We usually have a good experience at this location but today and the last time we ate here were awful. Staff was rude and very adamant about rushing us through with nobody in line so they could sit and chit chat with each other . The lady taking our order through the drive thru today didn't listen to what we said she just talked over us and pushed us through as fast as she could. My boyfriend didn't get the food he ordered we just got double of what I ordered through the drive thru today. Super disappointed in this location! Avoid this place. I got two plates and a kids meal, when I got home - none of my orders were right. I asked for half & half friend rice & chow mein, however, I only got the chow mein but rarely noodles but tons of cabbage. I understand that when things get busy and hectic you get stressed out but that's no excuse for letting your customer service fly right out the window. I would know because I worked in fast food. I was craving orange chicken the entire day so I decided to go down there for some dinner and I wanna double orange chicken and they proceeded to tell me that it would be a 15 minute wait so I change my mind I got black pepper chicken and wanted to order a Fanta. I then get asked if I want strawberry or orange and I say I want orange and they proceed to tell me that they don't have the orange. Well if you don't have orange then don't even bother to offer it. I get up to the window to pay for my food and the guy at the window didn't even tell me my total I had to ask for it, proceeded to give me my food, then my change and said here and then slammed the window shut. I like their food, usually. You have to watch it though, went in yesterday and the wife had the chicken mushroom, and she said it tasted "old". Not sure how that can be because they go through it pretty fast, and are constantly making more. But i had the Bejing beef and it also tasted "old", kinda dried out and stale and I know they had just made it, because we had to wait for it. The worst part is though they serve this hot food in Styrofoam. Styrene which leaches out of styrofoam into food and liquids is in all of us. Even though studies as far back as the 1980's showed in tests of 1000's of people that they ALL had styrene in their fat cells, because the EPA can't find a causal effect between styrene and cancer, neurotoxicity, genetic mutations, harm to fetuses, harm to children and other ailments the US GOV still allows people to sell and use styrofoam containers for food. Of course even if they study styrene/styrofoam they do not know what effects it may have in combination with other chemicals we're exposed to everyday. It's that chemical soup we get exposed to each day that the EPA has very little data on. After yesterday's experience, we won't be going back to Panda ever again. At least this time they didn't short us at the drive-up. Previously after being shorted repeatedly at the drive-up I tried to complain to their corp HQ. Never could get anyone. Twitter went unanswered. All attempts at calling failed. Finally filled a BBB complaint after figuring out their parent company and verifying I had the right place with the BBB. They did not respond to the complaint and it's now marked "unresolved". read more

DO NOT order from here. They are always out of the the item you want. They do not make enough at night and the management is lazy and doesn't know how to run this store. Wait times are usually 25 min. EVERY SINGLE TIME is a waste of time for us delivery drivers and the customer ends up not getting their food. Horrific. Been to this location a few times and tonight will have to be the last. Yelp says they close at 10pm... the front door to the restaurant says 9:30. My husband and I walked in at 8:20 and they had all the chairs stacked on the tables, were sweeping the floors... Did not greet us or say hi. The cashier who was sweeping at the moment said nothing, set his broom aside like he was annoyed, and started to "serve" us. As we sat down at one of the booths to eat, TWO employees began vigorously mopping next to our table. In our direction, just a foot away from us. At 8:30, another customer came in and had no choice but to walk over the drenched floor. The employees, again, said nothing. just watched him walk across the restaurant to the counter. One of the employees even turned the OPEN signs off, hovering over our table from the booth behind us. I was getting so irritated by the incessant mopping and sweeping, that my husband and I decided to leave. As we were walking out, the MANAGER and two employees were just standing around and did NOT say a word to us. I took a photo of the clock in our car as we were leaving, and a photo of the restaurant an hour before close... My husband and I both understand working in a store/restaurant, and we are the LEAST picky people I know. We will eat any dish served to us in a restaurant even if the waiter got our orders completely wrong, but this... was OUTRAGEOUS. read more

The best Panda Express I've been to! The food was fresh and delicious. The steak was tender, veggies nicely al dente and my super picky son loved the walnut shrimp. The service was very quick, accurate and efficient, which is all I ever ask for. The employees did look like they were tired and harried, but that's to be expected with an assembly line of people pouring through. The restaurant was clean too. When we left an employee was already nearby to clean up our crumbs. read more

Experienced the drive-though recently. There was no one ahead of us and our orders were correct when we received them. We received our food quickly but there was only one fortune cookie was in our bag...so sad. I can't give anything more than three stars due to the quality of the food in general. I often find myself chowing down on broccoli beef and then questioning the origin of the meat...and then trying hard not to think about it. Same with the shrimp... Not sure what to think. We drove up and parked and our 8 and 9 year old grandchildren read the large banner on the front of the building describing "Wednesday family fun days. Games and prizes. 11-8pm." They were so excited. It was Wednesday just before noon. We get inside. No signs of fun. Wait a long time to be helped. Obviously short staffed. And not very happy staff. Drive thru- no waiting. They were obviously to be serves first. We finally get to the register. We ask about "family fun day". She responds, " yah, that's on Wednesdays. " I say, today's Wednesday. She says, it is? I thought it was Monday. She says, yay, I think it starts at two. No, I said, the sign says 11. Oh wow. I'll have to tell Jess to get the games out. We ate our food. My family went to Panda Express frequently in the Portland area for years. After moving to Bend a year ago, we went to this Panda Express 3 times and we don't plan on coming back. There's a mutual understanding between a customer and a food industry worker. Going 20 minutes before a place closes you might not get your top choice, but you're willing to settle. Out of Orange chicken? That's fine, I'll settle with beef and broccoli. Out of that too? Well what you do have for left overs I'm not picky. It's an unspoken, mutual understanding. Sadly, that understanding was lost tonight. Lights off, food packed up 20 minutes prior. To top it off, two of the workers ducked behind the counters as I rolled up to the window. Y'all ain't that fast I saw you ;) I understand workers these days deserve a decent livable wage, but in return doesn't the customer deserve a decent experience and be able to be served AT LEAST till actual closing time? Kind of sad I have to ask for the bare minimum here. Great thing about todays world is I have options. I could take it upon myself and get the bags of orange chicken in the frozen isle and learn to cook it myself at home.
