Food is awesome. One of my favorite places to go for something quick, healthy and pretty filling. Accuracy is hit or miss and are often missing or out of key ingredient or elements to how you want your food (recent examples include bread, dressings and sweet potatoes). Ordered a Shroomami salad through DoorDash. Removed the tofu and paid three dollars extra for Parmesan cauliflower and three dollars extra for caramelized onions. The salad arrived with TWO slices of mushroom on it, two slices of onion, one piece of cauliflower with a few other teeny tiny pieces. So what did I pay $28.00 for? A plate of dry, shredded kale I could barely choke down with a ramekin of sweet and unimpressive tasting dressing that Kraft could have made, and a small scoop or rice. Called DoorDash for a refund which was a whole ordeal. I'd give this place a second chance if they actually put the ingredients in the salad they claim to put in there. But I'd go in person to make sure they do before I pay three dollars for a piece of cauliflower and another three dollars for two slices of onion again. read more

This place used to be good, but I couldn't even order when I saw the mess this whole place was tonight. This is the food station, what a mess! Honeymoon is over! They have realized they are the only game in town, so they stopped caring. They are routinely out of one of your ingredients. My guess the problem falls somewhere between trying to save a buck (as they know once you are in the store your only alternative close by is a bad fast food burger at shake shack) and bad order management. Psst, they make software for that. The app has been a problem from day one. Early on there was unexplainable login problems, which I created a new email address just get around this issue. I was happy to see it got resolved. The issue for over a year is that they don't read the comment or add-on in the mobile orders. My wife always adds avocado to the chicken pesto parm. And EVERY TIME they forget to add it. We have gotten wise and check the order before driving away. But it is not just the add-ons. Sometimes it is mixed, has bread or over dressed. Lack of consistency has me looking for alternatives. Sweet Greens needs competition to put them in their place. read more

I've been to many Sweetgreens and this experience was less than acceptable. Upon entering, it was not busy at all. There was one patron waiting to be serviced, and there was only one employee making bowls and ringing customers up, yet there were about 8 employees in the back. I understand shifts and different stations that you may be working, but if you see multiple people in line, it makes zero sense that nobody came to help. Once helped, we got the BBQ chicken salad and a custom bowl. The employee did not offer bread, and did not ask if I wanted the dressing tossed. Every sweetgreen I've been to asks that and when I said I wanted it tossed, she gave me a look of inconvenience. I've heard about sweet green for a while but visited today for the first time. The pictures of the new fries made me drive the distance! I got there about 30mins after they opened (10:30am). Parking is a nightmare. I was just about to give up when a spot opened up. The man serving me was nice and polite. The salad I chose was super yummy. The fries were not worth the drive. They must have been made before opening and had been sitting there for the 40+ minutes. They were cold and dried out. Surprisingly the pickle ketchup was very yummy as I'm not a pickle person! I ordered through Grubhub. The delivery was quick and on time but the food was awful! I ordered my daughter the the kids chicken meal. The picture online looked good but my daughter got shredded chicken. Instead of sweet potato wedges it was basically sweet mash potatoes. They were both very cold as well. I paid $25 for a very disappointing salad. I paid the $6 for the extra steak. It looked like it had been diced up and in a fridge for days. I also got just a few pieces. I paid for extra blue cheese and barely got any at all... the sweet potato in my salad was super mushy. Both my steak and sweet potato were VERY cold as well. I ended up having to make a different dinner for my daughter, throwing out my salad and thank goodness my husband did not get anything because that would of been gross as well and more money down the drain... We were on a road trip so we went out of our way to Carlsbad from Bay Park to pick up dinner for the four of us. Kind of hard to eat in the car but worth the hassle. Customer service was a bit behind, I saw a few people in the back that were doing nothing and could have helped the 2 up front and sped up the long lines. Walked in on a Friday at 12:30pm (lunch hour) and there was 3 people in front of me. There was only 1 employee taking/ making the orders so it was very slow! The employee didn't even seem to know what she was doing. She had to look at a card to help her make each order so that took up even more time.
