Loved our food and visit to Sweetgreens. I appreciated being able to customize what I wanted in a build your bowl. The Honey Hot chicken bowl was delicious. Somehow I didn't photograph our food but I also loved seeing the fresh food being ready to be prepared and what gardens the produce came from. read more

This is my first time trying this place. Upon walking inside, it's very clean The service is amazing. The lady serving me, Michelle was so friendly and patient with me. I decided to go with build my own bowl. I got blackened chicken with lettuce, sweet potatoes , quinoa topped with charred jalapeño dressing. Michele recommended that topping. Perfect choice. It was so good and I'm happy it was good I was kind of nervous with all these healthy options lol. The price is around $15 for the bowl. I got $5 off for first time by using the app. I will definitely be coming back. There's so much more I want to try. read more

It's been a minute since I've been to this SweetGreen! I was tired and ready to head home but decided to pick up dinner on my way. I ordered the hot honey chicken plate and added broccoli. I love their roasted broccoli and it was the perfect addition to my plate. I'm usually not a big sweet potato person but I love them in this plate. The staff were super friendly and generous with the portions. read more

Always stop by here when I'm in the area to get my salad fix. Fresh, healthy and good for you! Enjoy trying new to me menu items. Today I ordered the steak honey crunch salad. Love the garlicky crunch and golden quinoa. Steak was good but wish it was served warm. Grab a crispy rice treat with honey date caramel. Perfect little sweet treat! read more

Horrible decline in food quality and service. Waited 30 minutes with only a few people in line. One server. Counter was a big mess. I asked to bring another server up front. So did the woman behind me. I asked twice. The employee gave me a 'look'. There appears to be no management of their employees. The food was really bad. After spending $20. I tossed it out. Rancid and unsanitary looking. Never going back. It used to be my favorite place when it first opened read more

Always delicious, filling and healthy. Love the quality, speed of service. Prices are high, but as expected and on par with everywhere else.

Food is awesome. One of my favorite places to go for something quick, healthy and pretty filling. Accuracy is hit or miss and are often missing or out of key ingredient or elements to how you want your food (recent examples include bread, dressings and sweet potatoes). Service is unfortunately not its strength and digital ordering if often late - Just set your expectations for that. read more

Love this location! Staff is cool, lots of parking, and a really cool outdoor area to eat. Always quick when I order. Never misses!

Ordered a Shroomami salad through DoorDash. Removed the tofu and paid three dollars extra for Parmesan cauliflower and three dollars extra for caramelized onions. The salad arrived with TWO slices of mushroom on it, two slices of onion, one piece of cauliflower with a few other teeny tiny pieces. So what did I pay $28.00 for? A plate of dry, shredded kale I could barely choke down with a ramekin of sweet and unimpressive tasting dressing that Kraft could have made, and a small scoop or rice. Called DoorDash for a refund which was a whole ordeal. I'd give this place a second chance if they actually put the ingredients in the salad they claim to put in there. But I'd go in person to make sure they do before I pay three dollars for a piece of cauliflower and another three dollars for two slices of onion again. read more

I have been coming here for several years. Most the time it has been a pretty good experience. Unfortunately, lately I have been completely disappointed. Only one employee helping customers as the line grows and everyone is wandering about. No one is smiling or being personable and the last 2 times the portions of decreased by 30% or more and the orders are not made correct. I typically order double chicken. Tonight my double chicken was less than one standard scoop. Complete rip off. A lot of money for a bowl full of kale only read more

This place used to be good, but I couldn't even order when I saw the mess this whole place was tonight. This is the food station, what a mess! Lids off and food everywhere, all over the counters, and even at the checkout counter. Everything looked contaminated, sloppy and like it was sitting out all day. It was a total disaster. You wouldn't want to eat here either if you see the photos. Not appetizing at all. They really need to clean up! read more

Honeymoon is over! They have realized they are the only game in town, so they stopped caring. They are routinely out of one of your ingredients. My guess the problem falls somewhere between trying to save a buck (as they know once you are in the store your only alternative close by is a bad fast food burger at shake shack) and bad order management. Psst, they make software for that. The app has been a problem from day one. Early on there was unexplainable login problems, which I created a new email address just get around this issue. I was happy to see it got resolved. The issue for over a year is that they don't read the comment or add-on in the mobile orders. My wife always adds avocado to the chicken pesto parm. And EVERY TIME they forget to add it. We have gotten wise and check the order before driving away. But it is not just the add-ons. Sometimes it is mixed, has bread or over dressed. Lack of consistency has me looking for alternatives. Sweet Greens needs competition to put them in their place. read more

Wow friendliest most attentive staff here help me with my pick up! I was greeted right away and i came for pick up so it wasnt in the section so i waited, then they found it hidden in the pick up section and taped and bagged for me and added an extra sauce. Very much appreciated!!! Got to enjoy my Hummus Crunch salad modified with hot sauce and caesar dressing cos i was in the mood for kale caesar but with different toppings. The ingredients were plenty and fresh and i love the bread!! Def recommend this location! Better than the ones back home in the bay. read more

I love this place! Been there 4 times and it never disappoints! I would recommend it to all my friends! Yum yum delicious!

I've been to many Sweetgreens and this experience was less than acceptable. Upon entering, it was not busy at all. There was one patron waiting to be serviced, and there was only one employee making bowls and ringing customers up, yet there were about 8 employees in the back. I understand shifts and different stations that you may be working, but if you see multiple people in line, it makes zero sense that nobody came to help. Once helped, we got the BBQ chicken salad and a custom bowl. The employee did not offer bread, and did not ask if I wanted the dressing tossed. Every sweetgreen I've been to asks that and when I said I wanted it tossed, she gave me a look of inconvenience. Also, when she gave it back to me, lettuce was falling out and it wasn't even tossed well. Very bad experience. read more

I've heard about sweet green for a while but visited today for the first time. The pictures of the new fries made me drive the distance! I got there about 30mins after they opened (10:30am). Parking is a nightmare. I was just about to give up when a spot opened up. The man serving me was nice and polite. The salad I chose was super yummy. The fries were not worth the drive. They must have been made before opening and had been sitting there for the 40+ minutes. They were cold and dried out. Surprisingly the pickle ketchup was very yummy as I'm not a pickle person! I can imagine the fries could be delicious if they were fresh but that wasn't the case. Not sure what the solution will be for them to stay stocked on FRESH fries. ‍ read more

I ordered through Grubhub. The delivery was quick and on time but the food was awful! I ordered my daughter the the kids chicken meal. The picture online looked good but my daughter got shredded chicken. Instead of sweet potato wedges it was basically sweet mash potatoes. They were both very cold as well. I paid $25 for a very disappointing salad. I paid the $6 for the extra steak. It looked like it had been diced up and in a fridge for days. I also got just a few pieces. I paid for extra blue cheese and barely got any at all... the sweet potato in my salad was super mushy. Both my steak and sweet potato were VERY cold as well. I ended up having to make a different dinner for my daughter, throwing out my salad and thank goodness my husband did not get anything because that would of been gross as well and more money down the drain... Honestly... I'm so disappointed and hungry. read more

Usually pretty good. The only place really that has healthy choices and custom builds. However, the chicken in real life does not look like the chicken in their marketing. Spicy broccoli also different, not cooked like photo and not spicy. Also got the new fries -- cold and hard, like another review mentioned. My jaw was actually a little sore after eating them. Otherwise, everything does seem pretty fresh. Service always good. The shop itself is super cute and clean. Cool that you can see into the kitchen and see the ingredients. I loooove Sweetgreen. Ingredients are so fresh, steak and mushrooms are my favorite. So yummy. HOWEVER, this location seems to always be out of something and I can never make the bowl I want. Often times the employees get my order wrong or almost charge something incorrectly because they are rushing. They seem disorganized in how orders should be prepped. My most recent experience, I was incorrectly almost charged $10 over. The location itself is always clean. I wish the employees would SLOW DOWN to get the orders and charges correct and that they actually restocked things. Then it would be 5 out of 5 P.S. This is my daughters' absolute favorite place in the whole world!!! The only complaint is they don't have enough locations in San Diego!!! We were on a road trip so we went out of our way to Carlsbad from Bay Park to pick up dinner for the four of us. Kind of hard to eat in the car but worth the hassle. We ordered a couple shroomami warm bowls and a chicken pesto parm bowl, all with modifications, as well as a side of roasted sweet potatoes with green goddess dressing. Everything was made perfect and definitely hit the spot. A bit pricey for a salad but would pay it every time. Sweetgreen is always consistent and even more delicious. Ps. We ordered ahead of time on the mobile app which was super convenient! It was ready on time when we picked up! read more

This location is just inconsistent, sometimes they toss, sometime they don't, sometimes they offer bread, sometimes they don't, sometimes they have enough people to work the front making bowls, sometimes they don't, some workers are nice, some are snarky. Sweetgreen brings a fresh, healthier alternative to traditional "fast food" options. Founded by 3 college students, they serve healthy lunches and dinners without sacrificing quality or convenience. My wife and I first came here for a late dinner and instantly made note of the clean, modern layout. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating with menu modifications. We both opted to try the Miso Bowl, a seasonal special, swapping in salmon for chicken. All ingredients were fresh and delicious, but I think the warm wild rice was my favorite part. I also recommend trying the Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Hot Honey Mustard. The sweet and spicy combo pairs nicely! The portions here are very hefty, so keep that in mind when ordering. We each left uncomfortably full. When the food is this good it's easy to over eat! PRO TIP: If you have allergies or food sensitivities, this is a great option. The menu notes "gluten" and "vegan" dishes and the staff is happy to help guide you while making your selections. You can also order ahead on the mobile app, which shows all ingredients and options. read more

Saw a very long line while driving in the nearby area and thought I better go check it out! Saw the big sign where they locally source most of their ingredients from and the location. Customer service was a bit behind, I saw a few people in the back that were doing nothing and could have helped the 2 up front and sped up the long lines. Also would love to see the proteins ahead of time as they were covered with lids and wanted to gauge how juicy, dry, and colors as I taste with my eyes first so did the vegetarian salad. Hope they add a location closer to San Diego as it would be a real hit in this area! For sure will be back when in Carlsbad. read more

This food is very good here and the quality is high but the protein portions are so small. They rarely give me a full scoop of chicken or steak. It's simply way too expensive considering the tiny protein sizes. I will upload pictures next time, if I come back. read more

I'm so glad they opened a location in SD! This is like Tender Greens meets Chipotle, but better. They serve meat, but their menu is very plant forward, and they execute on vegetarian items so well. It will make the most unwilling veggie eaters actually enjoy veggies. Fresh is on the forefront here, and they have windows into their refrigerator, showcasing all the fresh produce. Download their app to get $5 off your first order. All their containers and utensils are compostable. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. read more
