BurgerFi is a really nice burger joint that is in 5th Street shopping market. They have hot dogs, onion rings, fries, and waygu burgers. They are a little pricey for a burger place but a great place for a quick bite. The service was very friendly and quick. The atmosphere is casual. read more

Can't imagine this place will last long No person is available to take your order. You can only order using a big tablet. It gets better. They want you to give a tip even though no person waits on you. You are forced to use credit card , they don't take cash and THEN they charge you extra to use your credit card. $11.99 for CEO burger . A $12 burger must either be big so I am not hungry after eating it or taste really good. This burger was none of these. Kids burger came with HUGE fries but they were cooked for way to long. I've typed all of this on my phone while waiting for our ice cream. There is no other customers in the restaurant We left hungry after spending over $30 Just been waiting informed it will be a long time before they can make a shake and ice cream Beware. I had driven past this place a few times not realizing it was under construction. I stopped in the second day they were open (Sept 29, 2021). Staff was friendly and upbeat, hard for this old gal to read the menu or understand burger size but guy at the register directed me to the Junior burger and asked if I'd like to try their special sauce. Glad I said yes! The burgers were good- best in Cville so far and Ive tried them all, even the pricy snotty overpriced burger place on the downtown mall. The fries are OMG awesome. Soda is $2.97, so a bit pricey there but overall the prices are in keeping with the area and you get a ton of mouth watering fries! Happy with the prices. Bread was fresh and tasty, branded with their name. I'm disabled and was pleased to see a very handicap accessible entrance and bathroom. plenty of grab bars but the soap dispenser is not easily accessible to anyone in a wheelchair but sink and toilet are. Bathroom was clean and large, unisex family setup with a diaper changing station. Again, the hook for hanging your coat or bag is high for average wheelchair user but those are the only negatives in an otherwise fantastic addition to CVille's restaurant family. Light, airy, lots of glass and sturdy chairs, aluminum trays for dine-in. Presentation of food is nice and the staff, especially the older guys, were so friendly. Part of that is it's new, but still, I really enjoyed it. The AC was cranked up and it was very chilly and music a little loud if you want to talk but that's subjective. Outside dining area looks good and parking is not a problem. Good area of town, lots of shopping in same center, plus a Krispy Kreme doughnuts, Planet Fitness gym, Wegmans grocery, Dicks sporting Goods, Panera Bread and several bars etc in center ad well. Didn't feel like eating in on a cold evening and rolled up on BurgerFi. Even though they were short staffed they were still making delicious burgers. The burger was fresh and when your lettuce isn't wilting you know it's a good burger. Unfortunately they were out of onion rings so I forced myself to have the Parmesan fries. My first experience here. I was intrigued initially. The place popped with images of their food offerings. Sadly if flopped for me on flavor execution. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger on a lettuce wrap. I am happy to see that's an option for every sandwich. The patties were good, but nothing special for me. I have had better and for what I got, the prices are ridiculous. It's also a la carte for sides and drinks. The onion rings were the best part and they were huge. They have two Coke machines with dozens of offerings. Their food runners are polite and attentive. A few cons: They only gave me and a coworker one tray for both our meals. So we basically had to use the table as our eating surface. I know I could have asked for another, but I didn't feel like it. The condiments (Ketchup, mustered, Mayo) are all Heinz from pump stations near the drink machines. The mustard had a weird consistency...like it was cut with water. Didn't use it, but i did tell someone there. I'll probably give them another chance down the road. read more

Typically you can find me raving about BurgerFi's delicious burgers, but the Charlottesville location left me extremely unsatisfied. I placed a take out order and confirmed that my burgers included the proper toppings. However, when I received the order, not only was my burger completely bare without toppings, they added an extra patty (when I explicitly said single patty). The milkshake was supposed to be chocolate but the chocolate syrup was barely mixed into the vanilla ice cream. Overall, I was disappointed in my order because it is a more expensive burger joint. Be warned that the Charlottesville location is disorganized and most likely will get your order wrong. read more

This place is within 5th Street Station and has outdoor and indoor seating. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. My two friends and I ordered burgers, fries, chicken tenders and onion rings. They greeted us right away but explained they were short staffed (this was 11:15a mind you and they just opened) and it might be awhile. We waited a bit and then they took our order. Easy process and our food came out fairly quickly. My burger was amazing! So juicy, bacon crispy and you have your choice of cheese. My friends loved theirs too and they even have an ordering app that gives you points for future deals. I'll be back! read more

Great burger, bad fries. Got a classic cheeseburger and really enjoyed the flavor. Bun was perfect. Good amount of toppings. Fries, though, were soggy. Took a few bites and had to toss them. They do not travel well, and based on what they looked and tasted like, I'm guessing they aren't crisp if you dine in either. Maybe it was a one-off. I was able to attend the grand reopening this past Saturday and enjoy some complimentary cheeseburgers at the event. The space is nice with a large patio outside allowing plenty of room for our kids to run around while we enjoyed our food in peace. There were definitely some hiccups with the register but Neil and Rita were both wonderfully patient and cheerful! The fries were fresh, the onion rings huge and tasty, and the chicken tenders super crispy. The soft serve/concretes were a sweet way to end the meal. The chef came out at one point to chat with us and gave our kids some fist bumps. Food was satisfying, space was clean, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. We'll be back! read more

Good, but nothing spectacular. Burgers were solid, yet not anything I'd go out of my way for. The same was true with the onion rings and fries. Skip the ranch sauces....completely ordinary and not necessary. I will try a red velvet concrete sometime, however, as a friend's chocolate shake was delicious. First time checking out this place 7/2023 and I doubt I'll be going back. I got the special which was buy a drink and get a burger for $3. I got the bacon cheese burger. The burger wasn't freshly cooked and it was tasteless and dry af. The bacon was overcooked and burned. The bun was stale. I'm so glad I didn't pay full price for the burger. This was our first time eating at this establishment. It was far from a passable experience. Our first initial impression of the inside was that it looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. The floor was nasty. The tables had leftover crumbs on them. It looked like someone hadn't taken the used trays on top of the trash can back in awhile. Plus there wasn't hardly anyone in there. Three to four people at the most, and they had already been served their food and was on there way out. I felt like someone could've been out there tidying up a bit, but oh well. The employees seemed friendly, but there wasn't anyone at the counter initially to take our order. After my wife and I were done placing our order the person working the register was ready to tell us "sorry we can't take cash" but another employee yelled from the back "yes you can. The drawer was just refilled." So that had me shaking my head a bit. So this place also uses one of those Coke-a-Cola touch screen drink machines. Well when we went to go fill our drinks the machine only had a few drinks in there. I'd say about 95% of the drinks were unavailable. Also whoever set it up had something wrong. I had to get a Hi-C drink because of the limited options. As soon as I pressed for it to fill up nothing but carbonated water came out and the orange flavoring exploded down causing a mess. My wife was beside me trying to get ketchup out of the dispenser, which was empty. So we had to ask the person for some ketchup, but all they could only give us was packets. When we finally got our food it was ok. That's putting it nicely. It wasn't anything like advertised. Very thin patties, and the cheese on my wife's burger was barely melted down. I think the only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because out of all of the scattered mess they actually got our order right. Also one of the people in the back did save us some money by recommending my wife and I just get one regular fry and splitting it. As my wife and I were leaving that same employee was clocking out for the day, but they decided to get a drink first and had to yell back at the other employees that they needed come out there and fill the drink machine and ketchup back up. So thank you to that employee. Overall, we paid $38 for a very unsatisfactory experience. I think I've had better experiences at a McDonald's. We could've just caught it on a bad time, but that'll be our only time there. I would not recommend this place. Unless filthy places and mediocre food is your thing. read more

Try getting a refund that has a corporate policy of no refunds. Burgerfi actually tried to force me to take a gift card as a refund after they messed up my order, they said it's corporate policy! I stuck to my guns because that's corporate theft, got my refund after threatening them with calling the law. read more

Had previously visited a BurgerFi in Florida and had a great experience. Stopped by the C'ville (5th Street Location) tonight and was totally disappointed. With the exception of the fries, the meal was horrible. Our burgers were not cooked, had an off-taste, and were thrown out after taken only a few bites. They literally looked like microwaved "meat". Additionally, the tables/seats were not clean. I would not return to this location. Riverside Lunch or Riverside North, Jack Brown's, Tip Top, or even Five Guys are MUCH better burger options. read more

I give this place a 1 because it will not allow me to give any thing lower. We went there last night 5/6/2023. When we walked in there was a guy outside on the phone talking out loud about his personal life. After we got in the restaurant and looked around it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for some time. We should have left when we seen the guy behind the counter that like a homeless man that hadn't bathed in weeks. So anyway we decided to stay. It took us a while to order because we had us use the biggest tablet we had ever seen. And didn't have a clue what to order. Being it was our first time there. When we got to the place on the tablet to pay they insisted on leaving a tip. I tried 2 times to not leave one and it would not let me pay unless I did. When we got our food it wasn't hot as they advertised. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it had bacon bits instead of strips. Possibly the worst burger I have ever had. And it only cost me $91.00 for 4 adults and 2 children (4&2) to eat there . They close at 9 when every place else around them stayed open later. The guy was locking up the door right at 9 and looking at us like are y'all leaving soon. By the way the guy outside on the phone that was being all loud was also the manger of this joint. Non professional at its finest. We left and went next door for ice cream. When we were leaving Cold Stone I looked in the windows because it was closed. Nothing had been done as far as cleaning in the dining room area at all. It was dirty when we first went in. But we just figured it had busy.
