I ordered egg white on my bacon egg and cheese muffin and got this. I understand it's busy during breakfast hour. But it doesn't hurt to double check and make sure the sandwich is made correctly. Not worth the extra .90 cents or sandwich.

First timer for Chick-fi-A fried chicken sandwich. Maybe having it in Bend, Oregon was a big trek but it beat long lines and we got a nice outside table on a nice sunny day. Ordered: * Spicy chicken sandwich - good seasoning, spicy. I added hot sauce * Waffle fries * Mac n' cheese * Kale Crunch salad * Dipping sauces, tried original, garden herb (like a Ranch), honey mustard. There more to try on a later visit. * Drinks: watermelon mint ice tea (seasonal), lemonade ( good) Quick in and out fast service. Service people are nice and helpful with the menu choices. Decor was warm, light and bright. Plenty of seating inside and out. Appreciated the little booths. But nice to have seating outside on a nice warm, sunny day. The spicy chicken sandwich was good with pickles, original sauce, seasonings used to fry the chicken was well balanced. And there was spice but when I added the hot sauce it definitely ascended another level. The mac n' cheese was hot and cheesy. Great accompaniment. Kale crunch salad had a packet of roasted almond pieces to top it off with. The lightly dressed salad reminded me what you'd put in coleslaw. I liked it! Looking forward to the waffle fries but this was the only disappointment. It was not crispy but more soggy like it's been sitting there awhile. Maybe we got a bad batch. We'll see next time. But not if there's a looooonnng line.

    My sad lil strip.

Great sandwich. Even though the drive thru was log, it went pretty fast. Nice people too.

With only one car ahead of us and only ordering fries, we waited 10 minutes and then the fries were soggy, too salty, and lukewarm at best.

Not a big fan. Why is everyone is so obsessed? It's descent, but nothing special. I do like their shakes, but I don't ever crave their food

    Ask the Community - Chick-fil-A

Happy to find a Chick-fil-A in Bend as we miss ours back home. Question regards their busy hours during the day as concerned with long lines and traffic on 97. Recommended hours for dinner drive thru orders with minimal lines?

I don't really do drive thru because the lines are always long. I find ordering from the app for restaurant pickup the most convenient and fastest way to go. Suggest you give it a try.

Do they have a play structure like they do in California for the kids?

They sure do and it's inside which is nice for those cold Bend days

It's a walk in sit down spot - you place your order at the counter and they give you a number - decent size for busy food times - so usually plenty of seating. Over the phone ordering was a snap and the dude was super polite and helpful - not rushed. My wife got the traditional breakfast - she loved the local links and flaky biscuit - I think it was peach marmalade - not sure, but it was LEGIT. I got the pozole roja (I think that's the menu name) and - yo, it was the best pozole I've had. The ingredients were plenty, the chicken was tender and flavorful, they put the radishes, cilantro and cabbage on the side for you to add so it's not soggy. Sourdough was so good to dip - mouth is watering writing this. Service th morning we were headed out at 7amish was great also - wife got coffee cake (warmed in their brick oven) and I got two citrus muffins and a sourdough cinnamon roll for later - all were scrumptious and delightful. I would got a half dozen muffins if I knew they were that good before. People were kind and the service is quick. We ate there these two time on $52 dollars - both to-go orders. We will absolutely be back - every time we are near bend, I'll be stopping for pozole for sure! Well done, Jacksons Corner, well done!

Between the exceptionally good food at Hook and Plow, a most pleasant hotel experience, and a memorable trip to the High Desert Museum; our trip to Bend turned out to be a pleasure instead of the miserableness I expected. We had the Steak Tartare, the Chef's Board, the Blackend Crabcake, the Pear and Burrata Salad, and the Bone-in Pork Chop. We each got the cheesecake for desert and split the other dishes. This was more than enough for the three of us and we left full, happy, and with three large to-go boxes. The flavors of the various dishes were amazing. While all the dishes were vvery good, the standouts to me were the steak Tartare, the Pear and Burrata Salad, and the Cheesecake.

We were greeted by the host and seated quickly. We started our meal with a delicious non-alcoholic drink and the Chef's Board: a charcuterie with an assortment of cured meats, rustic bread, and various spreads. That came out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, our main courses came out much, much later and lukewarm. Luckily, the food was good enough that it made up for the temperature. I had the NY strip steak. The steak and the Boursin mashed potatoes alone were very good. The pickled onions and chimichurri complemented the meat very well. The meal was supposed to include brussel sprouts but came with a grilled broccoli cauliflower assortment instead. My wife had the Scallop Risotto which was also a great recommendation from the server. In reality, The Hook & Plow deserved 3 1/2 stars but that's not an option on Yelp. It may have been an off night for the staff, so I will give them the benefit of doubt. We would be open to trying it again sometime in the future.
