Okay, I need someone to explain the popularity of Chik Fil A to me. Let me say that I LOVE fast food; it's my main guilty pleasure. I don't eat it often, but when I do, it really needs to be worth the calories. McDonald's fries, a BK Whopper, oh yeah! And how I made it to 63 without trying Chik Fil A, I don't know. I always wanted to try it, and as I was on Sawmill Rd. at lunchtime, ohmigosh, my mouth was watering just thinking about it. The place was jammed and the getting the food out was really slow, but the counter folks were beyond pleasant. I went with just the classic chicken sandwich and waffle fries, to really get the Chik Fil A experience. Well, this is the sandwich that the word "meh" was invented for. The chicken was moist, and satisfyingly greasy, but tasted identical to the moist and greasy bun. As in, zero flavor. The chicken breast was too thick for the minimal crusting that was on it, and it had no seasoning whatsoever. The only thing that had any taste was the one lonely pickle slice in the middle. The waffle fries, on the other hand, were positively repulsive. Flabby, pale, raw tasting slices of potato with no detectable crispness. You can achieve the same effect at home with a bag of Ore Ida waffle fries and a microwave. I threw the whole tasteless mess in the trash, along with my $7. But at least I saved 1070 calories, which is what a chicken sandwich meal clocks in at. read more

This is the best chick fil a!! I live right down the street so I stop by at least twice a month. They always go above and beyond. I was there today 9/13 @2:15ish for lunch and the girl running the drive thru made the extra extra effort to make sure my order was correct. The crew is always amazing. read more

This Chick-fil-A is fantastic. They made my food wrong and when I drove home and realized it, I had to go all the way back. It was a salad missing some key ingredients. When I went back, they replaced my salad happily and free. They were exceptionally polite and gave me a free cookie. They were apologetic. If all fast food places were more like Chick-fil-A, the world would be a tastier place!!! read more

I'm sure everyone has been to a fast-food location where the workers may not be telling you to buzz off and they have may have kind words, you can sense deep down in the staff that they would rather not be there or even be alive. The staff at this Chick-fil-A are all a refreshing ray of genuine sunshine! Everyone is super friendly, I almost feel like if I asked them to do something like change my car oil or do my laundry that they wouldn't say no to it (but of course they would say no). The food on my two trips here has been consistently good and the prices for the food are appropriate too for the quality. read more

Absolutly wonderful! Just went with daughter and her family, 4 adults, 3 kids. The place was very busy and we were looking for a place to sit. Miss Sherry saw us and took over, found us a place and got the high chairs and made sure we got everything we needed. She checked back with us several times and brought the kiddos each a stuffed cow. The food as always was great and there was a man on a keyboard and a ladyvon guiatar singing a variety of songs in the background. 5 plus stars and a special shout out to Sherry! read more

My family goes here about once a week or every other. It's about the only place my little boy with autism will even consider eating out at. He loves it, always. It's his big treat and a big motivator for him. The staff always treats us so kindly, they have even come to give him a free ice cream cone simply because they made an extra. It's refreshing to go to a fast food place that has such a nice family atmosphere and the employees do not act annoyed by your presence. Hard to imagine, maybe, but this was our first trip to CFA. I downloaded their app and we got in the drive-thru line which was busy at 7:48pm. We had checked out the menu and knew what we wanted. I got a reward for signing up for the app of 8-piece nuggets. When I ordered, I told her (Jessica) this. The order was really, really wrong. In her defense, she did repeat the order back to me, but at such rapid speed that it was unintelligible and sounded like one big run-on sentence. I should have asked her to repeat it more slowly, but I think she may have relied on no one understanding but still saying yes since people were lined up behind. So my bad that I let it go. We got home and the food was delicious, the only reason for 2 stars. My husband ordered the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich combo, with waffle fries and a small coffee. I ordered the 8-piece nuggets then added waffle fries and sweet tea. I wondered why the amount we paid seemed too high. Well, I gave her the app to scan and yes, it took it off, but she had given me TWO orders of nuggets! So sure didn't save me money there. My sweet tea was clear! Turned out to be Sprite. My husband was charged for a small coffee so it's fine, but it was HUGE. Maybe that's their normal small? She never offered or asked me about dipping sauces. Since I perused the menu ahead of time, I knew they offered some good ones and I asked her if I could get some. She obliged me but thought since I was ordering one (and she thought two) chicken nuggets that she would have asked/offered. Also, I think her problem was talking to co-workers constantly and maybe that's why she got the order so wrong. Even when we held out our credit card for her to take, she was completely turned around talking to another female co-worker. My husband was getting tired of holding it up for her. I read the reviews saying how great their service is, so this whole thing surprised me. I can't see us ever going back and I've deleted the app. Not a great experience if CFA is seeking new customer acquisition. read more

Great place for kids! We had 3 generations there, and the kids were getting fussy as we we finishing our lunch. Sherri came to our table to see how things were and asked the kids if the liked ice cream. She brought a cone with sprinkles for my granddaughter, and a special kids toy for my grandson. So they finally have made some improvement with managing their lines. Still involves negotiating your way around the whole restaurant, when they are busy, but at least they have a system now. So my last trip I was picked for a get one free survey. Kind of cool, I thought, but their online system wouldn't take the serial number on my receipt. Called their customer service line and the guy asks for all the info on the receipt, serial #, transaction #, date, location etc. So now I have about an hour into trying to get a free sandwich, which I'll probably have to wait in line to get. So the rep says, we'll be in touch via email soon. 4 days later, I get an email asking for all the same info over again. Man, you guys need to get your system together. What could have been a positive experience is now another point of frustration with your company. Most top shelf companies would have given a code with the first call and then worked things out internally. Guess you guys missed the last customer service class. read more
