My first Chick-Fil-A experience was in Memphis Tennessee, I was so fond of the chicken sandwich and found it to be the best chicken sandwich of any fast food establishment. Recently I found out that the Queens Center Mall now homes a CFA in its food court and I was so excited to try it. I ordered the original chicken sandwich meal ( #1), I anxiously unwrapped my sandwich but once I lifted the bun and saw there was only a chicken patty, with a few pieces of pickles, I felt slightly disappointed because it looked awfully plain. However, Please don't let this plain Jane look fool you, because this baby was packed with flavor. The bun was really soft and slightly toasted with a buttery flavor. The Meat was juicy and tender, it's everything you'll ever want in a chicken sandwich. I smiled and did my little dance with every bite. The Fries were also great, they're not too oily or greasy. Update since last review. New experience with Chick-fil-A. I took another chance with a different franchise {Staten Island } Get the kids meal, choice of 3 things not for big appetites but for a quick bit it works for me. ALSO I buy chicken that is breaded so it moves isn't sitting out. So far they are getting it right. Very pleasant staff, clean, they even come over when they are not busy and ask if everything is ok. I was very harsh in my last review, after the food poisoning. I still say cooperate didn't handle it the right way but gave them another chance, this franchise is totally different. The company is a amazing , food is amazing , BUT THIS LOCATION Sucks ! if you order curbside be prepared to wait there for a loooonnnng timeee , they don't even attempt to come all the way out to check for your cars even though I was right there with my flashers . This was my first time at a Chick-fil-A. I've heard crazy stories of how long their lines can get, but lucky for me, there was no one waiting on line when I came. I had the original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich and Waffle Potato Fries. I've never been a fan of waffle fries, but I thought these were awesome. And the chicken sandwich was very good too. The worst part about eating at this location is that because it's in a food court, you need to be like a vulture to be able to locate a table. I've been a fan of Chick-fil-A for years mostly from dining experiences when I visit my family in North Carolina. When I learned they had a franchise coming to NYC I was super excited. I did venture to the city to try the spot in Manhattan but the lines were soo long that I didn't have time to wait. Lo and behold they open a spot in my hood, woo hoo. I took the train to get lunch here to avoid paying for parking in this crazy congested area. When I arrived, to my surprise there was only one person in front of me. I had a little time to check out the small menu. I decided on the spicy chicken meal and I didnt have to wait for my food. I originally planned to do take out and enjoy lunch at home. However, I was starving and just decided to sit and eat my meal in the large food court area in the mall. OMG, I am so happy I sat and ate my food since it was still hot and oohh sooo good. I didn't have high expectations like the tastes you get in the South but it was very very close. The bread from the chicken sandwich was warm and soft. The fries were hot, crispy and nicely seasoned. Even my iced tea was really good. My friends told me I was overreacting about the meal because I was so hungry. That could be true but I was really satisfied and with my fast food lunch and I will return to check out some other menu items. read more

Love that there's a Chick-fil-A in the area! Chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. And their service is always super sweet, even with their curbside pandemic setup. They have a tent on the sidewalk under the second floor of Queens Center Mall, right where the busses roll through. It's congested, loud, and dirty. Still the servers are super upbeat and friendly! My favorite fast food. The staff here truly go over and beyond, and not just at this location. Each and every Chik fil A location I have visited has been A+ bar none. The customer service is awesome, they really show customer appreciation. They are friendly, and attentive. It's no wonder these guys always have a line. And I have been praying for a Chik Fil A to open up in NY forever!! I am thrilled there are several now within commutable distance, they seemed to have popped up all over NYC all at once. My brother came to visit with his family (shortly after this location opened up) and my sister in law quipped to go to Chik Fil A and I was overwhelmed because I shamelessly told her I can not eat another chik fil a nugget because I have visited almost every day since this location opened up. YES. I LOVE it that much. I used to drive to jersey in Paramus just to get my fix. Then they opened up where I worked in the city by Penn Station...and yes, I became a regular pretty quickly there. Now Chik Fil A is here at Queens mall...its a 10 min drive for me to get to these guys. I love their app is on point, so ordering is a breeze. And yes, they know me by name when I go pick up my mobile order and I have held back on reviewing because now they realllllly will know me, LOL!! Chik fil a sandwich with pepper jack cheese with their waffle fries, BBQ sauce and unsweetened iced tea hands down, all the time. The milk shakes are TDF when I feel like spoiling myself (ha!). The kids meals come with a choice of fruit or fries, juice, an educational toy (think board games, and golden books --the ones i grew up reading) and an ice cream cone. Kids gobble up their nuggets and sometimes instead of fries/fruit they opt for the chicken noodle soup. Don't let the line discourage you. So this past Monday was my first time ever dining on Chick-fil-A. Even though I lived in Virginia for 2 years where there is an abundance of Chick-fil-A in the Hampton Roads area, I still never tried the food. Until this week that is. I had the Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap. The young lady at the counter was kind enough not to laugh at me after hearing me ask if the wrap was hot or cold. To be fair, I did warn her I had a stupid question and she was a good sport and didn't give me flack for it. I'm assuming because it was a cold wrap, that is why my food was prepared and handed to me so quickly. I didn't get to eat the wrap until 4 or so hours later but man, was it tasty. I didn't expect that at all. The flavor profile actually reminded me of my favorite hummus chicken wrap and I ate it with the Avocado Lime Ranch dressing. Delicious. I'm actually plotting another reason to go back to the mall this upcoming week to get another one. I'm sure the fried chicken and the ice cream are delicious but I may have found my forever item that I'll only order from them. Stop in and visit if you can. read more

I was soooooo excited about this new Chick-fil-A the second one in NYC. But that quickly changed as soon as I received my food. It was HORRIBLE, nothing like when you go down south. The fries were soggy. The chicken did not taste as fresh as down south locations. I took back my fries, the boy at the counter had a little attitude about it. They need to be trained customer service wise, and cook wise from people from the down south locations. North CAROLINA, Georgia wherever you can get them, Please! Literally called my name within seconds after I clicked on prepare my order. I got a free order of fried chicken nuggets and they gave me a free cookie. Best part of the meal...the cookie which was really sweet and probably full of chemicals just like their other menu items. The chicken nuggets sucked. I ate 5 pieces, gave the rest to L. Seriously these things cost $4.75? I didn't know how much they were at the time but I had to look it up just now to fulfill my curiosity. They're like little odd shaped pieces of somewhat stringy salty chicken. I wouldn't really call it a chicken nugget. This is my second time in my life trying Chick-fil-A and I simply do not understand how this chain has survived. The food is terrible. Maybe stop making chicken products and start baking cookies. Not that the cookie was great, but in my opinion it's much better than their chicken. I'm still amazed at how fast the order came out but the pick up line is never long. I also tried their grilled chicken nuggets which might have been worse than the fried ones. Imagine cheap generic supermarket chicken injected with liquid, seasoned with lots of salt and other chemicals and grilled. I cannot believe I even managed to swallow one and although I should've just thrown the rest away... I saved it and gave a lil to one of our families' cats. He loves human food but I only gave him a lil bit and I still threw away the rest. It's not a lot of food, it's just horrible...one of the worst fast food I've ever had in my life. This Chick-fil-A in QCM food court is great! You can pretty much expect the same great service and quality as most other Chick-fil-A restaurants. The line wasn't that busy on a Wednesday night during the holiday season when I went with my crew. I had a chocolate shake and their chicken tenders. Chocolate shake tasted pretty standard and on par with other Chick-fil-A restaurants, although my tenders were on the dry side. This is the only Chick Fil A in Queens; it's located in the food court of Queens Center Mall. My 1st time trying CFA, was 3 years ago, when they opened here. I had their original chicken sandwich; I thought it was ok; nothing special. Recently, I had the grilled chicken sandwich, & changed my mind. It was yummy! The sandwich was small, but, oh, so good. Filet was tender; & tasty. Now, if they can make it larger, I might be full after having it. Had the grilled chicken nuggets today; it came in a small container. I was very surprised when I opened it. The portion size looked so small; plus, they had no breading (I'm not used to seeing nuggets w/o some kind of coating). They looked like bite size pieces of chicken. Super tasty, & had a nice flavor to it. I would definitely come back, though I'm still not used to fast food being $10. Still not a fan of their fries. I might considering just getting the sandwich, & stepping over to McDonald's, which is in the same food court, for fries. Don't hate me, CFA fans! read more

There was souch hype surrounding Chick-fil-A when this location was opening up I'm Queens Center. I've never had it before until today. Service was outstanding. The chicken breast in the sandwich was large. I got the deluxe so it came with tomatoes and lettuce which I think should be standard. The tomatoes were thick cut. The presentation of the chicken sandwich was sloppy. I also ordered a kids meal for my son, 6 piece nuggets with waffle fries and apple juice. The nuggets we're actual pieces of chicken. It didn't look or tasted like the processed crap McDonald's and every other fast food joint serves. They did tasted kinda dry and overcooked. My son had 2 nuggets and didn't want anymore. The waffle fries were pretty decent. Light and golden. Verdict - I'm pretty neutral about Chick-fil-A right now. It was only my first time. I would like to try other items on their menu next time and give them a fair chance. As for the chicken sandwich, I prefer Shake Shack's chicken shack much more since they're both similarly priced. Nuggets were good with their dipping sauces, however if your kids are used to eating the processed nuggets from McDonald's or Burger King, they might not like these nuggets. The nuggets, I would give them a 8 out of 10. If they weren't so dark and overcooked, perhaps it would of been the perfect nugget. I was also surprised to see nobody at Chick-fil-A's line during lunch hour. But big thumbs up to the service and the cleanliness of their work stations. I love chick- Fil-A. There are a few reasons for this. The first reason is that I was one of the first 100 costumers to go the grand opening of a new restaurant (Hicksville). I was awarded a card that entitles me to one meal a week for an entire year (52 meals). This was awesome. Camping out was totally worth it. The second reason why I love this place is because they really care about costumer service and satisfaction. Their employees are better than the majority of the other fast food employees that I encounter. The third reason why this is a good place to eat is because the food is always good. I have never been disappointed. At some other fast food places the food isn't as fresh. Chick-Fil-A doesn't serve old food. Everything seems fresh. I like Chick-Fil-A very much. I am going to give them 5 stars because I don't have to pay for it (first 100 = big win). read more

I love CFA, I've had it in the South and multiple times in both of their city locations.. so it really breaks my heart to give the CFA which is closest and most convenient to my house such a low rating. First, let me know that for the month of September 2016, CFA is offering one free breakfast option on their app. Now, this CFA does not have breakfast. That's okay, kind of a bummer but honestly not a huge deal. I came to CFA on a Monday night around 7:30, waited on line for 10 minutes because they only had two registers. Unlike what others have said, they did not take my order while I was on line. Now.. I get the mall is closing soon (I mean IDK but I saw some guy cleaning) but the cashiers are ridiculously slow and I'm just so accustomed to the lightning fast CFAs in the city. I ordered (2) spicy chicken sandwiches, a (6) pc chicken nugget and large waffle fries. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT SO THAT WHEN YOU FILL OUT A SURVEY YOU CAN GET A FREE ORIGINAL CHICKEN SANDWICH! Anyways, it took them 10 minutes(since my receipt was printed) to fulfill this order. This is a LOT longer than any fast food restaurant in the entire food court, and honestly.. I don't mind waiting 10 minutes. In the grand scheme of things, it's not really that long BUT WHAT WAS MEMORABLE, was that they had over 14 people working on a Monday night AND you took 10 minutes!! There were more workers than there were customers at the time. Completely overstaffed, the workers could not really even turn around and move. ANDDD, most of these workers were spending time doing nothing anyways. After finally receiving my order, the guy repeats my order to me to make sure that everything I ordered is in the bag. Unnecessary step that adds to the serving time.. Just don't forget to include anything that I paid for, simple. Don't need to repeat my order to me.. The cashier is also quite skimpy with giving the sauces. I took a bite out of my waffle fries and though they were hot, THEY FORGOT TO SALT THESE WAFFLE FRIES. Disappointing experience. read more
