The website was easy to maneuver to pick all your favorite toppings( grilled onions!! Yummm!) and ordering was clear and fast. We got there and called the phone number for curbside pickup and a masked, polite young man brought the bag of delicious food to our car! We got home and enjoyed an easy Sunday dinner!! Usually we get more expensive burgers- but are completely satisfied with our food from 5 guys- also they have No Bun, and Lettuce Wrapped as choices- for everyone who doesn't want a bun!!! Thanks 5 guys for making our quarantine more fun!!

Service up front was solid, but the food did not deliver for me. The restaurant is located just off UVA grounds. Plenty of parking maybe should have been a clue. Overall the dining room was clean, but our table had some debris on top and floor. I ordered the wing platter with sides of baked beans and macaroni and cheese. My daughter the pulled pork sandwich with macaroni and cheese. My wife the turkey and shared sides. No one cared for the macaroni as it was flavorless. The wings were good, but small for the price. They say it's a half pound. The baked beans were tasty. My wife liked her turkey, I'm not inclined to recommend or try again. It also burned me that they have a tipping option and do not deliver the food to the table.

The sandwich was pretty tasty and most importantly, the turkey wasn't dry! The slices were pretty thick (almost 1/2" thick). I would have preferred slightly thinner and just more pieces, but good flavor. The combination of the turkey with white sauce, slaw, and pickles made for a tasty bite. The sides were a mixed bag. Pretty good overall, but I could have taken 25% of the salt on the greens and added it to the casserole! The casserole may have had enough salt, but with the greens so salty, the squash seemed slightly under seasoned. I usually don't comment on bathrooms, but the hand dryer being located directly above the toilet was pretty gross. No paper towels either. I used my shirt to turn the knob with wet hands and grab a paper towel from one of the tables. Again, staff was great. The food was pretty good, but I'm not a fan of the bathrooms!

With years passing and spying a shiny new 'jangles right near our hotel in Staunton, VA, I caught the urge to try it again and see if anything had changed about their golden chicken and biscuits? The short answer is, no. It is still crispy skinned and meaty, with whatever the ingredient that makes it so compelling. Along with the buttered biscuit, cool coleslaw and dirty rice, it is remains a valued and delicious alternative to fast food fare. Even my lovely traveling companion, a first time indulger, found the feast in our room worthy of praise, and she's a tough nut to crack with untested cuisine. We've been loving our days in western Virginia, but it might just be Bojangles that seals the deal and finds us back in this neck of the Blue Ridge woods sooner than later. Just wish they had designed the drive through and entrance to the shop with more concern for safety.
