Getting in to this Wendy's was tricky. Roads are weird. The cashier was nice. I got a Apple Pecan Salad. It was very good and it was stuffed in the container. The store could use some cleaning but other than that it was just okay. I can see it doesn't have the best reviews so management should step up their game. Visiting from NC. June 2026 read more

We have been to this location numerous times. Unfortunately, the place has been highly consistent as disorganized disinterested, disengaged, slow and inaccurate. Most recently arriving during the middle of lunch time to find the doors closed but workers standing around inside. Arriving to the drive through line, three different people came and went from the intercom, each taking part of the order and then ghosting until the next person resumed. Zero feedback, zero pleasantries, zero accountability. There is also clearly a revolving door of folks from across the street who come in, fill their cups of soda and walk back out. Multiple times now have also watched, what appears to be, homeless individuals come in to use, at length, the bathroom. Bathrooms should be for patrons. I am not sure why we have normalized not having ketchup readily available in a dining room of fast food. But on every count the ketchup pumps are empty and you have to wait and get the attention of someone hiding behind the scenes to provide a few sparingly amounts of mini packets. Always a bother. This location could greatly benefit from corporate intervention, new management, and fresh staff. read more

Ordered the meal that comes with a 4 piece nugget... then i ordered an extra 4 piece... and they forgot ALL OF THE NUGGETS. When i asked for the 8 nuggets i paid for and was missing they gave me a 6 piece. And forgot my sauce. Terrible effort. Would highly recommend never going to this wendys nothj g hut bad things come from here read more

Wendy's - I was wrongfully charged for my food. Do not recommend. - Burgers Near Me - Charlottesville, Virginia

No napkins, no ketchup for the fries, and yall failed to add mustard. Epic failure. Restrooms are sketchy too. My last Wendy's visit in Virginia. God I miss Whataburger!!!! read more

This Wendy's is bustling - the inside was dead with about 3 people waiting in line when I ran in to go to the bathroom. My husband was going through the drive-through which took forever to get a single frosty bc there were about 6 cars in front of us. The lady working the drive-through window was super unfriendly and our frosty looked like it had been made when we ordered it and sat for 10 minutes while the other cars were helped first before we got to the window. It was halfway melted... wtf. Not friendly, melted frosty, long line. Not super easy to get in and out of from the street either so probably would avoid this next time. read more

Middle of a Saturday, location was out of BBQ and honey mustard sauce.I had to repeat my order twice. Potato appeared that it had been sitting in a warmer a long time. Their staff leaves much to desire read more

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and received one without tomato, mayo, and barley any lettuce. When I went to request mayo they said "we don't have any". I was also missing honey mustard and they responded "we don't have that". I was surprised because when I originally ordered I asked for honey mustard and they said "okay". I feel like it would have been a better experience if the employee taking my order had just been honest about what they did and did not have. Honestly, sometimes all I have to look forward to is a good meal. All I wanted was a nice spicy chicken sandwich. I don't ask for much. I don't cause scenes in restaurants and I don't treat employees with disrespect. I would have been understanding if those things were not available. Pretty bummed about my meal . Please next time just inform the customer so they can make a choice they are comfortable with. read more

Wendy's - Spicy chicken sandwich without tomatoes or mayo, hardly any lettuce. - Burgers Near Me - Charlottesville, Virginia

I can't speak for how this store was running the past but I went today to get a spicy chicken sandwich and it was amazing. the spicy chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had at a Wendy's. read more

INCREDIBLY slow staff! Staff are guaranteed to forget to at least one item of your order when bagging. Visited them twice in one week and had both orders botched. I will NEVER go to this place again. Don't go unless you have 20 minutes to spare waiting in line and don't care about your order accuracy. read more

This will be a pretty simple review. The staff was courteous, got our order correct and everything was hot and exceeded our expectations. Exterior and interior of building could use some upgrading but I would revisit this location again mainly because of the staff. read more

Wendy's - the menus of a fast food restaurant - Burgers Near Me - Charlottesville, Virginia

This location is one of the better Wendy's to go to, don't go to the other one on Pantops. This one actually cares about their customers, they keep the kitchen clean and everything else they actually follow food safety protocols. It's a really nice location too compared to the nightmare one on Pantops and if you're into horror movies well let me tell you it would be the equivalent of a slasher film on your stomach if you ate at the Pantops location I saw this from experience. Fast food is bad for you anyways but definitely don't go to one where they don't follow food safety protocols which are common sense to be honest I was trained in food safety so I know what you should and shouldn't do and trust me you shouldn't do a lot of things that the workers at Pantops do read more

Patience! You're gonna need a whole lot of patience if you come here. Drive through takes at least 10 minutes every time I go (no, seriously), but the crispy chicken sandwiches are bussing. Serve is hit-or-miss, but lately, waiting to order feels like an eternity. Just for a chicken sandwich?? Damn! Do me a favor and order their crispy chicken sandwiches (add tomato) and tell me that isn't delicious. You can get two crispy chickens with tomato for $3. I'm a sucker for some chili but know that it comes out piping hot every time. I usually put some ice in it. Don't let the long line fool you, this is Wendys! read more

GHOSTED at the order screen for fifteen minutes after we ordered. We rolled up to the window and sat there and they ignored us. The woman taking orders left after taking our order and fully drove away with multiple cars in line. Horrible service. read more

Maybe they were training folks but it was more than clear by the stack of receipts and the shouts to customers that they were completely lost in the lunch rush today. I did wait ten minutes but I bailed and five construction workers who were behind me left as well. McDonald's is right next door, an easy walk. Where's the beef? read more

I'm very impressed with the improvement of service at this Wendy's. There used to be a long wait despite the fact they had plenty of staff behind the counter. The food is hot and fresh. I appreciate the assistant manager at this location particularly. She is kind, courteous and gets your order out STAT! I'll be visiting this Wendy's often now! read more

I LOVE Wendy's. I love this Wendy's. Love the new look... but if you see a long line, I'd suggest driving on... they aren't ready to deal much with a rush. District/owner-level training could certainly improve. But when they aren't busy, you will get exactly what you want :) read more

Went for lunch on Friday during Lent to have a fish sandwich only to discover that Wendy's doesn't serve fish sandwiches.

I'm still waiting for my food - a total of 25 minutes from when I pulled in the drive through till now. It's supposed to be fast food not ridiculously slow food. They've asked me to pull aside bc one item isn't ready which means everything else is going to be cold. Just got the food and they forgot my dipping sauce and my fries are cold. Major disappointment read more

It is a good thing we were charging nearby and weren't in a hurry. Placed a simple order for two people and it took twice as long to get it than to actually eat it. And, of course, both burgers had to be sent back for correct condiments only to get it wrong again...but not willing to wait even longer. No one there had a fire in their belly. Very disappointing. read more

This is the worst Wendy's. I ordered tenders and it came not cooked problem . When I asked a refund, the manager was very rude to me and told me I had eaten some of it already. I guess the manager does not know that food needs to be cooked. I am worried about my health after eating the uncooked food. She then rudely asked me to leave to the restaurant. I am quite disappointed and will not be visiting this Wendy's again. I should have seen the writing on the wall with the poor Yelp review rating read more

Drive thew girl knows her job well her name is Courtney was working very lunchtime.....good job

Literaly the nicest people on the planet and the best wendys in town. Food was great.

Great service, very nice staff. The guarantee of fresh fries is true here. Always piping hot fries. They get the orders correct. They allow me to order burger patties only, my son is allergic to everything else...so burger patties and hot fries for him! The drive-thru wait time has been speedy. I hope they keep up the great service!! read more

If you're looking for fast food with very slow service, and terrible french fries, you've found your place. No seriously, how does anyone mess up french fries? Oh, and it doesn't matter whether you go drive thru or go inside. It's all the same. S-L-O-W. I've been to this place maybe three times in a lifetime. It hasn't changed. Don't waste your life waiting. read more

This is the worst Wendy's ever, and I recommend that you go to the one on Pantops. A while back I ordered a Caesar salad once and they gave me a pecan salad. I'm allergic to pecans and I'm glad I checked my bag. My husband keeps insisting on going here. Today I had to yell at the drive thru box because the guy keeps saying they can't hear me. My throat hurts after repeating my order five times. I just saw two cars u turn around through the drive thru because their orders were wrong. If you get your order, check your bags before you drive off. Next time, I'll pretend this place does not exist and go to McDonald's if I need something late night. GET IT TOGETHER WENDY'S. read more

This Wendy's is the worst. My friends and I ordered 4 chicken sandwiches and 2 of them were raw. Absolutely disgusting.

I love Wendy's, but this is probably the worst I've ever been too. I've gone twice for a single meal and, I kid you not, it took 25 minutes both times. One car in the drive through and no line inside. I will say this though, the good thing about this Wendy's is that there's a McDonald's right next door. read more

We were the only people in line and had to wait for our food for at least 15 minutes. It seemed as if the employees were just talking about nothing important when they should have been making our food. read more

Holy Moly, over fifteen minute wait to get a pre-made salad. Seemed like one guy "Paul" was having to do everyone's job. Give that guy a raise but the rest of the crew literally didn't do a thing. Everyone was friendly though. That counts for something. read more

This is the worst Wendy's in Charlottesville. Their staff is extremely unprofessional and known to make a lot of mistakes on orders. I ordered a Baconator Combo and received Baconator fries along with another order of large fries...Really?! read more

This is the fastest drive-thru I have ever visited. I go there twice a week. Even at lunch rush, I order at the little window, and by the time I pull up to the window the car just in front of me has already gotten their food and driven off. The people are pleasant. I think in 100+ visits they've messed up my order maybe once . There's a homeless shelter across the street so you may see some interesting characters inside. There's only one register so that does get quite crowded at lunch time and there's a wait. So sometimes I just hit the super-fast drive-thru, park, and walk in and eat. They have drive-thru down to a science. The one up 29 is terribly slow by comparison. The Pantops one is so-so. If you want a fast, tasty meal in town, it's probably faster to go out of your way to this Wendy's than either of the other two. read more
