not recommend you coming here unless you don't mind waiting. Also beware when ordering a cup of chicken soup as I was served a cup twice and there wasn't any chicken in it. I am no longer willing to come to this restaurant. read more

PKG is a Family friendly place with good portions, healthy options, and decent prices. Their chicken kabobs are A+. We had one of those, along with the beef ones and a falafel plate. Came here on a cold March day, they had patio seating with lots of heaters so we didn't feel the cold. I like that the heaters were overhead so you didn't see something like those big bulky heaters that people try to move around and they can end up in the way, or we don't get heat. My friend and her parents have been coming here for years. It's a bit of a tradition that when they pick her up from the airport, they stop here for lunch. This place is also their special occasion place. We came for her parents wedding anniversary, over 30 years. This was my first time, 3 of us had the steak kabobs, with rice and salad, and the other person ordered the salmon. It's the go to order! Then it took almost 30 minutes for our food to arrive and it seemed like some of our dishes had been sitting out for some time -- our server never stopped by to inform us of our food status that whole time. Came in late afternoon on a Friday and unfortunately the experience was rough from start to finish. Service was extremely slow. We were a group of four and it took about 2.5 hours total from getting seated to walking out...and it wasn't because the place was packed. The majority was open/unused tables, so it didn't feel like the kitchen or staff were slammed to the point this kind of delay made sense. When the food finally arrived, no one checked back in. We needed a few things and ended up just letting it go because we didn't see our server again for a while. The pricing on add-ons also felt off: we ordered extra tzatziki and it was $1.99 for a tiny portion, which was disappointing. It's Greek food, people. Food-wise, the meat portions were decent, but there were a couple misses that made it feel like corners were being cut. The "basmati rice" looked like a sprinkle of basmati mixed into regular white rice. Not what we expected. The end of the meal was the most frustrating part. After we got the bill, we sat there for 15 minutes waiting to pay, and eventually I had to track someone down. Each server has a handheld payment device, so this could have been wrapped up in minutes if someone had simply come by when we were clearly ready.
