    Literally disgusting

I went to Charley's for lunch today and was shocked when I got home to see a HARD PIECE OF PLASTIC INSIDE OF MY LEMONADE. How could they not see this in there when they poured the drink?!?

For some reason this location has a track record of sending out wrong orders for us and tonight was no exception. Even with the manager taking our order and repeating it back to us for accuracy all three sandwiches were delivered to our table wrong. The staff was nice, apologized, and remade the sandwiches as we had ordered but the streak continues. The general manager followed up with a visit to our table to ensure everything was made right and tasted good. I think the primary source of confusion is their ordering system. Most Charleys locations ask you what cold toppings you want as part of their cooking assembly line. For some reason this location asks you this upfront but their register system doesn't provide that flexibility as it only captures what hot customizations you want (no onion, no green pepper, no mushrooms, etc.) The dining area has always been clean and the beverage area well stocked. Once the orders were correct they were tasty which is why we come back but the constant trend of it being wrong has become a running joke for our family.

I dont what to think about Charly's. So its name usually says cheesesteak. And at one time the chain had eatable cheesesteaks. But I recent years they have added chicken tenders, chicken wings, chicken "cheesesteak" sammies (no steak, just chicken on the sammie). And worst of all, mayo is part of the standard sammie. Yuck. The other things are of average flavor. On our most recent visit, we picked 2 10 piece "wings" combo. The chicken was part drumsticks and part wings. We ordered 2 types of rub and 2 types of the sauce. The chicken with the ribs tasted like plain chicken. No hint of the rub was detected by at least one of us. The sauces were flavorful, but too sweet. Worst of all is the 30 plus mins it took to wait for the food. None of the food was inedible . It was okay. Which is why I gave 3 stars.

We ordered online for lunch and the service was great. The servers in the store were very friendly as well. The sandwiches left a lot to be desired. We ordered a Chicken California, Chicken Philly, and a regular Philly with fries. All of them barley have anything on them. It's more bread than meat & toppings. And the only toppings I can make out are the lettuce & tomatoes. No onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc.

Tried chicken cheesesteak for first time. Was great. Only wish it had a little more meat. Next time I will try double meat.

Got our order wrong. Of course we're all the way back home now, by the time we make it back they would be closed.

Charley's used to be attached to a gas station at this location and it was just dreary and not the most inviting place.

It's a fry lovers dream. Chicken wings are a must too. These babies are fried to the perfect crisp and tossed in one of numerous house made sauces. You can tell the chef puts a lot of hard work and love into the vast array of dishes on the menu. Check this place out.

It's been awhile since hearing their name, so I was happy to get a chance to try out their Philly-style cheesesteaks when I was at HHBG for an OSU game. I ordered The New Guy, subbed chicken for the steak. The cheese whiz mixed with the grilled chicken chunks and green peppers and onions was primo; creamy and dreamy. I didn't even bother with their special sauce; it was innecessary, imo; the sweetness wasn't a good ting-to-yang thang. And the bread is so so sooo good: Made fresh in-house daily, soft and pliable, a great carrier mechanism. My only suggestion would be to make the sandwiches more compact. Mine basically all fell apart as soon as I attempted to unwrap some of the white sandwich paper. Lost a little bit of my hyped anticipation. All in all, I'd definitely get a cheesesteak from Philgeddaboutit again next time I'm at Hey Hey.

It's the kind of place where you go when you are completely obliterated and need that relatively quick hunger fix. And hey, why not pick up another twelve pack while you're there? Sure there's better food out there, but who wants to make any kind of decisions after a long night of drinking? These guys have the perfect solution. Let's cram it all on one big ol' sandwich (or wrap, but don't think that's even putting a dent in the calories) and serve it to the drunk masses. Personally, I think PJ's is the bomb. It's definitely a guilty pleasure that should be enjoyed in extreme moderation. Their fat sandwiches are packed full of goodies and are fairly cheap. My personal favorite? The fat bitch. It's packed with buffalo chicken strips, mac'n'cheese bites, beer fries, cheese sticks, and smothered with ranch dressing. If eaten drunk, you won't even notice the toll taken on your body. It'll just be a part of the hangover. But be warned. If eaten sober, be prepared for a nuclear explosion in your stomach followed by a morning of "nuclear fallout". I would suggest trying this beautiful Frankenstein of a sandwich. But please, do so at the end of a long night at Out 'R Inn.

Fat Sandwich: I don't recall the name of the sandwich I ordered. It was the fat something or other. But there were large chicken tenders drenched with a Buffalo mayo sauce. There are also really good crispy fries and a little bit too much fried mac and cheese. The bread roll is soft and tasty, more than capable of sustaining all the meaty and saucy options that PJ's offers. This gut buster is a perfect start or end to a long night out along High Street.
