To employees were rude to me in front of my guests. I ordered three meals we were sitting on a table of eight. They forgot one order of fries. I simply asked for them they immediately asked me for my receipt. I gave them my receipt and then questioned me Where the fries were. Then she proceeded to say that she needed to go talk to her manager manager comes to my table and asks for the receipt again told her they have it she asked where are the fries? I said you know what never mind I was so embarrassed and amazed on how rude they were to me, she walked away. Came back with fries before she walked away. Having been to many Chick-Fil-A locations in several different states the food is all the same. A spicy chicken sandwich in Downey, CA is the same as it is in Salt Lake City, or Atlanta, GA. No difference. So food wise this location is no different than the rest and that's a good thing. The problem is this location is painfully slow. When the drive thru line is looped back around almost to the entrance, and it takes you 20 minutes to get through from start to finish, that's ridiculous. And on our visit they got our order wrong. We repeated it, they read it back, but someone inside apparently didn't read the screen and we got shorted on our order. 2 Stars. No matter how good the food might be, you can't give good marks for food that you paid for but didn't get. read more

All horrible experience with my food, staff is always friendly and helpful but 3x out of 5 my order was INCORRECT, I never have this problem at the one in the City of Industry. Anyway, example i ordered TWO Orders of the 4pc Chicken strips...That was what my receipt said....I got 4 pc strips and 8pc nuggets....I didn't want Nuggets I wanted Strips :| another order placed, 2 chicken deluxe and 12 nuggets...I got 2 chicken deluxe and a extra Coke? :(, idk where the coke came from but that was my order. Asked my name for the order i said Dee they put me as Mayra Then, the chicken wasn't warm as it usually it is nor did it have much breading to it. Usually have a good experience here with great customer service. This morning I was heavily disappointed. Drove into their long drive-thru line at 10:53 looking to order some breakfast (which ends at 11am on Saturdays). By the time I got to the ordering screen it was a few minutes after 11, and the person taking orders said they couldn't give me breakfast anymore because they stop serving at 11. Delicious! I came to visit my Aunt last night and I was already feeling a bit lazy, so hearing that I had to come to Chick-fil-A made me feel even more lazy! I will admit, the drive through line was a bit long, but there was staff ready to take my order on foot. Even though the size of the line was enormous, the wait time was not. 20 minutes and we were out! We ordered 4 chicken sandwiches, 3 orders of fries, 1 order of chicken nuggets, 3 lemonades, and a small ice cream cone. The entire order was correct! Upon arriving to the window, I was presented with the largest ice cream cone in my life... even though I had ordered the small! One cannot complain about that. They already had the drinks in a cup holder, which was amazing because a lot of places wait until you ask for it. The food was given to us in two bags, and it all fit perfect. The only reason I am holding back from giving the establishment 5 stars is because of the lack of sauces they had given us. We only received 4 sauces, which was a bummer because we had to make that stretch across all our food. My review is based on my drive through experience though! I been going here for years! I love this location and Chick fill a in general! Food: The food is always out fast, and always fresh and really tasty. I usually get the spicy chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese, cookie yogurt parfait and an Arnold palmer with unsweet tea. Also, if you want to eat healthy they have healthy options such as the spicy southwest salad, it's sooo good with chili lime vinaigrette. The grilled deluxe with honey roasted sauce is also delicious. Also, if you're feeling breakfast the chicken minis are the best. You can even order them during regular lunch hours if you get 10 of them. Super tasty and expect the best quality. Chick fill a is a little more on the high end of fast food, so you get what you pay for. They very rarely mess up my order, and if for whatever reason it does happen they'll always been sure to fix it. Also when ordering food be sure to use your app for free treats! Service: The service is great, the staff is always polite even during rushes. They regularly ask you if you want a refill on your beverage as long as it's not busy. The staff is really well trained and you can tell they work well as a team. The only bad side of chick fill a is the app and the same inconsistent results I have with the app... There was one time when it automatically use one of my treats when I didn't want to use it and I told a female manager(?) with a blue shirt and curly hair... I didn't want to use my free treat and all she said was "oh it's automatic" and she was really looked kind of annoyed and straight faced about it.... I don't want to name names but every time I come to chick fill a and she helps me I'm never greeted with a warm welcome and she generally just looks fed up when I ask questions... anyways another time I informed a different cashier I didn't want to use my treat, and she said "no problem" and it ended up using my treat anyway. It wasn't a big deal since it happened before, but she called a manager to come and reverse it for me... So this manager actually went out of her way undo using the treat for me when the other manager said "oh yeah whoops." And then today I went to chick fill a and the I asked the cashier if I could not using any rewards this time and he went out of his way to make sure it wasn't used. I know the app itself isn't chick fill As problem, since it's created by corporate .... but I just wish all the employees were on the same page when it comes it the app.., and I know it's probably not anyone's fault, I mostly just wish that one manager was nicer, especially since she's a manager/teamleader/etc. Over all: chick fill a is great! Fast service! And I mean fast that I was surprised. Please keep it fast. I have a 30 minute lunch break, so I was worried that it might take too long to drive there, wait for my order, and drive back. I timed my drive, hoping the food will be ready in 10 minutes or less so can drive back to work in time. It took me 9 minutes to drive to the Downey location. The drive thru had a lot of cars so I chanced walking inside hoping it'll be faster. 3 minutes later I got my food: chicken deluxe sandwich, fries, and lemonade. Friendly staff! This was my first time here and the moment I walked in, the staff (all that I came in contact with) was welcoming me and smiling. It made me feel comfortable and at ease. If I didnt have to go back to work, I'd eat in at this Chick-fil-A. I guess Im not use to nice welcomes from other places because the warm, friendly atmosphere felt weird at first. Im just not used to a welcoming entrance and friendly service, but Id go here because theyre so friendly. Other places should learn from the Downey Chick-fil-A. But maybe this Chick-fil-A tends to hire friendly, positive people, who knows. Love the positive service here! Delicious food! Seriously loved the food. The chicken was so crispy and juicy. It was a huge sandwich. I dont usually eat things that big, but I scarfed it all down in one sitting because it was so good. And the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The lemonade, omg, loved it too! I dont drink a lot of fluids, but with that lemonade, I kept adding water to it just so I can keep tasting the lemonade. lol. All together the food cost over eight dollars, which was expensive for me, so I cant always eat here, but the food is worth it. They also have a self serve sauce station!!
