Very disappointed!!! The drive thru gets a big priority and customers that go inside are almost entirely ignored! Staff running all around but no one to help walk up customers. Came to the drive through, they said at 8:30pm, when they close at 10pm, they only had orange, white rice, chow mein, and fried rice and weren't allowed to cook anything else. I don't understand all the negative comments about this location. I'm in Bend at least twice a year and never had a bad experience here at this Panda. I've been there twice this week and the portions were huge and freshly made. I got Chow Mein (to those who complain about the veggies compared to noodles ratio, it's not spaghetti folks), Orange Chicken, and Teriyaki Chicken. For less than $12 for the bigger plate order, you really can't go wrong. All the employees are great AND did offer sauces! I also walked on inside to order this trip but I do remember last visit the inside dining room was closed. I have been a loyal Panda Express patron for the past 15 years and have visited these restaurants in four western states. I found their food to be good and the prices were fair! Then I moved to Redmond Oregon and found that there was a Panda Express here. I have lived here approximately three months, and have ordered from Panda Express probably seven or eight times. In the beginning, the food was what I expected, but my last three orders have been extremely disappointing. My last order of today, I noticed that the chicken was way overcooked and almost burned I never got the things that I had ordered with this meal, such as utensils, napkins, sweet-and-sour sauce, and teriyaki sauce. I called Panda Express and they said that they were having trouble with one of their computers and that is why my mail was so dysfunctional. I wanted them to do something to help, but they would not! I tried to eat the burned chicken, but I had to throw most of my meal tonight away. This meal was so bad that I don't think I'll be contacting Panda Express again. read more

Poor on almost every front other than customer service. They are constantly out of everything and often forget sauces and side entrees. Tables are often left dirty and I'm left to wipe them down myself. Seems like every time I go, they give me less and less food for what I pay. Every other Panda I've been to gives me much larger portions and the quality is far more consistent than this location. Ordered a family bundle with a large chicken teriyaki as one of the entrees. I asked for additional extra sauce on the side and instead I got a large entree of plain chicken with no sauce on it and no sauce on the side. I come up to visit my sister in bend Oregon I decided to take her out for lunch she pregnant and wanted Panda Express as i frequently going to panda did not object. The Experience started out delightful a gentleman the door open for my sister and I we get to the front counter created with Smiles by Alazae great attitude ,great customer service.thank you Alazae Followed by the manager rudely barking orders and not allowing his staff to do their job . when the line wasn't moving fast enough he would reach across crossed the fresh cooked food trying to hurry the process up neither me or my sister were NOT ready.. we were tasting samples .we then felt rushed to make a decision on our food order and quickly pay for it . As we paid for our meal we ended up paying for an extra meal because the manager was not paying attention to what his job was , he was too worried about his team (co-workers) .. when I had mentioned something instead of taking responsibility he blamed his mistake on the staff working the line. I ordered through GH a big plate with chow mein, super greens, shrimp,chili crisp shrimp, and broccoli beef. My "super greens" were all broccoli that was turning yellow. So I got a lot of broccoli. The crusty shrimp was okay though kind of soggy by the time it reached my house, fifteen minutes away. The chow mein was okay. I have an in the closet weakness for Panda, even if I have had some bad experiences at other locations. This was my first time at this one, and we were super hungry. We were on our way back home to Eugene, it was getting towards the evening when everything was closing up shop, and on a Sunday. The line was long, we knew we would have a wait, but to be honest in these times it is like that almost anywhere you go now. And like I wrote above, it was late on a Sunday. Not many options left on our way home. We were actually closer to hwy 58, but we knew their wouldn't be many food options, so we decided to take Santiam Pass home to Eugene, and check out our food options in Bend. So we landed here. They were super busy, I thought they were going to mess up on our order because there was a slight language barrier with one of the employees who had asked what we had on our ticket. It's not like it would be an easy fix with a huge line like that behind you, and you can't really go up to them. The staff was very nice, and I felt bad for them because of how backed up they were. Thankfully our order was correct, and the food was very fresh, and delicious. It was actually one of the better Panda's I had been to in a while. So that was very refreshing. I hope some people learn to get some patience during these times, and realize things have changed, and it is not easy with all of the regulations. My kiddo has taken a liking to PE's Teriyaki Chicken and I am partial to their kung pao chicken, so for the last few months, we would have a Panda Express dinner once every other week or once a week at times. I can honestly say that service has improved and food is always freshly cooked. The $20 family meal which serves 3-5 people is definitely an awesome deal. The app is very easy and convenient to use. It's my preferred method of ordering instead of waiting in line at the drive thru which could get very long at times. It's convenient and pick up is a breeze. read more

When we went to pay she took my debit card with her to the drive up and called another employee to ring us up. The manager was coordinating people but no one paid attention to the backlog of food just sitting there. People ahead of us had one entree just waiting in the other, which was full...just needed to be scooped, and there they waited too. We used Door Dash to bring us Panda Express. We spent $40 bucks plus tip. Half my food was missing, the veggies were hard, the rice tasted old and dry.. it was absolutely terrible. When handed our food, platters were placed In bag vertically causing the food to come out of the boxes and spill into the plastic bag.
