Wow! This place was busy. I now know where everyone is on a Thursday night. We had about a 35 minute wait. Once seated the service was ok. It wasn't very attentive. I've ordered food to go from Roosters but this is my first time sitting and dining in the restaurant. The energy was fun and family oriented. I saw birthdays, dates, and groups of friends all having a good time under the same roof. I got a Rooster's wrap and some onion feathers. I was craving onion rings so this seemed like a good alternative. I was wrong. They were good at all. I would definitely not order them again. The wrap was good. I'd come back to dine here. I came back to this rooster and it was another amazing experience. Raulegh was my server again. I spelled her name wrong in my first review lol. She was great and made me smile. I tried the new hot honey traditional wings they were good and I had the buffalo cauliflower bites. My waitress Raulegh suggested Korean barbecue instead of buffalo. We came in mid-day on a Saturday hoping to seat a party of 10. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating - and they were VERY busy! It was a nice day, so we were able to sit at one of the huge outdoor picnic tables, which was perfect for us. It was a bit windy, but it was under cover and there was no wait (even better!) Our server was Rachel and she was awesome. Super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything -- she had a giant party outside in addition to our party of 10. I've only been to Roosters maybe one other time. I was really happy with my naked wings with sweet Thai chili sauce! I'm avoiding gluten as often as possible due to a sensitivity and the wings definitely hit the spot. They're not cheap (about $15 for 10 large wings), but it's really what I wanted and I would get it again. Everyone really liked their food - the fish sandwich, chicken tenders, and onion feathers with the horseradish sauce were all noted as being really good. Holy Crap! I had three 22 Oz. beers and an order of 5 wings and it came to just over $20 bucks! That would easily cost me 40 in some places. The beer was cold (Miller Lite, then Modelo) and the wings were a nice size and delicious. I have usually gone to the one on Olentangy, but it had a little oopsie fire. Roosters is a pretty solid choice for wings and such. Know that it gets pretty crowded and kind of loud during sporting events. I don't think it particularly matters which kind, they show a lot! The service is quick and the portion sizes are generous. I like the Sweet Thai Chili wings, though I think I'll switch to boneless! I also really like the popcorn shrimp appetizer. They toss the little shrimps in your preferred wing sauce, so garlic parm or Thai chili tossed shrimp? Yes please. They also do pretty good salads, with a lot of add ons and modification options. I also tend to enjoy the pizza, again, very modifiable, and not huge, and I love that your group doesn't have to decide between wings and pizza. I find the prices here reasonable, too. read more

Typically I enjoy Roosters, however, when I ordered to-go we did not receive our ranch dressing. I would recommend always checking your to-go orders prior to leaving because they may not check themselves! We love to go to roosters for a quick meal. Roosters has the best price for this kind of food compared to any other places in town I'm aware of. Almost always very quick service, but gets packed during sports events. Henderson Rd is our favorite location in central Ohio. The Rosters Nest as an entree instead of an app is my go to. read more

Today, Tony and I stopped at Roosters in Henderson, right outside north of Columbus, OH. The sun was trying to come out and the temperature rose to 55 degrees. We were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was not that busy. We were greeted & seated immediately. We had decided to try something different ,so we choose to share the Big Bob Burger and Hot Buffalo Chicken Mac n'cheese...I had a soda and Tony a couple draft Budweisers. Great place until they recently substituted Bodhi for Columbus IPA. 2% higher ABV. Why would they stop carrying our/my favorite beer? I really like to down a few but not the higher alcohol blends. That said, it's a deal breaker for us. Yogi's and everyone else carries Columbus IPA. We will go elsewhere. So long old friend! Hopefully when they reopen the Olentangy location, they will carry Columbus IPA there. 4.5 stars, 5 if they carried Columbus IPA. PS, they always give great pours! To the brim! read more

My fiancé and I tried roosters a few weeks back for the first time and we absolutely loved it! We were in the area and stopped by to grab a quick bite. We each got a 10 piece wing naked in their hot sauce with a side of ranch and this time actually asked for the wings to be well done because I like them a little bit more crispy. Tuesday 4:00pm May 31, 2022 The entire kitchen staff was outside at a meeting that was ongoing before my GF and I sat down to eat. They didn't finish until our meal was over. To the mystery cook/chef in the kitchen... THANK YOU I used to work at Roosters in Cincinnati back in 2007-2008. I have never in my life gotten such perfectly cooked fried food from Roosters before. It's always expected typical bar food. They absolutely crushed it today... I can actually take my fried pickles and fried fingers home and reheat it without worrying about soggy or gross left overs. I really like this franchise. Despite the fact that it started in Ohio, their fried chicken ain't too bad! I came to meet friends at 5 o'clock on a Monday and they weren't quite busy yet. The parking area closest to the building was already filled and their were lots of people inside. Thankfully, the parking lot shares with a ton of businesses, so if you walk further from the main lot, there are always plenty of spots! By the time we left, there were tons of groups waiting for a table! Wow! This franchise is ever busy! No matter which location you go to! Anyway, our server was on her toes the whole time but kept a smile on her face. She seemed like she could've been a grad student at OSU. I ordered sweet tea because it's pretty good here! I also got 5 boneless wings with medium sauce and BBQ sauce on the side. I also got a side of their house made chips. So yum! It had a nice seasoning on it. My friend got 5 boneless wings with mild sauce and wedges on the side. She enjoyed! Getting to choose your spice level is pretty cool! The medium isn't super spicy, in my opinion. It's got a little heat, but not enough to make your tongue burn. My other friend got a quarter pounder burger, which was a build your own. She put onion, lettuce, and blue cheese on it with sides of pickles and mayo. She also got wedges. She loves the burgers here! The selling point here are the cheap prices! They are unbeatable! I'm always pretty stuffed. I'm down to try other stuff on the menu, including the Rooster's Nest, upon another Yelper's suggestion. When I'm Columbus, it's White Castles for burgers, Gatto's for pizza, and Roosters for great chicken wings. Big wings, you're not cheated, and not overly sauced and gooey. Love it medium because it has a bit of spice but I also want to taste the nicely fried chicken. I'll take Roosters over Wingstop, Buffalo Wild Wings, and other chains anytime. Welp I'm anticipating talking with Janessa (in the morning) whom I imagine maybe a real manager at this location because after attempting to talk to two different people about our issue this evening instead of them actively listening and being solution oriented I was argued with. Brittany ("alleged manager") has an terrible attitude, no people skills, poor comprehension and would rather argue than to apologize and provide a solution. Mind you we received $5 off from the last visit where they messed up our order and they somehow did it again. I understand mistakes happen however after paying for food that I could've used to patronize tons of other businesses only to be met with someone mixing up what's being explained and trying to avoid where they went wrong along with an attitude isn't good business! I expressed my frustration because their mistakes cost us time, money and ultimately stuck with something we didn't ask for or missing something we essentially paid for. The issue is that Taylor (hostess) took the order and as you can see from the pictures although she rang it in correctly somehow the kitchen made a mistake. My partner's food wasn't the requested flavors and you can see it on the box compared to the receipt. Now I would've said it wasn't a big deal had it tasted like the flavors we asked for but my partner said it didn't taste like it because as we can see it wasn't accurate. I've always thought Roosters has the best chicken wings (both bone-in and boneless) in town... but my wife has always preferred BDub's wing sauces. Only recently did I discover that Roosters will let you order their boneless wings with the sauce on the side! Now we can order Roosters wings every time and my wife can just use her store bought BDubs Parmasean Garlic sauce for her portion. This is also a great option in general for takeout wings since the wings tend to get soggy and lose their crunch when it's pre-marinaded in sauce for takeout. We came on a very busy night, but got a seat pretty quickly. The waitress was nice and she checked on us a few times! This place has a very small parking lot, but there's plenty of parking at the shopping center behind it, there's free WiFi, and a few TVs. This is a good spot for casual dates, family dinner, or groups of friends. I usually get the Sweet Thai Chilli bone in wings and they're my absolute favorite! I also recommend the Korean sauce because that one is also really good, but they both have a bit of a kick. I also love Roosters friend mac and cheese bites because you can't get them at many places and they're so good. Wow...I saw something new I had to try off of the test menu called cauliflower wings. Make no mistake, Roosters is a bona fide wings establishment. The fried chicken salads and boneless wings are amazing. This place has so many things that are consistently good. I've had their buffalo chicken pizza, turkey burger, fish sandwich, BLT, Italian sub, fried chicken sandwich...you name it. The sauce line up...solid and you can create some great combinations. Periodically, certain location will test new sauce flavors like now, Sawmill location has one called burning blackberry. In terms of food, my go to is the fried chicken salad tossed in donkey and barbecue w/ blue cheese. My son turned me on to the combination of garlic and hot...which is my go to for boneless. The traditional and boneless wings are good size and cooked perfectly. Traditional wings, all drums with donkey and garlic sauce is money! Probably can tell, I come here a lot...well...I like good food, consistency, quality, value and variety. Last feeding, I went with the cauliflower wings and six boneless. Cauliflower wings...keeper! Fried just right and the hot sauce was perfect. Many places try and cook them too long and it's a disaster. I've had variations of buffalo cauliflower but hands down Rooster's is the best thus far. Friday night, early, not very crowded. Wife and I ordered 10 boneless chicken wings with Carolina sauce. The order arrived with the wings cold (tasted like leftovers) slathered in sauce (We prefer to dip). We asked the waitress for a replacement order, which the manager subsequently served with a perfunctory, insincere, and quick apology. The re-order now consisted of 10 overcooked wings (they made sure it was warm), but at least it wasn't slathered. We decided not to complain again, but we will not return. I've been to this place twice actually just never reviewed it. This place is a great restaurant. Of all the Roosters I've been too, they all live up to the hype. It's easy to find a seat here, but harder on the weekends or game day. Plentiful amount of parking. The staff is really friendly and courteous. The food is definitely out of this world! I love their curly fries, their spicy grilled chicken sandwich was outstanding and their boneless wings that this place is synonymous with was absolutely scrumptious! If you haven't tried the Korean BBQ garlic, put that on your to-do list. They are fantastic. What I like about Roosters is it's a large restaurant. Even on a busy night, the wait isn't long. I stopped here for a quick bite to eat while making runs. I hadn't had Rooster's in at least 7 years. I almost forgot how much I loved it here. I ordered wings and dumpster fries. The fries were a bit salty so I didn't finish them. I don't think I can get them again unless I have someone the share them with me. Haha. The chicken was amazing as always. The service was great. We get carryout from here frequently. The order has always been 100% correct, fresh, and ready on time. They do a great job.

Plenty of screens - you could (Almost) walk to the stadium and close to campus it's my go to for when I want to be in with a bunch of fans. There are a few of these sprinkled around, Stonecreek Drive is good as well. Chicken is Always piping hot, I just walk there so, parking is not an issue. If you don't want bones in the wings, they have you covered. They have a great deal where you can have some nince chicken breasts and a side of fries for under $10.00 if you think about it this is fast food prices and casual dining service. My go-to casual hangout spot/take-out meal during this designated time of COVID-19...if there's one place that'll challenge me to not deviate from my usual order, it's roosters. I always order the traditional wings with sauce on the side so as not to eat soggy wings. My absolute favorite is their medium and garlic MIXED --the perfect mix of bold flavors that'll make your chicken taste heavenly...I also order an appetizer of their crispy mac n cheese bites and their dumpster fries/tots with extra jalapeños on the side.
