We had the pleasure of being served reddish/pink teriyaki chicken breast...and to our dismay, the server put it BACK in the container where all the other cooked chicken breasts were. Kind of gross..and to top it off, the server says " oh...it looks like its still raw"...back in the container it went, contaminating all the other meat. Gross. Our family loves Panda, just not this one. We live close by and we were excited to see it built but the quality quickly faded. We have been sold orange chicken without the orange sauce because they were out and they figured it wasn't important to tell us that before ordering and discovering it when we got home. We steer clear of this one now. My son left his retainer on the table one night so we called to see if they could hold it for us, which they agreed, we went back 2 days later and it had magically disappeared. We filed a loss report with the manager and never heard from them again about it. We find ourselves going to the Redmond one and receiving quality food and service every time. read more

When I go here I always get broccoli and beef and/or the grilled teriyaki chicken, that's all I'll eat. I can't even go anymore because the broccoli beef is literally all broccoli with one piece of beef and the teriyaki chicken is just covered it fat, I have to cut it up when I go home and end up with no chicken because its so fatty. It wasn't as bad when I first started going over a year ago but now its been every time (over ten times) so I'm at my limit and not going anymore. It's rare that I have a positive experience at this location. Most of the time they run out of food or forget stuff in the order. There has been times where I have waited at least a half hour to get my food. They are unorganized and I have been in there were it is busy and people are standing around. I would suggest if you are going to go, make sure it's before the lunch or dinner rush. Otherwise you'll be waiting a LONG time for your food. read more

The food is always excellent here and the customer service is even better!! The restaurant is always clean and well-kept. Sometimes they run out of something of course but it's never too long of a wait. The main reason I am writing this review right now (on Monday 8-3-15) however is because I am thoroughly impressed... 10 minutes before closing tonight an entire baseball team walks in (20+ people) and all order full meals to eat "for here". If it was me I would've kindly asked them to come back another night at least an hour before close and try to call ahead with such a large party. But the staff gladly opened their kitchen back up (it was all but completely shut down for the night) and kept serving up orders with a smile. While the food is pretty good, the way this restaurant is run is it's down fall. Consistently out of the item you order. At times the drive thru is closed. My last visit 9/15/2018 the chow mein was a 6 minute wait and when I paid at the window I waited 2-3 minutes for my change. This was early and likely the till was not set up. I'm being generous here. Went in to day and wanted to order a couple of large sides. After waiting for several people in line (very slow and inefficient crew) got to the order taker. They were out of the fried rice and just had a smattering to noodles left. Was told that it were working on the rice and then it would be nine minutes for the noodles to be cooked. The fried rice or noodles comes with every single entree. There are times when you might be out of one and be cooking it but to be out of both before you even start to cook more is incredibly incompetent. The store looked pretty unkept as well. This place has gone downhill badly. I estimate that had I stayed and waited it would have been close to a half hour from the time I came in until I would have gotten my food. If you want fake Chinese food better check out some of the other Chinese places in Bend. Too bad. read more

This Panda Express is a JOKE. They never, ever, EVER have Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, their preparation and ability to plan ahead and see when they need to make more food is non-existent. Every single time I have been to this Panda Express, without fail, they either don't have what I want or don't give me all of my food. They also will not give you extra sauce (if any at all), even if they say "absolutely!" when you ask. I have been here many times, throughout all times of the day, and get the same awful experience, and I will not be spending any more money here, as I am fed up with the horrific service. read more

I love that Yelp gives you the option to order online, but the employees there won't end up making your order. We sent an online order in two hours ahead of when we were going to pick it up, when we got there the orders hadn't been done because they ran out of noodles for the night an hour before close, and couldn't fathom how to get past that. Instead of calling and asking if we wanted anything else, they just let the empty containers sit in the counters as they continued to break their kitchen down to clean around them until we got there. Again, an hour before closing. We not only had to wait 20 extra minutes, and change our orders since most of the food was gone, but had to go back in after receiving our food because the order was still missing items. I've worked in smaller kitchens, with far less people, and much bigger orders. There's no excuse for crappy customer service when it comes to ordering, especially with a team that large, and a dinning room so empty. It was just a lack of care for customer service. Your cleaning job is important, but so are returning customers. read more

We have been eating at Panda Express for years. We like that they are consistent in their cleanliness and great tasting food. We were excited that one opened in Bend and have been regular customers since it opened. We are very disappointed in how this location is being run. First it is almost always dirty. The windows are dirty, the food counter glass is usually dirty, the tables and floor a usually dirty. I might add we usually get there when it opens so there is really no excuse for this on opening. The service is also lacking. They are often under staffed and very slow. There system is not working to best serve the customer. And last they do not consistently serve the same size portions. One person gives a nice portion and another you get half as much. I would like to know how much food I am going to get when I go somewhere to eat. Overall we are very disappointed in this location and I am still giving two stars because we like the food. read more
