I just have to keep in mind that certain items on the menu may phase out like my Pink Lady Beets Salad which I was disappointed when I heard it was no longer on the menu. Anyway, the atmosphere inside is usually very relaxed with a beachy vibe. Importantly, the staff are very friendly and efficient... always providing consistently quick service. No trouble parking. Clean restaurant. Fun designs. Love the blue cows on the ceiling! Staff was welcoming and patient. Drinks are yummy and seen healthy so I appreciate that. My favorite is Get your Greens. I think that's the name. There's a jugo verde I'd get in Mexico City that it reminds me of. So great to find it here. Chimichurri steak n bacon is always a win super on point sandwich. Not a fan of the abundance of oil but I get it, It's chimichurri. Peruvian Steak was ok, my Peruvian husband just said it was ok. Not anything he'd recognized as Peruvian. Avocado and quinoa super ensalada is the bomb! I get it with ceaser dressing on the side. Love that salad. Bathrooms clean, oddly long lol. Aloha Ladies and Gents! I'm out on the hunt for dinner and since Mendocino Farms was a quick five minute drive, I was ready to drop in. The restaurant is located in a very busy strip mall right next door to Starbucks Coffee. Parking can be hard to find depending on what time you visit. You can always park in the back of the restaurant where a larger lot is available. Upon entering I was immediately greeted by the cashier with a warm smile and a welcome. A digital menu is at the register if you're not sure what to order. I found it helpful The service area was bright and the staff eagerly awaited orders and completed them in a timely fashion. Drinks are self serve and there was plenty of seating both indoor and out. The atmosphere was laid back and casual. I ordered two Watermelon Poke Salads. I added protein to each salad which was an additional charge. Chicken in one salad and tofu in the other. The salads were overflowing with fresh ingredients like poke style marinated watermelon, edamame, avocado, pickled daikon and carrots, cucumber, scallion, cilantro, Napa cabbage, romaine, kale, spinach, crispy rice, bean sprouts, Siracha mayo, and ginger ponzu dressing. See...I told you it was overflowing, but you didn't believe me did you?? Well, now you know. It was a refreshing Summer salad. The watermelon gave the salad a sweet flavor and the pickled daikon gave it a tangy kick and a slight crunch. Overall it was bursting with flavor and the added proteins were a great addition. Wish this place was could do better because we would eat here multiple times a week. They consistently forget paid for items. I order lunch for 3 to 4 for guys in a repair shop and add extra meat onto most sandwiches, which is forgotten almost every time. I usually have them check that extra items are included but didn't have time today, but guess what happened, no extra items included!! So basically Mendocino is stealing from their customers! The tofu is so ridiculously firm (in a great way), I should try to find out what brand they use! We were welcomed upon arrival, helped and able to order immediately, got extra help when a reward on our MyMendo wasn't working, the bathrooms were clean, service was quick! I was placing a catering order for my job and accidently populated my personal credit card information for the order while completing checkout online. The manager was very nice and apologized, but it took about 15-20 minutes to get one sandwich. We ordered the chicken prosciutto sandwich which was divine.
