We were unfortunately disappointed with the pizza we ordered from Dino's. We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza with pineapple and onions plus the white pizza with pesto and prosciutto. The amount of onions on the first pizza was definitely overkill and it would have been nice if they were cooked in anyway vs being raw. The pesto pizza was good but very salty. Maybe it was just an off night since there are so many good reviews for this stand.

A neat food court concept with a variety of options ranging from salads, pizza, ice cream, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They also have a bar! The parking lot has 1 hour free parking but then you have to pay utilizing the ParkMobile app. I ended up paying 2.75 for an additional 30 minutes. The ambience and the concept were neat. I feel like more seating, trash cans, and a place to put trays when done would be good additions. Maybe a place to get water that's more accessible than the water fountains tucked away near the bathrooms. I ended up going to Chimm Street and got the chicken basil entree for 11.50. It has a bit of a kick which I appreciated. I wasn't able to finish it and the portion size was alright. I don't think I'd order it again though. Am looking to trying the different menu items and vendors!

My husband and I had our first visit to the Diary Market yesterday and it did not disappoint. The building is beautiful and spacious. There is a vast selection of different genres of restaurants and 2 retailers. I would like to see more retailers in this great spot. My husband got a Ramen Bowl from Mashu Festival and I got my dish from Maizal with a yummy Horchata!!!! The service was excellent.

This is a food court with a ton of culinary options. I saw Italian, ice cream, a bar, asian, Mexican, hamburgers and pretty much anything else that you can think of. Very clean place. They have some seats but more would serve the place well. We enjoyed our ramen a lot!

Plentyyy of cuisine options! Large space with indoor and outdoor seating and great vendor. Lots of veggie options between all the vendors! We tried veggie pizza from the pizza place and a spicy veggie burger from the vegan burger place. Pizza was just fine, nothing amazing but the burger was delicious! Very satisfying for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Absolutely recommend Dairy Market especially for big groups with different preferences and restrictions.

Lots of high quality food choices, and a couple bars. Plenty of seating. Typical food court, you order & pay at the counter & take your food to a table. I saw families with kids there. And they are open until 9-10 ish so great for dinner.

Dairy Market is finally open and I'm sad that it's during the pandemic, but can't wait for all the shops that we're planning to come in to take hold. But the shops here currently are still worthwhile to come and check out. The pandemic has hit all of us hard but especially the restaurant business. We must do our best to continue to support the businesses that are putting their health and money on the line to bring all of us some joy sign their delicious offerings. So I want to say thank you if you are being safe and supporting the businesses. I had the amazing raspberry cone at moo through as well as the most delicious soul food at Angelic's kitchen. I know she took a big chance to start a brick and mortar... but I'm so glad she did. If you're looking for some amazing fried chicken, fried fish and shrimp... it's a must eat! There is a large bar area where people are socializing over drinks. I would definitely wear a mask and keep it on... seemed a bit busy.

First of all, where was this during my undergrad?!? It's so crazy to see how much has changed since I graduated. We stopped by here for a dinner reservation at South and Central for my brother's graduation. Loved the vibe of this food hall which featured a mix of fast-casual and sit down dining. My personal favorites are Starr Hill Brewery and South and Central. I love that there are so many cuisines to choose from as well as multiple options for drinking! Hard to try everything in one visit. I'll definitely have to pay another visit whenever I'm back in cville.

My Wahoo daughter brought me here during Family Weekend, and now I totally get why this place is a UVA favorite. The building itself is part of a beautifully restored historic industrial complex off Preston Avenue. It's an adaptive-reuse space (formerly part of the old Coca-Cola bottling works), and the design keeps that industrial character alive: tall ceilings, exposed materials, and a layout that feels open, social, and easygoing. The outdoor area is especially smartly done. They've got roll-down fabric walls and overhead heat lamps that keep the patio comfortable even when the temperature dips. It's basically an all-weather beer-garden vibe, and it works. Here's how our meal went down: * Shared starter: the Jumbo Bavarian Pretzel. Warm, soft, perfectly salted, and killer with both the mustard and the cheese sauce. * My entrée: the Local Steak Salad -- gorgeous presentation, tender grass-fed beef, and those pickled turnips, radish slices, and greens in herb buttermilk dressing absolutely tied it together. * My daughter's entrée: Bratwurst, which disappeared quickly, so that tells you what you need to know. Service setup is counter-service for food with table drop-off, and drinks are ordered directly at the bar. It's efficient, friendly, and gives the whole place an easygoing "European beer hall meets Charlottesville neighborhood spot" feel. Kardinal Hall is one of those places where good food, good architecture, and good energy all line up. If you're in town -- especially visiting UVA -- this is a must-stop.

Location is another huge plus--right near UVA and central to everything you'd want while visiting Charlottesville. Without hesitation, this is the best place to stay in Charlottesville. I had hoped that it would offer a high class experience, but it was just okay. The room had some minor aesthetic touches, but in substance was pretty standard. The entrance to the hotel felt a bit cramped, and the building seemed centered around the restaurant that didn't have much for me. The sheets caused some skin irritation, and I wish all hotels used the most hypoallergenic detergent available. From a service perspective, it was quite good. I was offered an early checkin and also took a late checkout, so I got a ton of time with the room. They also stored my luggage, including various baked goods, after I was done. So I got a lot of value out of the room. The question to me was how this hotel would compare to the others that are in downtown Charlottesville; would the experience be worth a bit more than the more standard Marriotts or various others. I was not convinced that it would be worth spending the extra money on.

Squeaky clean hardwood floors all over. Tasteful old furniture. Every staff member I spoke to was polite, courteous, and happy to help. The self serve stations for hot coffee, tea, and cold water was a convenient resource outside of the door. This inn appears to be made of several former homes that were turned into a campus of buildings making the Oakhurst Inn. It's not a single building. The small lawn in the center of the complex has benches, hammock, and a fireplace that seems welcoming and nice, but I wasn't aware of them until I left. There were a few problems during my stay. The inn requires guests to use valet parking which is $40 per night, not disclosed before my stay, and often required a long wait for the valet to return. This makes it hard to retrieve anything you need from your car. The front desk staff are often missing from the front desk - I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come back and check me in on arrival. Likewise, the bartender is often away from station and you might wait 10 or 30 minutes for the bartender to return. There is no mini fridge or microwave in the hotel rooms. The pool area was extremely dark at night, making it tricky or dangerous to navigate. The pool water was lukewarm, not warm at all. The sauna was out of order and the doorway was small and obscured by chairs. Not accessible and difficult to find. This inn has no gym. The lobby is very small and has no seating for guests or places to hang their luggage, although the nearby lounge has a few leather couches and a fireplace that doesn't appear to be working. Not the most welcoming or convenient. Overall I don't think it's worth the hefty price tag and would stay elsewhere when I return to Charlottesville.

We learned that this location has more service than the one we're familiar with. They'll fill your water for you vs self service. There are two floors to work on and a rooftop. We chose to work in the kitchen space on the second floor. The design and decor here is gorgeous. I found myself wishing I could take some of the artwork home. Just like our Common House back in Richmond, they offer member events. They sounded so fun I considered driving back to Cville just to experience them. While we were there, we ordered some food. The food we got was beyond delicious. I'd argue even better than the RVA food. The menus vary based on location. I got a delicious miso salmon bowl. My body was craving something like it and I was thrilled when I found out how delicious it tasted. My boyfriend got a grilled cheese and loved each bite. When you're a member you usually get a $25 credit for your birthday (which we used towards lunch), however this location went above and beyond and brought Richard a complimentary chocolate cheesecake without blinking twice. However, this past year things really started going downhill. There has been a huge staff turnover, including several staff members who were really the life and soul of the place. Common House has not been able to keep a chef for more than a few months, which has lead to a lot of hit or miss dining experiences. The free coffee, which was a big perk during coworking days, is no more. There have also been several private events that caused full house closures to members. The final nail in the coffin for me was having my membership fee raised not once but twice over the course of a year. The first time ($25 increase) I was given ample notice. The second I was given no notice and just saw an additional $35 on my credit card. When I inquired about why my monthly membership fee had been increased I was given no response. With this, I decided my time at Common House has run its course and canceled my membership. This has seemed like the perfect "third space" for remote young professionals like myself, but it seems that in the last few months several others have had the same thoughts I had and decided to leave. It will always be a cool space, but the current management leaves a lot to be desired.
