First time trying cava and this was actually a really lovely healthy option for lunch It's going to tell you I love you to build your own world and give you an unlimited amount of vegetable toppings to add without any extra charge. Three sauces is also quite abundant and we went all out and made something with tzatziki roasted red pepper hummus and the eggplant sauce. Also got the spicy harissa chicken and the date vinaigrette. Overall, it was really delicious big bowl where all the flavors went well together. The sweet spicy Vibe was absolutely perfect. Got the super greens mix and the romaine mix for the bottom so didn't even need the pita crisps on the top for crunch. Overall a good bowl. read more

We also got the saffron basmati rice, red pepper hummus on the side, roasted white sweet potatoes, fire-roasted corn, pickled onions, salt-brined pickles, tomato and cucumber, sumac slaw, persian cucumber, shredded romaine, crumbled feta, pita crisps, and balsamic vinaigrette on the side. So, I love Cava! Been to one in CO and a few here in CA. Can't go wrong with cava. It's a Mediterranean, chipotle. Their chicken is good. I love mixing my salad with lentils. I pretty much get everything in my bowl. I love the garlic sauce. I always recommend getting the pickled onions and olives. Don't forget... don't ever forget the pita chip crunch on top! It's the textures! It makes the bowl! Unfortunately service was awful! I had to remind the girl to put more.:: she was giving me dashes of the food! With that being said, I would like to point out that there is a horrible lack of customer service and the people that work in there have no personality and are worse than robots!!! And after spending $22 on a bowl of vegetable vegetables I was more than disgruntled ! I will not be eating in this facility again I might order takeout. Also when me and my girlfriend were ready to leave. We waited at least two minutes to be acknowledged by the young lady next to the register. We were waiting for a bag. There was one open already on the counter and she just nodded to my girlfriend or you can take that. My girlfriend said well we're not together. Can we get another bag and she completely ignored her so I had to walk over and grab a bag off of the top row of the shelf like I work there when I don't to get my bag so I could leave. Wow! Cava is a newer (particularly for the West Coast) restaurant that is spreading (i.e., opening new locations) rapidly. After my family had our first meal there today, I can see why it has such a quickly growing following. The Mediterranean-style, fast(ish), food is such a nice addition. The ingredients, so many for you to customize, are fresh, plentiful, and very delicious. Depending on how you create your meal, this can be a very healthy addition to your diet, without compromising taste. Each of us ordered a "green and grain" bowl with plenty of additions, all of us were completely satisfied and so very full. I would recommend ordering via the Cava application, this will ease the process and have it ready at a predesignated time. I was happy to find out that there is also a new San Marcos location and best for me, a Temecula Cava location that will be opening within the next couple of months. For my family, we will definitely be consistent patrons of Cava. Such a wonderful experience with Aiden and his teammate Aiden! From the beginning we were greeted with a warm welcome and excellent customer service. I wasn't super familiar with some of the flavors and Aiden encouraged me to try a small sample to know what I was ordering. A delicious Harissa chicken "build my own" protein bowl. Dear Cava, we love your food and customer service, however, your employees need to be treated fairly. We were being helped by a wonderful girl today, and witnessed the most disrespectful treatment towards her. First off she was alone working the salad bar when we came in. Second we could tell that she was overwhelmed and tired. Then her manger asked her if she could stay longer and she said NO. We then watched her working regardless and could tell it was against her will. That is literally not okay, I understand things happen but she said no. End of the conversation. Generally I like cava. It tastes good and is a good portion of food. It's not cheap that's for sure--3 bowls for $50. At a recent visit though, I was definitely thrown off by the service and upkeep of the restaurant. There were approx. 8 people working, no line and 1 customer eating when I arrived. We were not acknowledged for nearly 5 minutes. Not the end of the world, just interesting. What I didn't love though was that the shop was a mess. There was stuff on the floors and every station was unclean. It's unappetizing. It was really hard for me not to say something when a meat scooper was used for the vegetables and meat ended up in my vegetarian bowl. If the stations were better cared for this wouldn't have happened. The staff really needs to be careful for those with dietary restrictions & especially those with allergies. read more

The food was good. No complaints. The server was very friendly and accommodating, giving us a sample of something we weren't sure we preferred (one of the proteins). Again, no complaints. My complaint is the the price of the item we ordered did not appear to be anywhere IN STORE, and in fact, there was a much lower price for a SIMILAR item posted in-store. Not cool. Our bowl was over $17, which is just ridiculous. I have paid less for delicious full sit-down meals with wait service! I know prices have increased, but really, $17+ for a bowl of mostly salad greens is just ridiculous. And the on-line "feedback" form informed me that the prices were available on their website. The first thing that struck me was the poor service. The people making our sandwiches were not paying any degree of attention to what they were doing. I figured it's a wrap though, things mix together anyway and we were very hungry. A lot of room for error and end up with something decent to eat. When we unwrapped our wraps though, it was a disaster. The bread was saturated in sauce and unable to be eaten without cutlery. As I approached the area where cutlery is kept, I noticed an even bigger problem: this place is FILTHY. I went to speak with the manager, and all I was told is that I was wrong. According to her, my sandwich looked delicious and the drink/cutlery area was as clean as any customer should expect. Oh, and my favorite: the drink dispensers aren't crusty and dirty because of lack of cleaning, they're stained from all the natural juices they use. If I don't like that, then a natural place like Cava isn't for me. She was right about that last part. This place definitely wasn't for me. . . Food is bomb. I usually order in but I ordered online one time and what's on hand physically doesn't reflect online when ordering certain bowls. As well as pick up time, my order should've been ready by 7:30. I got there later due to traffic around 7:45 and my order still wasn't ready. I asked the front and they said it would've been a few mins until it came out. But come to find out they didn't even have my order started at all. Half of the toppings were out. The staff here can never seem to get a pickup order correct. Just picked up tonight 6/19 and my order was missing my second meat and pita. Every time I've been here they've somehow managed to screw this same thing up on my pickup order. We wanted to eat inside in their dining area. When looking for a table, each and every table was filthy with food leftovers from other diners before us. There are about 20 tables in the store, every one was filthy with big chunks of leftover food, waiting for mice to come and feast. I pointed out the filthy tables to two employees, and they did not care. They just kept doing whatever they were doing, and did not clean even one table off for us. I did not order anything and will never eat at this piss-poor eatery. My son eats there. He took his bowl of food outside and we found a neighbor restaurant with clean outdoor tables. Gluten Free/ Dairy Free Options Tried CAVA for the first time and the ordering system was pretty seamless. It works similarly to Chipotle where you choose whether you want a wrap or a bowl and all your fix ins. I told the staff that I had a gluten allergy and they took the necessary precautions to handle my food safely. They don't have their allergens listed in the store but there was a QR code on the glass that led me to their allergen menu. I thought their cucumber mint lemonade was refreshing and the bowl I made was delicious. This will definitely be in my rotation of restaurants for some healthy fast food. read more

Last time we went the entire floor was so sticky- don't know what was up with that but it was gross and I had to clean my shoes after.
