Chick-Fil-A recently opened this store on Sawmill Road. The restaurant is quite large, and the decor is one of the nicest I've seen in a fast food restaurant. The staff is great. Even when it's the busy lunch/dinner hours, they still provide fast, friendly service. The food is the usual Chick-Fil-A menu, and the dining area is very clean, even during the rush hours. Politics aside, I think Chick-Fil-A sets the gold standard for the fast food industry. Staff at Chick-Fil-A are always friendly and welcoming, whether it be at the counter or at the drive-thru. Any time you say "thank you" they follow up with a "my pleasure." They make good eye contact. They check to make sure people have been waited on. They chat with people at the drive thru if their order is taking a bit longer than expected. They genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. This particular franchise offers a few nice extras: - a frequent user card where once you've accumulated enough punches, you receive a free sandwich - a lovely children's play area (separated by a door from the dining area to minimize noise) - family-friendly activities throughout the week (although "daddy-daughter date night" weirds me out) - a patio with outdoor seating This restaurant is kept very clean and the property is well-maintained (the store was built in 2012 or 2013). Free WiFi is available at most Chick-Fil-A restaurants, I believe. Accessing CFA while going northbound on Sawmill requires you to enter at the light and use the service road around back. Accessing it going southbound, you use a feeder road that meets up with the service road. The restaurant is located across from popular shopping destinations like Kohl's, Target, and Dick's Sporting Goods, so it's a good place to refuel before moving on to your next big shopping destination. I've been a regular for Saturday morning breakfast runs. They open at 6:30, but business really starts to pick up as early as 7:00-7:30. I haven't branched out too much once I discovered the oh-so-tasty "spicy chicken biscuit" (don't worry, it's very mild). My bf introduced me to dipping the tater tots in Polynesian sauce. Definitely a win there too. I'm not sure you can actually get a burger here, which is fine by me. They do chicken well, from sandwiches to nuggets (although those nuggets can be quite miniscule). Food orders arrive plenty hot and the waffle fries are tasty and are sufficiently crispy. Don't forget to ask about dipping sauces for your chicken or fries--there are plenty to pick from, including Chick-Fil-A sauce, which has the creamy consistency of honey mustard (but honey mustard is also on the menu). My only concern would be the lack of vegetarian items on the menu; vegetarians are limited to fries/tots and maybe a garden salad. A veggie burger of some sort would be nice. If you're in the Sawmill Rd. area and are in a bit of a hurry, Chick-Fil-A is a good solid option if you're a meat-eater. Just don't forget: they're closed on Sundays. Went at the peak of lunch rush. Three lanes of cars wrapped around the building. It was like a symphony how smooth and easy the process was. Lots of SUPER friendly staff to guide the cars. Team members were knowledgeable and seemed to be taking great care or their customers and each other. Oh and the food was great too!! Way more than you dare expect from a fast food place. I really like Chick-Fil-A, and as far as fast food restaurants go, they definitely deserve those five stars. The food is high quality and it's easy to find healthy options. I always go for the regular chicken sandwich (no pickles) and the side salad. They have really good chicken noodle soup, which is my go-to when I'm not feeling well. The diet lemonade is downright addictive!!! For a few months, I bought it by the gallon until I came to my senses and realized that was costing me an arm and a leg! Thing I'm not so fond of: the creepy joy of the staff. Yes, I know they have to respond to a "thank you" with a "my pleasure!" but it gets to be a bit much. Or maybe I just say thank you too often. The other thing that I don't like is they're closed on Sundays. I understand why they do that, and I'm respectful of their decisions, but I like having those chicken sandwiches available EVERY DAY!! You order at the drive thru and pay there, then you park, bring your kiddos inside, and all your food is set up at a table, complete with high chairs, plastic placemats, hand wipes...seriously couldn't be any better. Chick Fil A in general is pretty good, and this location is great. The chicken here has a much thinner coating than KFC, so it is much less greasy. So when I am done I still acknowledge the guilt of having eaten friend chicken when it is not too good for you, but at least I don't have to do it with the physiological sensation of having sat down to a bowl of lard as I do when I leave KFC. We go about once a week and not once has anyone there been other than kind and attentive. I have always been asked if I wanted a refill, I have always been asked if the food was to my liking, and more often than note the clear the table for us while we sit and finish our drinks. Most times (Saturdays) they have folks playing music which is a nice change. The only frustration is that I often get the hankering for some chicken on Sundays. But then I remember that I would rather spend Sunday with my family too, so I accept it as a friendly reminder of what a blessing good fried chicken is when it is available. read more

So every now and again, my partner needs a fried chicken sandwich in his life. He is always a good sport when I want to visit a vegan/vegetarian establishment so I try to be equally supportive during his chicken cravings. Most recently, I grabbed a vegan burger from whole foods and some fries and fruit from Chick-Fil-A. I've said it before...I'm extremely easy to please when it comes to fries. If they're not burnt, hot and thoroughly cooked, I'm happy. Well, Chick-fil-a got 2 out of 3 right. The fries were lukewarm at best. My fruit cup, on the other hand, was better than expected. I've also had a salad here-- it comes with cheese though, so if you're not into dairy, stay away from the salad. The restaurant is clean and staff are all really nice. I didn't expect that in a fast food restaurant. All in all, chick-fil-a is not particularly worth you're time if you're not into chicken but there are a couple of items on the menu for people with dietary restrictions. read more

My first time going was back in 2019 is was blah...but going in 2020 delivering for postmates I visited frequently and it made me want to do this review. So, this is the location closest to our place and we go here often. Never have we had such an amazing experience as we just had! Pam was working drive thru when we came through to get our breakfast. She makes a comment about how we look like we're on a mission because we're ready to go for the day. We tell her we're just excited because we had just signed the papers for our first house and she made such a huge deal out of it! She was so happy for us, and there was so much honest joy from her. This place is great for breakfast. Their spicy chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich is a real treat. If you think it's a little too spicy, you can always dip it in the Polynesian sauce, which is fantastic as well (great for dipping your hash browns, fries, or any of the chicken sandwiches). Going through the drive thru was fast, and the workers are always extraordinarily friendly. They will likely chat you up if you have a short wait. It's very nice! We love Chick Fil A. We go to the one in our hometown often. We love the food, it's consistent where ever you go. Everyone is so nice at Chick Fil A. The only thing I can say about this one, as compared to the one back home is, at our local Chick Fil A, they bring the food to your table. At this one, they shout your name and you go back up to get your food. Also, back home, they come around and bring hand wipes and mints to the table, here, you are on your own. I know most people who yelp have been to Chick-fil-A, but I wanted to write a review since their food and service is always top notch....I usually go for the sandwiches, spicy chicken, grilled chicken or the regular chick-fil-A fried chicken sandwich...all of them are winners!! The waffle fries are a must, they are good on their own, stuffed in your sandwich or dipped in the Chick-fil-A sauce (which is more addicting than crack)....This morning I tried their breakfast bites, 10 mini chicken bites on a sweet roll...they are pretty amazing....also tried the grilled chicken with egg white and cheese.....glorious!! I know Chick-fil-A is fast food, but it by far the best fast food restaurant in the area....Did I mention their Shakes?? They are delicious, especially like the Peach shake, thick, creamy & chockfull of peaches....And of course the service their is 2nd to none, the people are genuinely nice and happy, unlike most places that you visit....Do yourself a favor and stop @ Chick-fil-A for a sandwich or meal, closed on sunday....good eating, may have to wait during lunch hours but worth it....Enjoy... read more

What a great example of how a restaurant should run! There's kids that work there that talk with much respect to adults wayyy better then I seen some adults. I don't think anyone that works there is over 18 but all have positive attitudes and are very courtesy the line was long but in five minutes there was two people on line. Food is good. But, if your child is injured, you're out of luck. Their insurance won't help (probably because their deductible is so high, due to being in the food industry.), and will blatantly deny the claim due to it being classified as "an accident". Well.. of course it's an accident, that's what the insurance is there for. Chick-fil-a, despite their insurance denying the claim, won't bother to try to make things right by paying the ER bill through corporate, which was the direct result of premises liability. So, this experience has put an extremely sour taste in our mouths and we advise anyone who eats there to be weary. In addition, we have begun the process to take legal action and look forward to having this rectified. read more

This was my first experience at a Chick-Fil-A, I have heard all the hype about service and food so my family gave it a try. We were blown away!!! It started with 1 of our 2 gift cards not working that we received from Christmas, without hesitation one of the managers came over and said it happens sometimes and just gave us credit for the non-working gift card. My wife and I discussed how no other fast food restaurant would even consider doing that, let alone doing it automatically without back story or pleading. Then after that the food did not disappoint.
