You have to drive around a little coffee stand and then take a short drive to get to the back of this place. Very cozy little convenience store in Deli. I opted for the 12 inch egg salad sub. They packed it full of ingredients and it was busting out of the paper that it was wrapped in. Service at the Deli was outstanding and the cashier in the front was equally as polite and kind. Lots of different food and beverage options and I can't wait for my next visit to try another sub. Highly recommend this place.

The deli itself is excellent, and everything is made fresh to order. I grabbed a sausage breakfast sandwich on a bagel (you get to choose your bread), and it was a really good size for just $6. Perfect way to start the day! I also tried the turkey BLT for $9.99 on seed bread. It came out thick, crunchy, and hearty -- exactly what I was hoping for. You can get it toasted or not, and it was loaded with all the veggies, including pickles. The several pieces of bacon were cooked perfectly! Every bite was fresh and satisfying. This spot seems super popular with the teen kids from Kentwood High School right across the street, which makes total sense -- it's a convenient and tasty option. Whether you're looking for a quick fresh breakfast or lunch, Foss Grocery and Deli delivers. Next time I'm definitely trying their pizza. Highly recommend this local gem!

The Spanakopita I ordered was weird, it is not traditional Greek Spanakopita. It had some red spice it which really killed what a traditional spanakopita is all about. 3. Really threw me off, not what I was expecting from a gyro spot.

Being plant-based, I found several great options- hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, a hearty lentil soup on the menu. When we arrived, we realized this is more a fast casual style dining place rather than a sit-down restaurant. We walked to the back and placed our order with a kind young woman. She helped me navigate the menu as I asked what good plant-based options were available. I ended up ordering a hearty lentil rice soup (vegan), and zippy tabbouleh salad (vegan). SO GOOD! My husband ordered a falafel plate and enjoyed his meal. It's good to know Kent has some awesome healthy, delicious dishes I can enjoy! I look forward to my next visit.

I'm a newbie to Mediterranean food and these guys never make me feel bad over stumbling over words/pronunciation. Plus, they have great recommendations. Finally, people actually eat inside! Ever since Covid I've found it depressing to walk in to a beautiful restaurant, only to find the only folks inside are door dashers. I was always thought all mediterranean restaurants are the same, but this one is a little different for me. Everything has yogurt in it and I'm not too crazy about sour yogurt. The restaurant is in a little shopping center, there are actually quite a few places to park. The restaurant is very nice, clean and airy. It's a self order, and they bring the food to your table. The prices are around $20 a dish. My sister ordered all the dishes, pizza, chicken, wontons, they all looked delicious but the tastes are so different for me. The wontons are not as tasty as Chinese wontons and they're not soft. The chicken is tasty but not very flavorful. The yogurt is very sour and rich. I had some slices of pizza, but nothing to rave about. Anyhow, at least I know what Turkish food is like. This one is supposed to be the best one in Tacoma and my sister family love it. Like they say, it's not my cup of tea.
